XXL is pretty big, so I don't think it will be a problem.

They also have a size chart online, so I guess you could measure what you're wearing now and compare.

size chart is useless because they have many different brands. I've bought about 5 size large shirts from them in the past, some are way too tight, some are way too big and like one actually fits good. Unless your in the store you don't know if your going to get a decent fitting shirt or if the shirt is actually going to be decent quality.
 
I went into Hot tompic today and picked up a Paranoia Agent T-shirt. I was looking for that. They had two Token shirst but they were only small. They didn't have any of the other shirts I was looking for. But thsy did have a sweet Led Zepplin shirt I might go back for.

As for size, I am smack dab between an XL and a Large. An XL is a little too big, and a L is a little too tight.

get XL's and try to shrink them a little.
 
So tempted on the Vash coat, but I'm not sure of even a mens XS will be small enough for me, and if it will even look good on me. :p
 
I stopped by the local HT just to see what they had instore. Anyone else find Samurai Champloo Vol. 6 Limited Collector's Edition in the metal tin for $5.99?

Just got an email saying two things were out of Stock. Mega Man The Man XL, and Nintendo controller 3peat shirt LG. Boo! Whats so hard about a real time inventory.

That was probably the coolest thing I got too.

Oh well. Better than overstock.com. Otherwise they'd keep us in the dark for 2 weeks and send us a cheery e-mail, as well as ask us to rate the non-shipped item in question. It's like a cockslap and a half, with the perpetrator screaming TELL ME IT'S ICE CREAM, CHUCKLES during such an activity.
 
I got an OOS email too. Wheaties shirt was out, but that's ok, as long as everything else comes. I also saw that Champloo Vol 6 dvd in store. Besides this sale, Hot Topic always has some good stuff cleraenced, good idea to check whenever you're in the area.

Got my order today. Even with about 12 items (half of them keychains), they didn't screw it up, and it came packaged quite nicely. Impressive for Hot Topic, beats some other stores hands down (coughbestbuycough). Nothing missing save for the shirt that got backorderded, but oh well, I am quite happy.

So, unless anyone got one of those green Ireland soccer shirts in medium that they don't want, I'm satisfied. :)

damn you got yours fast. Mines not expected till tuesday.
 
Got mine about 2 hrs ago. :D Everything is nice, no problems. Pants are huge...but I expected as much. Not big as in won't fit, big as in fucking big! Hope I can get used to em, never really worn stuff like this before.

Haha, me too. I have a few pairs of pants like this, but I hardly ever wear'em. My gf has already expressed her dislike for them. :)
 
Got all my stuff two days ago. Everything I ordered was in stock and arrived safely! I'm really happy with Hottopic this time. The previous sale in November that I ordered stuff, not everything arrived.

The only problem is that the sizes are unexpectedly HUGE! I don't regularly shop at Hot Topic stores, so I didn't know. Too bad with these there's no return (but even so, I wouldn't even want to eat the shipping.)

I had low but hopeful expectations for the sizing of the Trigun Vash the Stampede coat that I ordered, and when it arrived it indeed was gigantic, so with some regrets I'm flipping it back up on eBay. Even so, the skinny dude who can fit this coat has to be pretty tall I guess. Really really hoping someone is going to bid on it otherwise I don't really know what I'll do with the coat. (SHAMELESS PLUG! If you're looking for the coat on eBay look for an auction from "nickelpinch")
