In this thread, each CAG has one post slot. You maintain your list and that is it. If you want to delete your 1 post and repost your list again to get more recent exposure, that is fine (keep the frequency reasonable).
Mods can easily maintain this list by clicking on the post count and seeing if anyone has more than 1 post count and deleting the others. Hopefully we won't have to do this.

This new format should keep things nice and tidy around here. It will make finding your wants much easier, which is the purpose of a thread like this anyway, right? :D

All Haves and Wants are restricted to the topic at hand. For example, don't list a few PC games as a Want then list off a bunch of Atari games. 'CML' and 'Paypal' are exceptions to this rule.

Other than the "if you pay via gift you will not have buyer protection" bit, which is wrong. Even if you don't pay via gift (friends and family now) you won't have buyer protection, since it's an intangible good.

The title, for one.. it's as misleading as the old thread was. Any new CAGs might come to this thread, see the title and content in the OP thinking it's purely a group buy/gift request thread and leave immediately, when it's more accurately described as the Steam trade thread. There's also no longer a "Gift" option in paypal, it was renamed. Doesn't affect forum regulars, but it may confuse CAG newbies.

Wouldn't hurt to have some rules in place about posts - some users relist their goods every 3 hours causing unneeded clutter.

Yes. Please. Lots of people keep reposting the same list every day. And (most importantly) don't delete their old list. I was just talking to Peroxide the other day about this...

I have no problem (personally) with people re-posting/bumping their lists, but at least delete the old one...

Yep. Right now we're in a lull but the thread becomes a real mess anytime there's a decent sale that involves Steam keys, or any of the other DDs -- which you wouldn't even know you're allowed to post here (if that's intended) based on the thread title. Adding some rules parallelling the console code trade threads would have been a nice step forward.

The unspoken rule is generally once a new page comes up, delete your last sale/buy post and post a new one on the new page.
