CAGiversary!
So last year it was fake, but now it's true. Tales of Vesperia is no longer an Xbox 360 exclusive (Like we all knew it would be), and it'll hit the Playstation 3 in Japan later this year.

Some details of the Announcement
- New Character: Patty Fleur (She's a Pirate)
- Tales of Vesperia movie was also announced

To see scans, and report Mana Knight for having too many Avatars, see his post here:

Eh, looks fake. Kind of like someone just slapped the PS3 logo to the front of the trailer.

Although I don't doubt there is a PS3 version in the mix, this seems a little bit to early for an announcement.
What's the current status of Star Ocean 4? Timed exclusive or exclusive-exclusive?
Exclusive as of now.

ToV WILL come to PS3 one day, no doubt (whether it comes stateside is another story, like ToS on GC to PS2).

But the trailer sure looks fake to me.

If it comes out for the PS3 with extra shit like with Eternal Sonata, I'm gonna kill.
Just bought a 360 so I can buy Tales of Vesperia. Now it's not getting much use since most of my games are for the PS3 still.

What, Namco realize that they're wasting money on the 360 now? With that astounding 129k sold they have to wise up to the fact that even if a large percentage of Japanese 360 owners do buy the game, they'll still never have that much sales. US isn't going to help much either since the Tales of series makes 90% of its profits in its home country.

Eternal Sonata for ps3 barely sold 10k.. so yeah.. I dont see them porting over anymore titles a year later.. plus TOV didn't do that well for 360 either.

I call shenanigans on this. You're using the SEGA FACTOR which Namco doesn't have. The only games that sold this badly were Sega Dreamcast games unfortunately.

I'd say that Namco is going to start porting to both systems simply because they realize that they won't get much sales for Jrpgs in Japan so they'll need the PS3 for that while they'll need the 360 sales from the US.

Forget ToV, where's my mofoing Ace Combat 6 on PS3, Namco? I need my analog yaw.

I can't believe it's still full price on 360, too.

That's the "Namco Bandai Editors' Day 08: Trailer" from the Xbox 360, with a PS3 logo slapped on the beginning. Just search and you'll find the same trailer minus the PS3 logo from many months ago.

True.. but now it has a ps3 logo.. making it that much better.

Oh I'm pretty sure a large majority of these JRPGs will come to the PS3. Look at Eternal Sonata for example.

Since these JRPGs are single player, not online, I can wait to play them on the PS3 where I can play with a quiet system and not worry about the system dying on me.

Besides, plenty of other things to buy and play this season on every system.

Considering Vesperia in America sold less than 40k copies may not lead to a better result.

Okay, the video is fake. But it's only a matter of time given Scamco's tendencies.
Why? Don't you want other people to experience it too?
It's not that, it's only because I bought an Xbox 360 to play it... I'm a huge fan of the Tales games, you see. :(
If it were to come out on PS3, I wouldn't have bought the 360 to begin with.

All right, let's see if this is real this time (Yeah, I KNOW its April Fools, but I've seen this around multiple sites):

Tales of Graces - Wii - 2009
- I think the designs are by Inomata
- The main character is Aspel Lant or something
- The theme of the game is protecting people, and the main character doesn't want to lose anyone ever again

Tales of VS - PSP - 2009
- Dissidia style 3D versus action fighter
- 4 players versus
- Yuri (ToV), Luke (TotA), Shing (ToH) and Rihita (ToSKoR) are shown

Tales of Vesperia - PS3 - 2009
- New character pirate loli girl, Patty Fleur
- The ToV anime movie is also revealed officially

Comes from Jump Blowout thread on GAF.

Yes, I know what day it is, but I've seen it around a few places, like the GAF Jump blowout thread.

Here is the proof:

She, but yes, I meant Lost Odyssey.
well this looks like a more impressive upgrade than eternal sonata Ps3
It also helps that Vesperia probably isn't a total piece of shit like Eternal Sonata.

lol, agreed.
Oh you know, it's glaring flaws. That said I tend to love JRPG's so I easily forgave them and liked ES...
Same, I thought Eternal Sonata was good.
That little Pirate girl reminds me of Chat from Tales of Destiny II (Eternia).

I'm now even more glad I never made it to the end of Eternia.
