GfW title (doubt if it has achievements but I haven't heard), coming out the same time as the other versions. When you have some ports coming out for $60 and this one is half price, you wonder what is going on, but its probably worth pre-ordering in case the price changes.

The original didn't even have a PC version until the Sith Edition and they it was supposedly a crappy port.

Yea, but when this shows up in the Latests Forum Posts or Popular Forum Posts on the front page the icon doesn't show. That's why folks like me drop into something that seems misleading.
 
Uhh, see that Windows logo in the title? I kind of expected this response. And guys that don't get the logo on mobile or click from the front page or whatever--then maybe you might click on a few topics you don't care about. Take it up with Cheapy. Besides, maybe if you can get a new PC game for half the price of the console versions you might want to know that regardless since it is so rare? I'll be the first one to get console anyway if the PC version sucks. But I probably won't buy it at launch without the $30 price point or some other Amazon launch discount.

I'll potentially wait for the collectors version to drop big time and maybe pick that up on the console as well.

I don't think this port is being done by the same company. Its easy enough to cancel if the previews scream crappy port. Otherwise, I'll hope for 3D Vision support and graphics that could potentially blow away the console versions.
 
While the port definitely wasn't the best, I'll give this a shot. I've not had a single problem with the PC version of the first one but I know a few that do.

Forced Unleashed was a bad port, but for the most part PCs rape consoles so hard that it isn't even worth debating.
 
Yeah, I am with 80 percent of the rest of the post in this thread. Got here by way of popular forum post. Not sure why the OP is against putting PC in the title to save some of us the time.

So, instead of you taking 2 seconds out of your day to help others out, you're going to be an arrogant donkey and tell people to deal with the fact you won't put PC in the title? :applause:
 
Maybe you guys could give the guy some slack. He's trying to be helpful and posted a deal WITH a Windows logo. Seems reasonable to me you can either thank him or just move on, instead of nearly EVERY post bitching about what he did or didn't do. It's amazing anyone tries to help anyone with attitudes like these. :(
 
Thanks for the find. Awesome deal! I can't believe it's so cheap even for PC. I love that Amazon has that low price guarantee. I missed the first one as it was ported a year later to PC. Hmmm... Maybe I can find it cheap on PC now.

This. Even if it wasnt there I knew there had to be a catch. Good deal but my PC doesnt play games so I wont be ordering.

I admit I was bitching, but more about his attitude than the fact that it didn't have PC in the title. Many others simply pointed out (pretty politely, in fact) that the OP should put PC in the title. He's the one that pulled attitude saying "I kind of expected this". If he expected it, it would've been easier on everyone just to put PC in the title in the first place. :)

As for the deal, nice price, but I *never* order a PC game without knowing ahead of time what DRM is going to be used. LucasArts is terrible at punishing their paying customers with draconian DRM.

Hey idiot, if you read through the thread you would see that this is showing up on the latest post and most popular post on the front page which doesnt show the little symbol. Learn how to read before you attack others.

Ok jerk, show me the console threads that list the console type in every title. It isn't there. Didn't deserve a response, but you called me names. Wah.

Besides that, what world do you live on you think a launch price of a console version of a AAA licensed title is going to be $30? That was your first clue. And it was a big one.

I don't even use that to view threads usually. Seriously, if that is how you decide what threads to open that is up to you. And then you open some you don't like. Again, take it up with Cheapy.
 
Ugh, I clicked on this thread twice now forgetting the disappointment from the first time I clicked it. I got rather excited after reading the OXM article on it.

Starkiller is dead, but Vader made a clone of him. You play as the clone, and a defective one at that.
 
Nice price, but cannot trust PC ports nowadays. I'll wait until its out (and discounted on Steam)

The first game was pretty good. It was short though. I powered through it quickly. Also, for a game called Force Unleashed, I really didn't see a whole bunch of things that just made me feel like I was just devastating everything. I know there were a lot of people that had problems with the PC port but I didn't. I was little meh about the locked 30 fps but I didn't really notice a huge difference myself.

When did I ever say I thought you were talking about a console title? I just took issue with your attitude towards those asking (politely) for you to put PC in the title. That's it. Again, you could've just put it in the title and been done with it, but you just keep arguing.
 
I just wasted 1 minute of my life loading this page in my mobile phone.....only to find out its PC only, put PC in the title as a favor for people who visit CAG in their mobile devices.

Hmm...tempting. I may preorder, but I want to know about the DRM situation before buying.

Weird! It recommended I get Fable 3 for PC. $50...I'd probably rather have that on PC, just weird that the second one was only released on Xbox.

Yeah, those are both things I will want to know before I let Amazon pull the trigger, but I'm exactly the same way, it looks like a mistake, so I locked it in.
