The following is all jacked from jimijumper's "The Bona-Fide Target Clearance Thread XX IS NOW CLOSED!!!" thread linked below

Previous thread:

Target clearance is YMMV
Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction. Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 70% or 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, DCPI # and online item # in RED!!!

For example:

$4.98
123-45-6789 Random Game Name #12345678

DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself.

DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI #'s or Online Item #'s that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

New link to search for items using Target's online item #:

Find In Store

You can also take the DPCI # and search on Target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there.

(HUGE PROPS TO mitch079 FOR GETTING US THIS USEFUL INFO!!!)

If you are having trouble with the above search here are more detailed directions:

Take the DPCI #s and search on target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there. If there isn't an exact match, try googling Target and the DPCI #. For instance, on the 500 gb Seagate hard drive, it doesn't show up on the site. Google shows the online # as 13730271. Then, you can plug the online # in http://m.target.com/fiats/t- and put the online number after the - so the link would be: http://m.target.com/fiats/t-13730271. Hit enter, plug in your zip and it should work.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing in-store as often price tags will not be correct:

1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to BigDirty for that^

I am starting off this new thread going back toOctober 1st, 2012 February 2013.
Please refer to the prior thread for any items before then.

Haters gonna hate!

Rang up as $100 but I had a ton of stuff in the cart and the lady's line was backing up.  So she did not even question the difference in price and just manually put in.

Thanks for posting the information, guys!

One more thing, this was in Cincinnati and it was the only one I found.

if they didnt bother to remove the clearance sticker they have to give it to you for the price, it doesnt matter what other stuff they were ringing up.

Picked up NASCAR '14 on PS3 for $14.98 at the Rivergate Target in Goodlettsville, TN.

Really surprised to find a game that has been out less than a month already 70% off.

Not sure if I will keep it or not, haven't played a NASCAR game since the EA monopoly days on PS2.

Checking reviews on youtube and online and they seem pretty mixed.

Went to the Hendersonville Target and they had no games clearanced, but did have NASCAR '14 for the MSRP of $49.99.

Thought about a return for credit at that point. :)

Oooh I'd buy Nascar 14 for that price if on Xbox360.

None of the Nascar games are perfect. And it's frustrating as a fan because it doesn't seem like it should be that hard to make it right.

Epic Mickey 3DS for $10

You guys who live in the Midwest & east coast are lucky. Here in SoCal I stopped finding deals on games years ago. I don't know if everyone is just buying them at 15% off or if they even mark them down at all anymore

That's what happens when you live in a big city state. Luckily I live in the "city" but nothing compared to NY or LA (I live 10 minutes away from Atlanta which is not much of a city).

Here's to hoping Ghost's drops somewhere this week. Doubt it. Will try to get 2 and trade to BB. $90 TIV is great! Does Ghost come with any DLC codes?

Didn't know or care about the 7 day xbox live card, I have at least 20 and about 3 years in cards, and I have a uber cool store unlike some of the shit holes thats other folks have to deal with. I was actually concerned about a possible trading ban as I had not traded in some time. So no harm no foul.

Saw Xbone/360 Ghosts download combo for 30% off. Wonder if the cartwheel coupon would apply?
My local store clearanced those out a LONG time ago about 2 months. I was fortunate enough for someone to "find" one in the back (guess it was an employees stash) marked for the low low price of 19.xx. Turned around and traded my hard copy to BBY for $40 and it will come in handy now as Titanfall has got me to buy a One.

My target had the first skylanders adventure packs for $14. Picked up the dragons peak pack for my son since he's been begging me to find sunburn for him. I know it's not the greatest price but didn't want to risk someone else buying it before the next drop.

Jelly.

Got a couple New Balance fitness watches for $30 each (normally $60), a Mario Knex thing for $18 (normally $60 I think), and a Nalgene bottle for $7 today.
Did you test out the watch yet? I saw them the other day and was curious. My store only had them in lime green though.

Yeah I got Lime Green and some form of pink in case someone I know wants it. Can't find much info on it so going to check it out in a little bit and will report back.

OK, early watch impressions: It's fairly basic. Didn't realize it wasn't bluetooth like the other one that they had for $30. While simple the controls are actually kind of complex but I'm sure I'll get them down over time. The band isn't too bad but at least while new it's very tough getting the little knobs in and out. The LCD is sharp and almost looks like it's glowing when the light hits it but it's set oddly deep in the watch. This casts shadows on it and when the light's not hitting it the display is hard to read (indoors at night so probably better outside) and the indiglo is pretty weak. The heart rate monitor is pretty cool. Not sure if the pedometer is working right, going to have to wear it in conjunction with the Wii Fit meter and see.

It's going to be interesting to see what it actually does during a workout. Especially since I can't really do a lot of running (bad knees) and these sorts of things can be kind of weird about measuring biking. My bike trainer I just ordered from Amazon should be here Thursday so hopefully will be able to get it set up and tested out then.

The lack of connectivity was disappointing at first but the overall product seems better than the one with it. Even more so because apparently that one only works with iPhone. Doesn't seem too bad for a simple starter sort of device and going to give it a week or two before deciding whether to keep it or not. Still better than dropping $150 on a name brand one to find out I won't end up using it and most of those apparently are iOS only too for whatever reason.

If it works right though I think that it could be a decent compliment to fitness tracking even if it's not a complete solution.

Is Skyward Sword still $20?  I'll be passing a store today that showed 15-20 in stock a couple weeks ago.

Also the used games, if your Target stocks them, are on sale for $10 this week.

My store NEVER has anything anymore except for really old shovelware that's still overpriced even at "clearance".  But this week I actually stumbled across a really good deal:

Lightning Returns: FFXIII - PS3 - Steelbook case - clearanced to $41.98

Not surprising iOS only.

Go to any store that sells electronics accessories (BBY, Target, WM, ect) I can near guarantee you that at least 75% of the retail space is devoted to Apple products. As an Android user I find this very frustrating and also a bit insulting that so little is thought of Android phones of which there is much more variety many of which are as good or better than those precocious iPhones.

tell Android phones to sell better then.

Retail stocks what sells, it's not personal.

Any long time mac user will tell you that this shit has been happening to us since the beginning of the personal computer age. It's just the way it is. Stores aren't trying to insult you.

Really android phones sell fine (they're like half the US market and some obscene percentage of the worldwide market purportedly), but you're still right. 1.) there's just so many different ones that it'd be ludicrous to try and stock anything for them, it'd be a whole department and 2.) I'll bet (anecdotally speaking) accessories for iphones sell way more and are way more profitable than any android accessories ever could be. Some kids (and probably adults) will buy 5+ different cases for their iphones just so it can have different styles. Android phones haven't managed anything close to that status symbolesque stature.

Saw vita starter kits (case, cloth, 4gb memory card) hit the clearance cycle next to the 3ds cradles. Still no games poking their head out of the sand.

Well there are more Android phones in use than Apple phones. So I get why a lot of stuff, sadly, doesn't support WP but there's no excuse for as much stuff as is iOS only.

So far the step count is reasonably close to the Wii Fit Meter which is better than expected. A little weird that it doesn't seem to count in real time but like adds them in chunks when you've stopped.

Which is super dumb because Android phones have a much larger market share than iCrap. But since the iCultists love to throw away their money on things so recklessly, it isn't surprising that companies will make whatever worthless trinket they can to get them to buy.
