hit me for a few games. i just got a hrap3.

has all the details on the sf4 te sticks been released?
 
I must be the worst person on this game that actually knows the moves of one of the characters (Ryu.) I played my first 10 ranked scoreboard games this afternoon, and lost all 10 of them. I only got to the 3rd round once.

Well I'm like 3-20 now after some play last night. Why can't the standings update after each match? How long does it take to update?

Are CAG nights still existant for this game? I wouldn't mind taking the CAG nights over. The times for the CAG nights yield fewer and fewer players every week.

If evergoo doesn't mind (or doesn't reply in this thread for a while), I'll make a new thread and try to come up with a better time for CAG nights. Might have to do some polling though.

Also, it seems no one uses mic in this game despite having one. Oh well...

I don't mind if you take over and start a new thread. Besides being busy with a huge backlog and life in general, my organization for CAG nights has dwindled due to this game's online matchmaking process.

After a few weeks of trying to organize the nights, I was quite disappointed at how this game didn't implement an online lobby system for PSN friends. It's a nuisance going in and out of XMB to see who's actually playing this game and then having to gather them together. I would also suggest organizing Quarter Match Mode instead of Tournament Mode for CAG Nights since it's really difficult to have people waiting for a tournament.

Having hosted a few CAG Smash Bros. tournaments, I must say that interest for this game will skyrocket if someone were to host a large-scale SF2 tournament (16 or more). Then, hopefully, CAG's SF2 scene might establish some regularity.

P.S. I am also sad that no one uses voicechat. So many headsets yet no one to talk to. :whistle2:(

EDIT: Friends List updated. This probably won't be updated again for awhile.

Thanks for the quick reply evergoo. Sometime, maybe this week, I'll have a new thread and transfer the information.

I know it's probably a bad time to be doing this with Street Fighter IV coming out, but I feel it's better to go ahead and do it anyway since this is such an awesome game that can definitely be enjoyed by CAGs together.

I was thinking of having a poll to see which day would be best (with whatever is left from the other CAG game nights. Hopefully I can at least reserve a weekly 2 hour slot that's good for most.

I too wish there was an easier more friendly wayy to deal with invites, but all we can do is hope. Unfortunately, I don't think the patch is coming out in the near future.

Overall, I was thinking of getting rid of Tournaments and setting them aside for special occasions when I can get people to actually post and sign up. Quarter Match is definitely the way to go.

If by any chance we get more than 6 regulars including me, I'd have to delegate a sub admin to hold a secondary room, or we could try tournament. But this most likely won't be the case with the amount of people so far.

Hopefully Saturday and Sundays are just bad days for most CAGs. I'd really love to revive this CAG night.
 
I just downloaded this game yesterday and was wondering what controller you are all using to play this? The sixaxis isn't necessarily bad, but I'm looking for a controller designed for fighting games.
 
Right now, I'm using a Sixaxis/DS3, but usually I'd use an arcade stick to play fighting games.

I know it's a bad time with Street Fighter 4 coming out today and tomorrow, but this game is too good to not have a CAG night for.

If you previously signed up in this thread, just post ACTIVATE in the new thread to be placed on the ACTIVE roster. If you're new to sign up, just post your CAG name and PSN ID as usual.
