Not only was he counting down the time in the thread, but he said closed. Get over it dude. It's a $2 item you lost.
Whatever I still won't be bidding in any of his future lowballs.
unfortunately, this isn't how lowballs work. you bid $10 on both guncons in post #315, which i believe to be the high bid. this means you win both for $10 each. you get items at your bid.

however, your $6 bid on Threads of Fate was not the highest, so you shouldn't win that.

likewise, you only bid $6 on 48.Final Fantasy Origins-complete, yet somehow won that for $11.

for some reason, everything worked correctly for some of your other bids - for example, you only bid $4 on Kingdom Hearts, but weren't magically 'upgraded' to a winning bid of $8 like you were for other items.

i'm also pretty sure Karma won Dragonball for only 11, not 12, though i'd need to triple check that. he only bid $11, so either he won it for 11 or someone else already did, though i didn't see it.
You didn't read my post buddy. Then that would be Choice A. I was showing him the difference in his logic.

ah, ok, i read it, i just misinterpreted it.

gotcha. also of note, if you get the magic upgrade mojo, you win several more items as well (not that this should be how it's done).

Good, no one wants someone like you hanging around threads bitching about something they are very clearly wrong on.
PLEASE don't add to the shitstorm. The lowball ended 16 hours ago, and clearly states this in the title.
It'd be hilarious, for someone on the outside of this mess looking in, if he honored this bid =P

:whee::rofl::rofl::rofl::whee:

HOLY fuckING SHIT

I can't stop laughing at this complete madness. It's like a good mystery novel..you know the bad guys fucked and got caught doing bad but you're always eager to hear why he was in the right...and ohhh boy am I ready to hear Star's response. xD

Seriously, to everyone that got fucked so far, I am sorry. I hope it gets fixed, but in the mean time I can't help but laugh and consider myself grateful for not having anything to do with this lowball.

Seriously though, I can't wait to watch the rest of it unfold. I wish I had more to add, but it just looks like a clusterfuck of the most epic proportions.

Honestly I have bid in many lowballs and won tons of stuff but this guy doesn't seem to know what he is doing and you're a douche, Momouchi because when I bid it still said the lowball was live in the title and people were still bidding when I posted, so honestly I didn't realize the Midnight he mentioned was at 12am EST.

We've been through this in other lowball threads, and pretty much the end note is (and even in DV8's rules, which if this is a DV8 lowball) the OP's close post is the end. He posted closed, and you posted your bid after... Not like a minute or two... About fourteen. You lost it. The end.

regardless of how this works out, this one proves DV8 needs one more official rule:

1) A bid is only a bid for the amount the bid is for. A bid is not automatically upgraded to a winning bid - for example, if someone bids $5 on an item that's already up to $7, they do not win the bid and have their bid automatically upgraded to $8.

I mean, you'd think this is obvious. You'd think.

You would think. I thought I lost the other stuff...I just want my Guncons and Wild Arms. And I'm kinda pissed the Guncons don't come with sensors...they are worthless until I get some :(
this was not a poorly organized clusterfuck of a lowball

when people bid on stuff i assumed they wanted to be the higher bid so i added a dollar.if my internet was not slow like it was this would be ok for some reason.it was slow at the last hour so it was very hard to keep up with bids and again i very sorry

my internet was slow it was hard to update the bids so when people post the bids
i am very sorry about this. people just dont know i feel i wanted this to go well and it did'nt go well because my internet was slow
Wow starmask... Just wow...

I'm not even going to bother trying to make it to the end of this thread, because I have seen enough already.

Much as your last lowball, you need to cancel the bids of anyone that does not want to follow through at this point. If a few misguided souls do still want to buy from you, feel free to complete the transaction, but do not leave negative feedback for anyone that chooses not to.

First of all, you clearly padded bids by erroneously listing bidders and bid amounts on the wrong items. Purposely or not, it would have caused people to bid more than the true minimum bid amount.

Not only this, but I cannot believe that you have the audacity to state that you added $1 to people's bids so they could have the highest bid.
This is the first time in history in which assuming made an ass out of you and a 3rd party, said 3rd party being myself.

Thank you very much for taking my name and giving it a virtual flogging. I really appreciate that.

Don't expect many people to follow through and also, don't count on seeing that 200 feedback anytime soon as this is the second time you have looked like one of the greediest members of what is, otherwise, a very good CAG community.

You can consider future sponsorship completely impossible.
I still got your back starmask
There is so much that could be said...but I will just respond with this.

LOL
I still got your back starmask
Are you trying to make it look like you're the only person on his side to hope you get some freebies or something? We've had several people with concrete proof point out his mistakes and he seemed to blow those posts off like they're not important. The guy who made Lowball sales a staple on CAG even pointed out where he was wrong... Starmask needs to really do what he can to salvage some hope...

Your name will always be good in the TF. ;)

I still applaud you for giving someone a second chance, but also for making sure there won't be a third.

:applause:

I gotta agree with this. Your name is still good around here dv8, don't worry about that at all.

so when people bid a lower bid what should i have done about it and i did not know that it was going to be very winded at the last hour of my LOWBALL SALE so i couldn't keep the bids posted fast i am sorry dv8mad all i wanted was to have a great sale that's all and i am also sorry to CAG's that bid on my stuff because i was not fast to keep posting the bids because my internet was slow i would like to make it right so how can i

star you don't need to do a thing you did what you could with your sale and that's it there should be a new rule in the lowball stating that the seller should not be responsible for if the bidders are not clear of what they want

If people bid lower than the actual amount, you could have just posted in the thread telling them their bid was too low.

Or you could have also updated the bids in the OP, and people will be able to figure it out on their own.

The way you went about it was very wrong and uncalled for. Slow internet connection is not a valid excuse for your actions.

So you're telling DV8 he should change the rules of his sales that have worked for at least a year and a half, if not longer? Riiiiight... It wasn't the bidders fault, it was Starmask's for adding $ amounts when he wasn't given the go-ahead to.

i did posted the bids in the OP

so how people can tell me that it wasn't going well before the one hour left and i did my best to keep up after that but with the fast bids coming in and the slow internet ok i know i am wrong for because assumed they wanted to be the higher bid because they just bided

Go back to page 12, I saw multiple times where you screwed up updates.

Regardless of people wanting to be the highest bid, it's not right to just automatically bump somebody's bid up. I don't know what "becassumed" means, but if you assumed they wanted to be the highest bidder, that's correct, but you just jumped the shark on that.

ok so how many people dont look at the last posts to see the bids before bidding on stuff

Ok and what about adding peoples names to items they didn't bid on with amounts next to them? Slow Internet or not doesn't justify that as its just a shady and dishonest practice padding bids so others end up bidding more. I myself don't see how you did that by accident, it just doesn't seem possible. Also when it was pointed out multiple times you simply disregarded the fact, I mean come on you think we're all that ignorant to not have noticed. The shameful part of it is that after the last lowball fiasco and Dv8mad generously allowing you a second chance when most wouldn't have been so kind another dubious issue arises at the end of your second chance redemption lowball.
ok so how many people dont look at the last posts to see the bids before bidding on stuff
They should. If they don't and bid the current total, that's their problem. It's better to just sit out the last 30 or so minutes and make sure people keep up with the current bids. You can say you added an extra dollar onto their bids because you thought they wanted to be the highest bidders, but I honestly think you did it for other reasons... There's another thing I don't agree with but I don't want to bring it up. You screwed up, plain and simple. You have tried apologizing sort of, but not before you told people they were wrong. DV8 gave you another chance and you screwed up. Accept it, let people retract their bids if they want to, let the people who want to pay pay and ship out their stuff, and try to not screw up again...

One last thing, did I read your post right that you're holding off mailing any items until like Sunday, because of snow?

i fixed the wrong names .i copyed and pasted the names i may have made a mistake and copy and pasted the wrong names and if i was fast to post the bids this would be ok if it wasn't so wind out side because the storm

The
fuck

Seriously, do you even think before you type? I can't even make sense of this. You make my head hurt. The wind made you fuck up your copy pasting? Holy shit, is it a hurricane? Is your roof gone? Dude, get to safety, don't worry about us while a tropical storm is raping the land!

If Amc5kidz bids $6 on Threads of Fate, that means he is willing to pay $6 for it.

If the current bid is $10, then nothing happens. It's that simple. Amc5kidz NEVER said he would pay $11 for Threads of Fate, and therefore you giving him an $11 bid is unfair for many reasons:

1) he is now responsible for paying $5 more than he ever said
2) I am out of an item I rightfully won in the lowball at $10
3) IF I looked at your first page, I would have accidentally bid $12 on an item that was already MINE thinking someone bid $11, when nobody did (this is called bid padding and is unethical).
4) Anyone could 'win' an item by sniping at the last second without regard to actual current bids, because your 'logic' of giving them +$1 would guarantee them the win.

Fix Threads of Fate, please. Nobody ever bid $11. It's that simple. My winning bid is $10. Your slow internet doesn't change that.

There was no need for you to 'rush' through the final posts at the end trying to update the first post... anyone that cared was following the thread already.

I saw Amc5kidz bid for $6 at the very end (1 minute left!) and did NOT bid again because I knew his bid wasn't high enough. There was no reason for me to think you'd up his bid by $5! In fact, there is every reason to assume you wouldn't...

Fix this.

no i ask if they wanted me to wait to ship out beacuse buffalo is getting alot snow from mon-sunday or if they wanted me to ship out now it may take later because of the snow i was giving them the heads up

starmask, how are you proceeding? are you fixing this or are you just going to blatantly be unethical? you've yet to respond to me despite the fact that i've posted my situation way too many times, giving you way too much credit -before- you even posted your 'final' bid list. are you fixing my situation or are you seriously this unethical?
