I will be going to pick one up just in case they damage the one I have preordered to ship to home.
 
Will they be $25 in store, or will they be full price? I refuse to order one online because I know that Walmart ships in non padded 'bags', and it's just not worth the hassle.

I forgot that it wasn't going to be online only, so I may have to do what you're doing, pick up a "backup" just in case.

somebody on bluray.com said their store got like 12 of these. May get up and go to store.

I'm tempted to go grab it. It's the same price--even a bit cheaper--than the UK import. Once these are gone from the store they will just be more expensive.
 
I thought the steelbook was Walmart exclusive? Why would they price match the regular blu-ray version? (Even if they would, price matching is just the worst. It would need to be at least $10 for me to do it lol)

Personally I wouldn't try it but the thought did cross my mind but who ever gives the price is an idiot. The banner on the bottom of the case clearly states that the metal case is a Wal-Mart exclusive.

I ended up buying a few copies, I forgot about the MCR Gift Card and used it to buy the movie. It did seem limited, I don't know if the guy brought the entire stock out but the box only contained 12 movies.
 
Went at my 7:00am opening... figure my Walmart is 10 kinds of terrible so nothing was out. Hell, the entire new release shelf was only "Dark Knight Returns" and "Ice Age Limited Edition"... which weren't even blocked but scattered all over the place.

Will my other one in the middle of the day.
 
My local WM had about 20 copies. They were on a cardboard display by the registers.

FYI, the regular BR is $19.96, so you'll only be able to PM Target for the Steelbook if the CS rep is a complete moron.
 
Does the Total Recall steelbook have the GoW demo on it?

Yeah it does just grabbed one, incase anyone wants to know the GoW demo is in it as well.

My store had 15 copies out on the shelf. Earlier I have a hard time looking for God of War Ascension Demo until I read the bottom of the J-card. LOL

Why would someone remove all those ellipsis posts? Those were awesome! I swear, the mods on here are either too absent or far too intrusive and heavy handed. There needs to be a better middle ground.

Yup. I went to the store Tuesday to get it, before realizing it has a Friday release for some reason. What idiot thought that up? An ex-Nintendo employee? :roll:
 
I wish my Wal-Mart would have let me have the Total Recall steelbook for 22. I had to pay 25 for it. ._. If I wasn't a collector of Colin Farrell movies I probably wouldn't have done it (to be honest, the movie kinda sucked), but I figure since it's an exclusive, the price will only go up and it was better to get it now.

Oh, and my store only had like... maybe 8 or 9 copies left.
