As some kind person on ebay kindly pointed out to me today through my BIN auction for this guide book (called me nuts) Amazon now has the out of print Tales of Vesperia guide available again (possible reprint) for $14.99 (ships in 7-9 days)

People were selling this guide for $100-$150 or so on ebay and Amazon (why I got called nuts I guess). So if you want one, you can't go wrong with $14.99. If this is a repost then I apologize, I'm nuts what do you expect.

told em these were gifts for the kids (that i don't have) and how it's ridiculous amazon would make such a mistake. Now I will have to search for a last min gift for them....got a $10 "we're sorry" credit an hour later :bouncy:
 
Man I loved ToV but that game had the most confusing sidequests of any RPG I have played. You would randomly have to revisit places and talk to some NPC during specific points in the game or you would completely miss your opportunity for completing a quest i.e. Judith's ultimate weapon. You literally can not get all the clothing items or ultimate weapons without using a guide. I have no clue how the people who wrote the guide even figured out half of those quests. Anyhow, sorry you guys didn't get your guides, sucks that amazon put them back on there only to take them off later.
 
yea i have to agree tales is one of the few games you actually need a guide for. i missed alot of good cutscene, sidquest, and skills because i forgot to visit a certain area.

I had one up on Amazon for $60 bucks. It was up for months. As soon as people got theirs canceled, it sold. So I guess someone just gave up and bit the bullet. haha

Actually the guide pretty good. It had a great bestiary, and item appendixs. The only thing it was bad on was side Quests. But it's bestiary, and item indexs were way above par. It is a good guide that gets more slack then it deserves.

I nearly did. In a way, I'm glad this was a fluke. My copy retains some value now.

Did the same thing, except I said it was for a birthday present for my brother(have the brother unfortunately, just not his birthday:whistle2:$) They just replied to my complaint, only got a $5 credit. Better than nothing I guess, still would have preferred the guide though. My brother was looking forward to it.

Pretty much same here I only got a $5 dollar credit, would have liked the $10 but the $5 will help with the Super Mario Galaxy 2 pre-order
 
Glad I was able to get two copies of the Tales of Vesperia guide last year at Best Buy for a penny. :razz:

Didn't know that it went for that much.
