Street Fighter 4 Madcatz Tournament Edition Stick (PS3) In Stock Newegg.com

Thanks Op! I may pick this up for a friend (have it shipped) b/c he bought a 360 TE stick & it wouldn't work with his PS3!!!
Showing in stock for me in Firefox. Wasn't the case with Google Chrome.
Showing up as In stock for me via Iphone Safari browser.
Order it at:

A quick note:
This is NOT the actual tournament stick as far as I know. We have these in stock at my store for 80$ and it's the same. Madcatz has discontinued the actual tournament sticks, but will continue manufacturing the fight stick (as the link directs) and the fight pads. This is what I have heard through my company, so again, not 110% sure, but pretty damn close.

What are you talking about... The linked product IS the TE stick.

It's not out of stock. Newegg have this bug where item will show up out of stock. Just close your browser, clear your cookies, etc; and try again.

Alright first of all the link I provided is in fact the MADCATZ TOURNAMENT EDITION SICK PS3 Version, how so? Because the Newegg.com (A very reputable online merchant) details it so.

Second of all, the T.E edition is $150 NOT the non-sanwa sub-par $80 stick.

Third, Madcatz initially made the T.E sticks limited in supply but changed their mind since the demand for the them is so high. If you look at the video game deals these past couple of weeks several online merchants like Gamestop.com, Bestbuy.com, NEWEGG.COM to name a few have been selling the T.E sticks and have been selling out within the first couple of hours of being available.

All right all right. The shipment we got in store was just wrong. Huh... we have the tourney sticks for 80$..

For sticks that seem so common (I typically judge from demand on eBay and it is low right now), it seems like they sell out awfully quickly. Are people waiting around for deals like this to pop up or are they waiting for the HRAP that is coming out soon?

And worth every penny.

I just got done with a dual pcb mod for my 360 TE (about $80) so now it works for both consoles.

And I doubt people are waiting on the rehashed HRAP that's coming out soon...the TE is far and away the best stick on the market.

Damn, all this time i was hoping Newegg got this TE in stock and now finally it did (after ordering from GS that is). Well, is OoS anyway, so i don't feel that bad...

I got my TE over the weekend, the thing is beautiful, i'm afraid to use it

I haven't use it b/c i was busy, definitely will give it a try tonight.

P.S. those of you ordered from BB and if the TE was shipped in a bag (bag over the box), you're kind of screwed... The TE box is beautiful as well (actually, better than the stick IMO), any damage to the box during shipping is a crime. Oh, forgot to mention, the one from GS i ordered came with an outer box, the TE box is flawless...

With a bit of soldering you can dual mod it. Modding sticks is freakin addictive. Never owned an arcade stick till late last year. I've since gone on to mod 4 of them with Sanwa and Seimitsu parts.

Well Like I said modding them is addicting. Though to break it down.

The Chun-Li Stick will work on PS3 and Xbox360 but it won't work on PS2 games with PS3 backwards compatiblity do to lack of firmware support for the Madcatz PCB.

The Sol Badguy stick will also work on PS3 and 360 and can work with PS2 games through backwards compatibilty. So If I wanted to be able to use two sticks for VS mode in my PS2 fighters I'd need at least a 3rd stick.

The Pearl button stick and the KOF stick are equipped with Multi Console Cuthulu PCB's that allow them to work on PS3, PS2, Game Cube, PC, and original Xbox. But do to Microsoft's built in controller protection they do not work on Xbox 360.

Thus with the 4 sticks I have at leaste 2 that will work on any system. All 4 work on PS3 games and all 4 work on PC (4 player Turtles in Time via MAME).

Could you give me more info about the dual pcb mod on a 360 TE? I assume this mod will make a 360 TE stick work on both 360 and PS3. Thanks.

Wrong again. You have the standard edition fight sticks for $80, their normal price. You do not have the Tournament Edition sticks that retail for $150. There are major differences between them, hell even G4 can tell the differences between them.

Learn from your mistakes or GTFO.

Nice work! If it was mine, I might have considered it. Now my friend has his PS3 TE stick & couldn't be happier!
