Well, I don't know about poopstains, but those poles gotta be dirty. Shit would probably look like a bar of plutonium if you held one of those CSI lights up to it.
 
Depends what you mean by "clean."

There are certainly more high-end locations than others. And those are definitely better kept than some hole-in-the-wall places (which could be taken literally, I suppose). But if you're looking for hygiene, you're definitely not going to find it.
 
I've been to one that literally had blood stains on the floor from all the fights and sadly... some one the poles. Ahh good ol Jacksonville, NC!
 
If you want an awesome strip club experience, I would definitely check out Legz Club Gold in Rigeley, WV.

Downtrodden ladies with some teeth, and at least one Cesarian Section scar and/or bullet wound. Best part, you're allowed to throw loose change at them. People actually stroll in there with rolls of dimes, nickels, and quarters.

Oh... and they don't even "dance." They try to swing on the pole, but usually just end up laying on the floor showing you the no-so-goods.

I'm always intrigued by carnival quality games, but the midway barker screaming "look at that beaver!" during the dancer's performance is a bit distracting.

it really depends on the location, if its a newer building it would probably be clean, or if the radio mentions them alot. Usually the dirtier ones are pretty old looking and not as attractive. But the scuzzy ones are the best because they tend to do a lil more than the high class ones since they take you behind the wall for the lap dances. Both have good looking girls but in my experience in the high class ones the girls have fake boobs and they hurt when they hit you. But id rather spend money on a girlfriend and get more than pay a girl $20 to rub her boobs in my face.
 
Looks like that "classy" joint I previously mentioned has another coupon promotion going on. Yep... a strip club with printable coupons that also happen to appear in the local newspaper.

Go to Los Angeles or Las Vegas. Tons of porn stars stripping in locations cleaner than your house, and with a much more aggressive dress code.

And better looking women. (For some) Spearmint Rhino is my club of choice, when the time comes.

By the same token, Delilah's in Philadelphia. Used to go there from time to time to get a break from law school. Pretty damned upscale, even in the non-champagne-room area.

Granted, this was 10 years ago, but I can't imagine they went downhill.
 
better off getting a hooker at least you can touch them why go through the trouble of getting cockteased when you can just get married or date a religious chick. its cheaper and you have more to show for it in the end.
 
I don't get the appeal for strip clubs. Younger, I thought it was going to be awesome so when I became legal I went to delilahs den (NJ). Strippers looked nice but it wasn't great since all I could do was look. Thought about getting a dance but it costs how much? I was just thinking I could keep the money and do my gf when I leave or whatever. It was VERY boring and expensive (I think the entrance fee was 20 and then a 2 drink minimum). I dunno about elsewhere but nj clubs don't allow liquor if they get totally naked. So I had to buy $5 bottles of water or something. Half naked clubs have alcoholic drinks. That alone pretty much ruined it for me. I think I'll try at least one more club if I can find one where the girls can make it clap. That'd be pretty interesting.

One near me (in East St. Louis) has a great Steak and Fries lunch for $4.99. Great deal, until you get add the $12 draft beer. It is a huge beer at least and there is no cover charge if you are there for lunch.

amazingly, i just found out recently that you can find strip clubs through Yelp. so that might be a viable option for you if you're looking for some in your local area and seeing others reviews and thoughts.
