That's why I wrote artwork may not be finalized ;)

I was wondering...thought to myself "if those words are at the bottom, no sale"

Thanks.
I wish there were a steel book with just the badge or helmet.
Yeah i kinda wish they did something different for the front rather than the same picture thats been everywhere. The badge or helmet would have been really cool.I didnt read much Dredd comics but Slys movie really made me like the way he looked. Such an awesome movie and it looks like there might be a sequel?

Also, I cant believe they didnt release a UK steelbook.

Bah, Amazon has the Incredible Hulk Steelbook back in stock but it's price got jacked up. Almost as expensive as the Star Wars steels.
Iron Man 3 will probably get a world wide steelbook release or at the very least Amazon.uk
Amazon Germany already has a listing up as stated a page or two back.

Yea that's what I was responding to. I am saying that for people interested in getting it from Amazon Germany, they should probably wait a few months and you'll be able to get it in English from either Amazon or Best Buy

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the US will not get a steel for Iron Man 3 (really really hope im wrong) just judging from past marvel releases (Avengers, Thor, Captain America) we dont usually get anything other than the iron pack from Target, and i doubt we'll see that one again.

I hope you are wrong too. The way the values of the Marvel releases have rocketed up, I dont see why Marvel/retailer wouldnt drop money for a steelbook release and tap the market. Thor, Iron Man 1/2, and the Cap steels are atleast $100 right now, and the Avengers is just as valuable. The Target exclusive steel for Iron Man 2 is close to 100 last I checked. I hope they have a steel for Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 and honestly the rest of the movies. The steelbook market is just growing if not exploding already. Its a way to move blu-rays off the shelf and still justify a premium price. It would be nice to get a (re)release of the Iron Man 1/2 steels here in the US when the other movies come out.
I had no clue the Target iron man steel is around $100. I've got mine completely sealed still.
There are a few used from 35 -60 and maybe an auction you could snipe for Iron Man 1 /2 but my lord the Marvel steels are expensive and rare
I had no clue the Target iron man steel is around $100. I've got mine completely sealed still.
They were really limited, it didn't help that a lot of people hoarded them to sell either. I think Iron Man 2 was available a few times after the initial shipment though.
Will the trade and save promotion work with the Steelbooks that are coming out on may 7th?
See this is what Im worried about. I want to preorder a bunch with some RZ certs just so i know Ill get what I want. I dont want to risk going in there and they get none cause noone preordered or have none cause it was low stock. If they have them then it should work, it works on all other steelbooks.

Is it a return/rebuy? Or easy for them to do?
Got my Hellboy steel. Looks beautiful.
You get the UK one? Just got that recently too. Love it, has the comic feel to it.
I had no clue the Target iron man steel is around $100. I've got mine completely sealed still.
I'm on my phone so can't link them, but I also found (and pre-ordered) Scott Pilgrim, Hellboy 2 & Hulk (Ang Lee) for $13.99 each on Amazon. I don't completely love the comic booky look, but that price makes them a lot more adorable.

ETA: That's both Hulk &The Incredible Hulk. No Casino though.

The Warner Steelbooks are not listed in next weeks sales ad and a employee confirmed they will not be sold in stores, so unless your store offers express lane checkout you can not get them at BB and use the U&S coupons. I'm in no hurry to pay $19.99 for these when the Universal Steelbooks are $6 cheaper so I might pass on them all.

And the May 7 Paramount exclusives at Walmart will be Metalpacks, not Steelbooks. But for $12.96 some of them might be worth picking up.

I might be wrong, but I think MetalPaks are the ones that were outlawed recently (Disney used them a lot). Those cases look more like the ones EA has been using for their more recent games. Not sure if they have an official name or not.

Edit: Nevermind. You're correct. I got mixed up between MetalPaks and Viva Metal Boxes.
Where are the Warners steelbook going to be available, is the universal only on Amazon and are the paramounts only at Wal Mart?
The Warner Steelbooks will be at Walmart in-store and Amazon/Best Buy online.

The Paramount MetalPacks so far look like a Walmart Exclusive.

The Universal Steelbooks are going to be at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. A Walmart employee said they already received the Universal Steelbooks and will be put out on May 7 with the Warner Steelbooks and Paramount MetalPacks.

For anyone wanting some of these I noticed the Walmart I work at has already started setting the shelf for these and they are all $12.96(from what I could tell). The only ones I did not see last night are the Paramount steels.

^Wow, I thought those in the top row weren't releasing until June (according to Amazon)? :???: If they're up for sale already, I know what I'm using a few more DVDs on for Upgrade & Save...
