Be careful, I went online after playing my friends in person and the lag messed me up for a few matches.

By the way, Joe, I sent that DK vs Dedede match to my friend and he converted it to .avi. If you want it I can send it to you however you want.

Strell I had your problem about a month ago for about two weeks straight and when I did join games it was going at 3 frames a second. I changed my router channels and found one that worked. The only problem is it is the same channel as my house phone and the neighbors phone signal and every-time they used their phone I get dropped. Port forwarding, dmz, reseting the router to factory defaults and all that other stuff didn't work. It made no sense why something that always worked before decided not to anymore like it was an organic being. I know that doesn't help but I know what you are going through.

Also curb stomping your router does nothing.

Janet you had me all frustrated tonight, Even when I was playing Goo (practice Goo and Joe!) he wasn't even tossing me around as much as you did some games. Don't take any credit away from yourself either ;) I was slamming my wavebird down on to the floor and subsequently losing my appetite. I missed videogames :lol:

I thought I was playing pretty well. That last match I did earlier tonight where I won as Pit was literally the first time I've ever used him. He's not bad. I sometimes think people get annoyed with me for choosing the same 4-5 characters, so I'm trying to branch out.
And blame Suko. He made it so I jump every time someone comes near me. It's the only way I've learned how to get out of grabs! And it's highly effective :cool:
 
Okay, I'm gonna make my return to Brawl after tonight (tomorrow morning is my last big grade of this school year)
Just found out my local library is having a Brawl tourney (for grades 5-12, lulz. I wonder if you could get in if you weren't grade 5-12 anyways. If it's strictly grades 5-12 then the really good people won't be able to play. *hopes*)

Since I'm in a pretty shitty "city" (population 20K is not a city) I'm expecting the worst. I'm gonna try to get more info, but until then I'm expecting the following rules:

Wiimotes only
Nothing unlocked (characters/stages/additional rules)
All items
1v1v1v1 matches

Anyway, assuming that it's at least no unlockables and all items, who would be the best character? I'm best with D3, but I can roll with MK a little bit. A little while back it was mentioned MK can repel a hammer. Does this work for golden hammer too? Does MK's tornado repel everything except hammer, golden hammer, bomb, and smart bomb? It's been a while but I think I remember something like that in my MK shenanigans.

Good games to Arikado, Suko, Daisydog, and Mad D. The 3 ganon match where everyone was the same color was amazing!

Sorry about that falco game, but I've been trying to get the chaingrab off and I finally did it! Whee! I feel like I stole that game from you. =P

My friend and I played with DMK last night.

Yes, he beat me the majority of the games, but I'm most happy to have beaten his Metaknight in one of them, and I was really starting to feel it in the later games getting a little closer.

Sorry about the first match Daisydog, I had a phone call. To your credit it didn't come till I was at 100% damage and you only had like 14%.
 
Are most people using Wavebirds?

I just realized today my router, telephone and my wavebird all run on 2.4GHz. No wonder why this games online has been pissing me off so much. Looks like I might run out and buy a new wired controller and disconnect old phone and see if the choppy lag goes away.
