Are those pro-sovereignty advocates still trying to "free Hawaii from the tyranny of the U.S."? I was born and grew up in Oahu and moved from there in 2002. I remember a Waimanlo-based pro-sovereignty group for most of my years in Kailua and just think it's ridiculous. Other than shutting up those few, it would do no good for Hawaii.
