I was interested in DS2 also but keep in mind that the new edition is coming out next year with all the DLC and iporoved performance. It is my understanding that if you buy the current edition you won't get automatically upgraded when the new one comes out. You would still have to buy it again.

i think Steam and gabe are pissing out of wc this time..before the 1 week TF2 items lock, after it cs'go and dota 2 items to..now region lock?? bye bye steam..and if this are the prices of the winter sale..no buy for me.

I think I'm going to finally give it a try. Found a guy locally selling a Stage Classic Series with an amp, and the Rocksmith Cable for $170, which I don't think is a bad deal.

the price is exactly what the store says it is. No more cross country trading. That means no more cheap deals. Try the forums and see if anyone there has a copy they want to get rid of for cheap or trade.

I would have went for DS2 this sale if the season pass would have received the same discount. Just going to wait for the new version since I've already completed it once on PS3.

And you are right, there are other places to get cheaper keys but it is still unknown if they will work now due to steams new "LOCKDOWN" of their whole entire library. I have asked if it only effects game gifts bought from Steam themselves, or also keys, but no one has stated that these other sites still work without VPN. Off course GMG and Amazon will work, but I am talking about Nuuvem, Origin Mexico/India, and sites alike.

If anyone does know that's these sites still work, then please, let us all know

They still work, this new policy only affects gifts. I've had to use VPN when browsing/buying Origin but not Nuuvem. I think certain regions do require VPN on Nuuvem. It's not a big deal, install Hola browser plugin and then turn it off when it gets to the checkout/paypal page. There are directions on different sites, I got some from Reddit and it worked fine on Origin.

you know, I tried using hola once before when trying to redeem a Canadian Ultra Violet code for a movie. and it didn't help me with the free plugin. there wasn't an option for the US users like me...only the paid version did. maybe I was doing it wrong or something, because 99% of people suggest that plugin/program and most of them are from the US

I don't know. I'm in Canada and it allowed me to order games on both the India and Mexico Origin store. I've also gotten it to display US versions of websites that I normally can't access. I've only used the free version, didn't know there was a pay one.
