Has anyone seen any deals on Tales of Vesperia? I know there was a Meijer deal awhile back, but all my local Meijer stores were sold out. Has anyone seen any other Tales of Vesperia deals?

EDIT: I also know the Limited Edition or Collector's Edition is going for stupid money. I'm not interested in that. I just want the regular edition of the game.
 
i believe it might be dead, but there was a price drop on ToV for 29.99 and 24.99 new and used respectively at gamecrazy. But I believe they might have jacked the prices back up.
 
Well, Vesperia was recently announced it was going to get ported to the PS3 with additional characters and quests and whatnot...maybe wait for PS3 version?

Note: This game was what tipped the scale to getting an XBox and I actually bought it at launch...and am REALLY P-'ed off...damn "XBox exclusives"...oh wellz. Too late now. Great game, however...but an extra character would've been much appreciated.
 
I got mine off Gamefly for almost 40 bucks used for Xbox 360. On eBay they've been going for around 40 dollars consistently. If you do have a Ps3, I'd wait for that one because of the extra character and expanded story quests.
 
The 360 game is out of print (both versions) so used from $40-$55 (EBay/Craigslist/AM Marketplace/Gamestop/Game Crazy) is your best bet if you want to play it now vs. waiting until next year for localization on PS3.

The Game Crazy deal only ended up being 1 weekend so yeah that's dead.
 
I'll wait and see when the PS3 version comes out if there is a significant price drop in the secondary market on the 360 version as some people drop one for the other. Seems like 360 Eternal Sonata used prices dropped hard when the PS3 version arrived. If so, I'll snag the 360 version. If not, I'll wait for the PS3 version to drop.

I remembering reading about the Gamecrazy sale, but all the Hollywood Video stores in Indy closed awhile ago and I don't think I've actually ever seen a free standing Gamecrazy.

Theres an article from yesterday that some kids went into the coding and proved that the new character Patty the Pirate is actually in the 360 version.. so maybe some DLC for the 360 is also on the way..

How much is the collectors version going for anyway

Around $100 new and $70 used... but I think prices should drop as a lot of listings for it are popping up now.
