The following is all jacked from jimijumper's "The Bona-Fide Target Clearance Thread XX IS NOW CLOSED!!!" thread linked below

Previous thread:

XX

Target clearance is YMMV
Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction. Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 70% or 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, DCPI # and online item # in RED!!!

For example:

$4.98
123-45-6789 Random Game Name #12345678

DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself.

DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI #'s or Online Item #'s that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

New link to search for items using Target's online item #:

Find In Store

You can also take the DPCI # and search on Target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there.

(HUGE PROPS TO mitch079 FOR GETTING US THIS USEFUL INFO!!!)

If you are having trouble with the above search here are more detailed directions:

Take the DPCI #s and search on target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there. If there isn't an exact match, try googling Target and the DPCI #. For instance, on the 500 gb Seagate hard drive, it doesn't show up on the site. Google shows the online # as 13730271. Then, you can plug the online # in http://m.target.com/fiats/t- and put the online number after the - so the link would be: http://m.target.com/fiats/t-13730271. Hit enter, plug in your zip and it should work.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing in-store as often price tags will not be correct:

1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to BigDirty for that^

I am starting off this new thread going back toOctober 1st, 2012 February 2013.
Please refer to the prior thread for any items before then.

Which is super dumb because Android phones have a much larger market share than iCrap. But since the iCultists love to throw away their money on things so recklessly, it isn't surprising that companies will make whatever worthless trinket they can to get them to buy.
so much hate. You know it's ok to like one thing without hating on another. "iCrap" and "iCultists"? grow up.

as handsomepete said, it's just a matter of high amount of different android phones. With the iPhone, you have basically 2 generations you have to stock. It's just business.

Going directly from what you said 2 generations is 2 models should NOT equal getting 70%+ of retail space dedicated to mobile phones when the largest competitor (Android) actually has more than 1 model available as a flagship at a time.

iPhone has generated what 8 models now? (1,2,3,4,4s,5,5c,5s). At a given time 2 models may be largely available. That shouldn't warrant that much retail space when Android actually gives you.....omg options! Something proprietary Apple doesn't believe in.

When I want a new case for my phone it shouldn't require me to pass 1.5 aisles of iPhone stuff to locate the end cap worth of space for Android phones of which there are SIGNIFICANTLY more available options.

I was at the Westwood store earlier and they have like 20 Gears of War Judgement for $19.98

Apparently includes original GOW Download Voucher as well

207 22 0762

Also if it was a CAger who hid COD:Ghosts at the Fox Hills mall. I found it and hid it somewhere YOU can't find it.

I saw something was taken off Target's website, but I remember it being available in some stores in my area. Does this mean it has gone on clearance?

Imagine it's some kid who's saving his allowance to get it and he's one week short.

I shouldn't have to wipe my own ass either, but these are just parts of life we come to terms with.
The way technology is advancing, you may be in luck sometime in the future (something much better than the toilet paper or water solutions out there now)...

Tch. Dammit. Well now I've made it my personal mission in life to find it and hide it again so that I can get it and you can't.

Lol. I don't want it. I grabbed one a month or so back at $19.99 in Van Nuys.

FYI. North Hollywood has about 6-8 copies at 49.98 or 39.98. I forget the price. Same DCPI

so much hate
All I'm saying is that the iPhone users need to to grow up then! Their incessant holier-than-thou elitist attitude really has to stop. Nothing makes their choice "better" than another but every single one I've ever met has their nose turned up to the world which turns everyone else against them. And that is the crux of the problem.

Who gives a shit? You realize none of that matters right? That's jr high school bs.

Found an :3ds: Epic Mickey in the clearance section. The sticker said $13.xx, but the price scanner told otherwise: $5.98. That was a nice surprise.

Edit: Also spotted some :wiiu: headphones with built-in microphone there, as well. I believe the price was also $13.xx, but didn't bother scanning them at the price checker.

Seen Sonic Racing Transformed for PS3 at mentioned price, case had the text at the top, bonus content included. Will just see if the game survives clearance a little longer, and see how low it goes. Also seen Defiance for 360, $13.98.

Saw this at the midtown Target on Libbie and Broad in Richmond. 2x Wii headsets, 2x Epic Mickey 3DS, and what I think were some XBox basketball games.

They may have just not put up the signs. Or the sale ended Friday or something?

Did you try scanning one?

And I'd pick up the NASCAR game for $15 if it was the 360 version.

I did not bother to scan, the PS3 copy of Dark Souls wasn't there anymore and I figured no sign, no go.

The Nascar game is a strange one- it was on clearance at 1 out of 4 stores I went to, was PS3 only (clearance that is 360 being full price) and was locked in the cage with the other games.

In the past week, I've seen two Targets selling Vitas for $180, and one selling them for $170 (although that one was out of stock).
Temporary Price Cut $179.99. Seem like Sony wanted to clear out the old PS Vita before New Slim hit the Shelves or Possible new PS Vita Price ????

Picked up a copy of Mario and Sonic at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics on Wii U for $14.98 today. I was surprised to see it at the 70% mark-off level. I figured someone surely would have picked it up sooner.

Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! X360  $11.97

If i don't like it, seeing the harsh reviews, i will trade it in to amazon for a few bucks profit.

I think a big part of the complaint is that it should have been a $10 game from the start.

I saw lords of shadow 2 in the case with a clearance sticker for 41.98 yesterday. Ymmv but this was in st Louis target on Hampton. Might be dropping quick keep an eye out

A few logitech items on clearance, forgot most of the prices (sorry)

Z506 (5.1 speakers) $79.99 --> $55.XX

Z313 (2.1 speakers)

webcams

wireless solar keyboard k750

Picked up 2k essentials For $5.98 at cool Springs Tennessee. It wasn't even with the clearance items it was on the shelf with the other games. Still one left.

These work really well with my PS4 and cell phone. I love the behind the head style, they are comfortable and everyone I've played with/talked to says I come over loud and clear. A great deal for $13 and below.

I didn't see any there or a price tag so not sure how good it is but there was a clearance tag over the shelf tag for Kirby Dream Collection. Something to keep an eye out for.
