Any chance it shows which game cards? They were doing it in store recently and it included some stuff I wasn't expecting but I'm hoping for Google play.
 
I am guessing the B1G1 25% off the game cards running this week is in store only, since it only takes 5% off and then another 5% if using the redcard?

 
Works out to 12.5% off each card, which is a luke warm deal at best on PSN. There tend to be deeper discounts out there unless you need it now.

Last year, I was able to get a store manager to honor Google Play cards with this deal since they were on the same shelf as the others in electronics. I was nice and respectful about it which is why I think she went ahead and did it. I need Google Play cards again but I don't feel like going through the headache of trying it again.

Yeah, this is the first year in a while that there have been decent Google Play game sales especially on the Shield TV compatible games that are usually overpriced ports from consoles and Steam. I might still ask if they'll honor it. Depending upon which employee you get, they might be willing to do it on the 26th just to keep the damn line moving. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Coincidentally i bought a target gift card and a starbucks gift card this morning, it gave me 5% off one of these but doesnt tell me which one. Not sure which got it.

Target does not give 5% off their own gift cards.
 
If you do the gift card offer, make sure the cashier activates them. I bought 8 Steam and PSN gift cards and they only activated 1.
 
Heads up, this deal is live today, and it doesn’t look like it applies to Nintendo eShop cards, at least not today.
 
I don't envy anyone going out to shop at brick and mortar stores today. People act like idiots in stores on Christmas Eve. Be safe, everyone.

I put two $20 psn cards in my cart, added target red card and it only gave me a $3.90 discount...less than 10%. How do you get the extra 5%? That would have made it almost as good as the in store deal.
 
Wondering if target caries the XBL holiday pack w/ 3 x $15 + $5 which is really $45 for $50. If so that would make the B1G1 25 % off worth 21.25% off total (much better than 12.5%) as $100 in credit would cost $78.75.

Did not see it online.

You did. It's multiplicative, not additive. Where else did you think you got that extra $1.90 off from?

 
Also Xbox Gift Cards are on sale on Samsung Pay again with 15% off $50. So $42.50 for $50. I'm thinking of seeing if my Target has those holiday packs you guys are talking about though.
 
I bought a pair of $25 PSN cards two days ago when the gift card deal was first active last week. One of the cards was activated properly, but the second one wasn't. The Target employee properly did whatever activating Target does to the PSN cards, but it turns out Target buys PSN gift cards in bulk from some seller, and they didn't properly activate a batch of cards they sold Target. I found that out when I called Playstation customer service about the card. The customer service rep told me a few people recently called about cards from Target.

The Playstation rep sent me an e-mail, and asked me to reply with photos of my receipt and the front and back of the gift card. He said it would take two days for me to get the credit, and two days later they applied the credit directly to my PSN account.

It was resolved nicely. I still got the credit in time for the flash sale. It's probably not something everyone will have to worry about, but if you do get one of these bum cards Playstation customer service can sort it out. Just be sure to hold on to the card and your receipt.

 
I'm not seeing eshop cards online. Only email delivery. I tried 2 $10 cards and it's still showing $20 at checkout. Am I missing something?

Xbox One S consoles went back to full price in stores. Would have to PM+Cartwheel which as you know is YMMV. I might just try it though.

Me either, I’m thinking the ad forgot to mention in Store only..
it says doesn’t work for full game downloads, but doesn’t it show 2k18?
 
My local Target didnt have Eshop cards last week, so I could only get PSN cards. Went back today and they had restocked every kind of card. Today was the first day in awhile it wasn't freezing out, so I walked there to buy 120 dollars worth of eshop credit for 99 dollars and on the way I found 100 dollars along the road. Twas a good walk.

FYI: I checked several roads around my area and could not replicate this deal.
