thanks OP! glad to see some of the expensive ones are starting to drop finally. time to use up some of my best buy credit...
 
anyone else having a problem with the pip special feature? playing it on my ps3 and it's on by default and it won't let me turn it off in any menu
 
I bought this when it first came out, I would have rather payed this price! I really didn't get into this movie though.

I second that. I waited and waited for it to drop to this price...I think I finally gave in when I caught it for $13 or so on Amazon. $9.99 is an excellent price for this movie.
 
The first two-thirds of this movie are amazing. The last third is fine. The soundtrack is incredible. Buy this movie if you like sci-fi with an emphasis on "sci".

tried to watch it last night on my ps3 and had the same problem, does anyone no if there is a fix?

I've been waiting to buy this for a week since this issue had been brought up. There is no fix as of yet and AFAIK it only affects the PS3 and Sony BD players.

Unfortunately I refuse to buy it until Sony wakes up and fixes the problem.
 
i waited for this deal for quite sometime, i saw it in the theatre, If you liked Event horizon you'll like this movie also-
 
Hmmmm....definitely thinking about pulling the trigger now that Amazon has matched it.

Is this problem present on every PS3/Disc? Bought this a few days ago before the problem was posted and all I have is a PS3 to play BDs. I'm wondering if I'm going to have to shelve this until I buy a dedicated player.

if your ps3 firmware is up to date, i'm pretty sure the problem will occur on yours too. i think people have unofficially concluded that it's a hardware problem, and not the bd.

Yeah, its its similar in some ways to Event Horizon, that's probably a pretty safe assumption. I like them both, but I would think some people that didn't like Event Horizon would like this.

Just thought I'd report back that I watched it today and everything was fine. So if anyone was scared away by the issue, know that it's not a definite!
