Yesterday I traded in a few games and the Sony guy helped me find a La Noire game for the xbox360, I thought that was funny. He couldn't find it the whole time I was trading in my games but as soon as I finished he comes to me with a complete edition and says I found it in the used games bin. I ask him if that's the same game on sale in the ad and he just escorted me to the cashier just in case they gave me shit haha. Good guy.

My kids got the Skylanders for the 360 and I was going to get the 3ds one to get tehm the 3 figures in that starter set and use the portal for them to hook up to the PC and it didn't ring up on sale. They said the sale was only for the Wii version. Their loss. I'll buy it next week at Kmart for $5 less.

Even if TRU has a skylanders sale, they dont have any in stock. I went to check today and they were almost cleaned out again, aside from a few Boomers and Voodoods. It seems like Activision made sure there were enough copies of the game out, yet they really did underestimate the demand for the seperate figures.

That sounds totally wrong. I'm an employee at a store in WA and I'd be pretty surprised to hear this was true. I know some stores that have run into legal issues and require thumbprints or Best Buy receipts, but haven't heard of any cancelling their program. In fact company wide we've rolled out trade-ins for way more stuff.

I'm a day late but technically that Rocketfish headset only applies to skus: 3088923 and 3088969. Gotta love managers that know nothing about gaming though! As for quality on all that stuff it tends to vary. I've had really awful Rocketfish stuff, and some totally fine Rocketfish stuff. Our store saw double digit returns of the wireless stereo headsets though the day after X-Mas so I'd probably hesitate to get one of those.

My local Target had Rayman Origins listed on sale for $35 PS3/360 and $30 Wii on the shelves, but it isn't in the weekly ad. I double checked the sale listing by the item and it indeed said it was valid 01/01 to 01/07. I'm assuming this is across the chain? Sorry if I missed this somewhere else.

Managed to get two Skylanders for $15 at TRU today. My store just restocked this morning and there were a ton of figures. They even accepted my $5 rewards coupon, making the total just over $10.

Got 3 of my 4 games in today. 2 complete DS games, and one disc only PS2 game. PS2 game is in great shape at least. The last game I ordered is in backorder, which I have a feeling will get cancelled. If this happens I'l raise hell.
