Just came back from the Norwalk CT TRU. Summon Knight Swordcraft Story for GBA is now $6.98 across all TRU's. Subtract the 15% off all clearance items and it came out to $6.33 out the door.

All items with an "8" at the end of the price are clearance priced and are eligible for the 15% off.

Good luck!

Yeah, I wouldn't say "across all TRU's" OP.

I bought one about a month ago for $6.48 and went in to have it price adjusted for the 15% off (was doing a bunch of games and that was one of them - not worth it JUSt for that one ). They did it via a return/repurchase and when they rang it up at this other store which is about 20 miles from the one I bought it at, it came up $25.98! So a clearance price there, but not much of one ;). Needless to say they just cancelled that part of it and kept it on my original receipt at $6.48 (note $6.48 not $6.98 as you said - so more YMMV there).

Hmmm. The clerk told me it was a universal price drop across all TRU's, thus I assumed coming from an employee that it was truly universal...

I just know it's going to be $20.xx at my TRU, since that's what the sticker price is and my TRU is always very good at keeping prices current.

I tried getting my DS clearance games price adjusted due to the clearance, but it was past the 14 day limit. I'm thinking of returning and rebuying as previously mentioned, but I have a feeling my TRU might screw me and ask why I'd do it and refuse to sell me the games back.

Raced over to my local TRU and came back empty handed...then again my local TRU sucks for clearance games. They were even OOS of Spider-Man slip and slides, which were also on clearance. What a bummer :bomb:

It's universally on clearance, just at all kinds of different prices ;). Like I said, I got it 50 cents cheaper a month ago.
I have an extra sealed one that I'd trade for the 2nd Summon Night sealed.
The 2nd SM still seems to be regular price, but yeah I'd trade SM1 for SM2 too if I had a spare copy, ha ha. I got SM1 on clearance elsewhere ($8 at FM, you won't find it there anymore) and really like it.

I beat this game back when it was a new release. Its okay, but definitely very shallow, short game. If you're a Tales-style action/RPG fan its worth checking out. Hell for under $7 its worth checking out period.
Wow, that's my TRU. I'll try to get over there.
Did they have anything else of note?
I was just over there a couple weeks ago, and didn't see this game since I went out for the suikoden 4 clearence (didnt have it either), maybe try hamden later today.

Bleh after digging through the newly-filled clearance bin, it seems the copy sold in the last week. And the guy "checked the computer" and said stock was 0. fuck.

FINALLY. My TRU dropped their stock to $11 each from $25. I think they have more of Summon Night than any other GBA game, judging from the pile I saw in the clearance bin last night.

Thanks a lot OP went out right after I saw this post and found the last copy at my TRU went to the register to get a price check and it came up $6 ^_^ so with the 15% off it came out to $5.54 :) Thanks again I've been wanting this game for awhile. In case anyone is curious I went to the TRU in Valley Stream.

Hm. I'll have to check the TRU in Times Square today on my lunch break. Thanks for the tip, OP!

I'd pick up copies for anyone who wants one, and they definitely have them in stock. They're not discounted to the cheap price that others are reporting ($5.xx, $6.xx). My TRU copies are $11.05 after discount - $13 sticker price - before tax, shipping, etc.

After all that's taken into consideration it'd be like $16.50 shipped first class w/DC, which is not far from retail unfortunately. I'm hoping they'll drop sometime soon although the drop from $25 was just last week.
