I tried mastering Pit. But the problem is that he is too predictable. I'm not sure how to use him so he isn't predictable. :roll:
I think I SD too much. I'm not fighting you, Marc tonight. Not tonight. Tommorow maybe.

Joeb, you're good just like I thought. I should watch all your weak points though.
Wow, D3 jump kick recovery is simply amazing. He does like 4 kicks in the air.

Well, to be fair, anyone who plays Lucas online is already at a disadvantage. He gimps himself pretty regularly. That said, I think you've improved a whole lot since I last played you. You had some pretty nice juggles going against Dedede. :)

I'm on again if anyone would like to play. Especially z, Mad D, or foltzie: I'd like to get my matches done. :)

GG Joeb and Jack. I really like the luigi round. I like doing lots of dragon punches.

EDIT: Before you quit, I was just about to play Olimar. Do you want to train my Olimar?

EDIT 2: Some of it worked but it forced me to re-strategize. Por ejemplo, starting w/ grenades wasn't working so I had to crawl. Then you kept flying over my mortars so I had to do the sex kick. Word of advice: ABUSE forward b if you can predict the opponent's next move. EVERYONE hates it. That move killed me several times b/c of my gyro or charged laser.

Darn it marc, I can't beat you. I just made you stronger. Your edgeguard is crazy good and I can't find many openings. You seem to improve as you lose stock. I guess you do best in stressful situations. :roll:

Did some of my mind trick work on you? I was wiggling pit's arrow. Pit's arrow does a lousy 5% and grenade do like 12%. That doesn't seems fair.

If I keep making you better than joeb might not have a chance. My mind tricks is just improving your perception and tactics.

Edit: give me 30 minutes to rest. I can't take that much brawl at once. I'm calling it a food eating break.
I have one more character to train as well.

Edit #2: Joeb and Marc are fighting. I can't get in even. I just want to watch.

Hey Marc! Good games! Sorry I quit that last match - the lag was getting to me. I need that speed, and lag was not conducive. That said, you were definitely winning, so way to go! :clap:

I still feel a bit rusty - maybe a few more days will help me out. :)

GGs to you, too! My Olimar kept getting pwned BADLY.

I'm not sure if you're timing was off but you're D3 grabs weren't as deadly. At the same time, I was mashing the joystick like mad!

I was so happy when I saw 9 Ike icons under Falls in one of our FFA's :bouncy:. Ike's a beast in FFA's but not so in 1-on-1's.

Edit: I felt that I was using everything I learned about pit in that last match.
It's still hard to find an opening when you're edgeguarding. Those mind tricks work. I still think I'm going to choke under pressure during a real match. You should do the rolling mortar move a lot. If I stay in the middle then I won't be harmed.

Good games mad d, goo and mai. I don't think there is anything I hate more than having a running nose while playing these matches...seriously.
 
The PAX tournament was horrible. 256 players and I get paired up with a top 10 player in Washington state first round and he barely beats me. He ended up getting 2nd place. If it was double elimination, I wouldve rampaged through the losers bracket for a while. Completely threw away Friday waiting in various lines related to the tournament.

The NEC LCD TVs were some of the best I've seen though, at that size. By my guess, there probably wasnt more than a 3-5 frame shift.

Saturday and Sunday were fun though.

Those were some of the most evenly matched games I've played. Percentages didn't mean much since it always came to the last life.

I also needed to leave while I was on top. Otherwise, I would be a sad panda. :whistle2:(

P.S. I am no longer stuck on a 'plateau'. Thanks to you (a few weeks back), I've learned to play more strategically by changing my attack and defense patterns.

Sorry for not letting anyone in when it was just me and marc, I hadn't 1vs1 him in a while so I wanted to get some matches going.

Really close ones when we did ROB dittos, ended up killing myself in that last game too, buffered my gyro after you blasted me with the laser and I didn't react fast enough to cancel and go into flight. Ah well. GG's nonetheless.

Edit: I noticed that you weren't just mindlessly spamming projectiles (though there were still a lot flying around, on both sides :lol:) I was pleasantly surprised when you gave me a solid run for my money, made me want to win even more, especially on the matches when you were well ahead in stock and %.

Still need to take down your snake though, can't believe i got hit by so many upsmashes and ftilts *hangs head in shame*
