Is there such thing as lag or wireless interference that doesn't let you shield and roll during those FFA you might have seen me shield and not move.
When my controller kept running me to the right I couldn't roll anymore. I could never fix it so I just use a different one now. It was my favorite controller too

It's my only gamecube controller (wavebird)
Also I can't believe how much I couldn't move in our last match Izzy  It was like Peach's dress was stapled to the floor.
Woah, you guys are murdering me.
It makes for good practice, though.
Don't worry about that. Once you get whipped enough. You gain psycho powers and could read your opponents thoughts. What kinds of controllers are people using? I especially want to know about those people that kind of whipping me.
Classic Controller on HDTV. I'm really thinking of getting a brand spankin' new GC controller, because sometimes I just stand there when I'm trying to roll, or sometimes I'll just stand there when I try to grab.
Nope, you would both have the same friend code and that would really screw up the online service.
Lame.
Have you tried deleting his Smash file(s) on his Wii, then transfering your file to an SD card, and then putting it on his Wii?
Shouldn't this work? k
It's not possible to copy to the SD card. The file is locked
You can't. We tried doing it the first night we got Brawl, but it won't transfer to the SD card. Have to do the work on his Wii all over again.
Yep, it's BS.
I think it sucks.
Supposedly, there is a way to do it, but I didn't want to spend any money buying the action-replay-like device / disc to copy the file over. I'm going to see if anyone has some other method (legit or not) because I find the situation to be total crap.
I used to use the remote and nunchuck, and I still find it quite usable with a few minor modifications. I started with it due to the fact that the rubber on the analogue stick on my only remaining GC controller is completely gone, and it hurts the thumb like all ing hell to use.
Am I the only one that uses Wii Remote + Nunchaku?
I used it off and on way back during the GameStop tournament because that was the only thing they allowed. It's a decent little setup once you get used to it, but I'm just too comfortable with the GameCube controller.
i use a cheap-o gamestop micro wireless on hdtv though i bought an unopened wavebird in a massive second by second bid on ebay. im a bit ashamed at the price i won it for so lets hope its worth it lol
Finally, after some research, I was able to make a back up of my save file without modifying my console. I'm going to take it over to my nephew's house. Supposedly, if both players get online with the same file, then the first person who logged in will get kicked off. I really don't care because originally I wanted to have the save file for my nephew. He never plays Wii online. Also, it's nice to have a back up of my own Wii save on my PC.
Well, DMK just left. We played about four hours worth of Smash last night. The first part of the night, I think he was sucking and I was doing great, then after a while it sort of reversed. I won several games with various members of the quartet, but the majority of the games were won by DMK.
To my surprise, the King kept up pretty well with Meta Knight. I won a few games, and I even pulled off a Regicide on MK, bringing it to sudden death
I lost, but it was still so sweet
! But like I said, after about two hours, I completely faded whereas DMK only improved. So, those later matches weren't as close.
Against G&W, dear God. I couldn't avoid that Up-Smash if my life depended on it - I kept spot-dodging the charge up portion. Seriously, DMK could make a montage of at least two minutes of just Up-Smash kills.
And yes, he did record them. They should be popping up on the internet once he gets home from PAX.
