I'm just shocked by the way Martin has been acting about this. It just seems like he never took it seriously, and it looks like he'll lose because of that. I for one want the Marajuana party in power, but those potheads have no idea what they're doing.

Sorry, must've worded it in a confusing way. I'm angry that The Simpsons (and all the Fox animation for that matter... and War at Home) wasn't on for two weeks in a row- 24 last week, football this week.

We didn't even get KotH here (east coast).

You don't get it. The NFL is great, but the NFL on Fox rapes the sunday night lineup so much when it's that it's great to see it leave for another 7-8 months. It's the devil.

I could care less about the Sunday lineup. Most of those cartoons and shows were lame ages ago. Last year when AD was on sundays it was ok, but all the stuff they have on now is garbage.

NFL on Fox is a murderous show, it's killed before and it will kill again. Ignoring the problem only means it'll do more damage next time.

This rain won't stop. Seriously. It's been going since like.. noon. The county below us is flooding, some houses have water in them. There's about three to four inches here and it won't stop for another three or four hours.

I'm going to be seriously, seriously pissed if I have to drive to class in this shit. Anyone that lives in Middle TN knows that the drainage on the roads absolutely SUCKS. Standing water everywhere.

We'll take it. We've had absolutely NO moisture since, like, October, and then it was just a little bit of snow. I hate this fucking dry, hot weather. :bomb:
 
What? Racing!

Fox is the worst coverage for NASCAR ever in the history of coverage. ESPN years ago was great and finally we get RPM 2 Night back. NBC is by father the best of the two big wigs and wish there wasnt a split broadcast every year.

Fox doesn't show a lot of the extras that NBC does on TNT, but I hate the NBC announce team with a passion. BP and his fucking 12.99 100 dollar offer drove me nuts all season and any time he talks that is all I can think of.

I looked at it as HOW people did the joke...it showed what thier thinking pattern was, as well as how free form they could get. Some had stuff set aside for the joke (or actually taken from another joke), while others (Bob Sagat, Sarah Silverman) went off the cuff and had fun with it. It is a movie about a single joke, but it's also about the Comic craft.... something I wish I had started earlier, with the intent of not having a life otherwise. At least I still deal with some form of the word "comic"...

I feel yeah but I am the opposite. I can't take Fox and there stupid ass tricks. They just don't even cover what is happening half the time. But both of the sides have very weak points. They need to go back to the ESPN days with Ned Jarret and the crew. I have a problem with all the TNT bullshit because I don't have cable.

Yeah, Bob Saget's was probably my favorite. The guy who told the story using cards was probably my 2nd favorite.

That's pretty much the exact same opinion I have as well. I absolutely despise Wally Dalenbach. The guy acts like he's an expert race car driver yet, HE RARELY EVEN FINISHES THE BUSCH RACES HE ENTERS! The guy sucks at racing and announcing.

I think the problem with the NBC announce team is that half the time it seems like they aren't even watching the race as they announce it!

See, if you had NBC's coverage combined with FOX's announcers then you'd have it made.

If your interested in movies about the "comic/comedian craft" then I'd highly suggest the Jerry Seinfeld documentary "Comedian". Its not only fun to watch but it is also VERY interesting and informative. I really had no idea what stand up comedy was all about until I watched it.
