Wow really sorry but this already went live on the 31th of July. I got this steel mixed up with xmen. Worry not though as this ALWAYS be available again closer to release. Just be sure to check back often. Really sorry about the misinformation.

So the discs in the SB cases that Zavvi is selling, isn't playable on US players, right?

Actually, many of them are Region-free. Most of the ones by Universal and WB are Region free.

Has anybody ever had any luck PM'ing a steelbook to the non-steelbook price at Best Buy before? I know I was able to PM the Target Lone Survivor steelbook to the Best Buy price before but never tried it the other way.

How much is the final price + shipping, in USD, for Zavvi SBs?

This is referencing Zavvi's GotG steelbook @ £24.99, which I assume, is the price norm?

Doing a quick currency conversion, and 24.99 is already $41.48 USD; safe to say around $50, final total?

They charge 0.99 GBP to ship, so less.

 
So if I pre-order Cap 2 now for in-store pick up at $29.99 how simple is it to do a return/rebuy at the store to get the lower price and maybe combine it with the $10 off TV season deal?

 
In-store orders for the steelbook are not available. The system will not allow it.

As for the return/rebuy, it depends on your employees. You'd be paying for the movie, getting a refund to your card, then turning around and buying it again, so you'll have funds tied up for a bit.

It's showing that I can pre-order it for instore pickup right now....

 
So has anyone preordered for in store pick up before? I ask as I plan to pick up destiny there and was wondering what time it will be available that day or if it will even be available that day.

 
Is there any reason why Best Buy has 3 different listings for the Sin City 2 BR Steelbook? Two of them are the same price but one is 18.99, significantly cheaper. I would assume that is the DVD version but it has the same listing title saying it's BR and the format says BR as well. Whatever is going on with it there's also two more listings with the same price too so I'm confused which one I should go with.

Also for the last two weeks now whenever I hit the preorder button on Best Buy's site they give me an immediate error message and tell me to try again, what gives?

Oddly, it is live for me as well. Normally, they don't have store pickup live until the night before it releases. This one is a bit curious to why it's live now and not like they've done numerous times in the past.

Are you sure it actually went live? I see the in-store pickup option but I get an error whenever I try to select the in-store pickup for every single store on the list. And like someone else said, they usually don't allow the in-store pickup until the night before or morning of. I was just thinking that it wasn't yet available despite the website showing it as available. I'm keeping my shipping order just in case but I'll keep trying to select in-store pickup for my store over the next few days until it either finally lets me put the order through or actually says not available. Has anyone successfully put in an in-store pickup order through the website for this?

I pre-ordered mine this morning. Yesterday all store were available until everywhere was almost gone from this morning so I was able to select one store closer to home.

 
Best buy now has the captain America steelbook priced at $24.99. Those who did in store pick ups might want to cancel and re order.

Why? It'll automatically ring up as $24.99 if picked up before Sunday.

I pre-ordered one for pick up for personal enjoyment and a second one for collecting purpose. Unfortunately, my pick ups are at two different locations since my local one didn't have anymore available.

 
So I pre-ordered at the $29.99 price paying with a gift card.. If I cancel and place another order to get the $24.99 price how long till the original amount gets credited back to my gift cards?
 
Okay well that's weird then. I still cannot put an order in for in-store pickup for any store. A few of them seem to have updated to "UNAVAILABLE" now but even the ones that still say "Pre-Order" give me an error. I can't even add the item to my cart at all right now, doesn't even let me get to shipping vs in-store pickup.

Just tried it on Firefox instead of Chrome and it was giving me the same error at first but just now it finally let me put an order in for in-store pickup at my local Best Buy. Weird. Last time though, I put in an order for the 3D Amazing Spider-Man 2 magno and it let me put the order in completely for in-store pickup and was later canceled so I'll wait to see what happens before canceling my shipping order.

 
I have a spare Walking Dead Season 4 steelbook if anyone is after it for cost ($32) plus shipping. It's going back to the store in about eight hours, so PM me if you'd like it.

Well just checked and my copy of Winter Solider steel just shipped from Best Buy, also the price auto-adjusted to the 24.99.  Now here's hoping it will get here without any problems.
