Nice games. I swear I'm getting better, but you're just currently way above my level. What was with the Falco blaster chain you got me in? Is there some way to escape that?
 
That Falco blaster thing is "Laser Lock." There's no way to escape that thing, unless I get tired of pressing B (which I did lol). It's really situational and hard to do so it's something you don't have to worry about 99% of the time. I just got lucky that round in terms of getting it off. Also, thanks for not getting pissed off about that.

I know, I rarely see people play as him. I don't see why not :lol:

Grabs are really starting to annoy me :cry: I have to jump everywhere just to avoid them. I'm not feeling too up to that tonight, but at least I was able to learn a few new ways to dodge them.

Nice games Strell, haven't played in a while so it was nice to get some of the rust beaten off me. Especially after how badly you dominated poor Mario with Kirby. I swear, there was nothing left but his 'stache after that match :lol:

Good games all I played (hero, zitanix, JoeB, suko), but these disconnects and lag gave me a serious, throbbing headache.

What I wouldn't give to see this game with lagless play.
 
I hate how disconnects happen almost always when the match is down to the wire. Good games Strell and JoeB. We don't play each other enough.
 
I can pretty much assure you it's no individual in particular. Brawl Online has just been plagued with disconnect issues lately. Like Strell said, it's a major pain in the butt.

Z, that Meta Knight looks like he's in a good shape to take out Dedede. We'll have to 1v1 sometime so we can check that out.
 
I'm sorry Rig. I'd play, but my head is just throbbing. I don't know why this sort of thing gives me a headache, but it seriously does.

I need to go finish watching Noein anyway, which was on the agenda for tonight.

Edit: With the advent of Wii Fit, we should adopt taunts that capitalize. MY BMI > YUR BMI FATTY. Or should it be less than?

Damn. That's too open to interpretation. Hmmm.

I waited in the lobby for nearly ten minutes before three others finally joined (for the team battle). Ten seconds into the match, and I'm disconnected.

I think I have had *one* random match actually work like it should.

Gotta get some practice in before we play you guys!

The frequency of these tournaments will probably be decreasing as time goes on, and I'll have to go further out.

For instance, I'll probably be going to a big one in Arizona June 14-15, and theres a massive one in Florida at the end of July I think. I'll be going to PAX in Seattle in August. I just thought I'd see if there was anyone out there worth visiting

Also, There is a tournament in Houston Saturday June 21, and another tournament in Waco the following day. The road between the two places runs through a certain town where no one good actually lives but the people like to talk big. Perhaps I could stop in the for the night and leave in the morning.
 
If that tournament was earlier, I would have considered going. Unfortunately I need to get back home and start summer classes around that time.

Edit: Actually, it's sounds kinda pricey when all is added up.
 
There seem to be a decent amount of tournaments around where I live, but it'd be a pretty long trip for you. The farthest I'd probably be able to go this summer is MD/VA, so if you were willing to go that far maybe we could meet up.

...Or we can play with wifi lag!
 
My best online games are with a friend an hour away.
It's almost, ALMOST, like he's in the room with me, pretty amazing for wifi.

I have cable, he has fios, might have something to do with it.
