The following is all jacked from jimijumper's "The Bona-Fide Target Clearance Thread XX IS NOW CLOSED!!!" thread linked below

Previous thread:

XX

Target clearance is YMMV
Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction. Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 70% or 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, DCPI # and online item # in RED!!!

For example:

$4.98
123-45-6789 Random Game Name #12345678

DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself.

DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI #'s or Online Item #'s that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

New link to search for items using Target's online item #:

Find In Store

You can also take the DPCI # and search on Target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there.

(HUGE PROPS TO mitch079 FOR GETTING US THIS USEFUL INFO!!!)

If you are having trouble with the above search here are more detailed directions:

Take the DPCI #s and search on target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there. If there isn't an exact match, try googling Target and the DPCI #. For instance, on the 500 gb Seagate hard drive, it doesn't show up on the site. Google shows the online # as 13730271. Then, you can plug the online # in http://m.target.com/fiats/t- and put the online number after the - so the link would be: http://m.target.com/fiats/t-13730271. Hit enter, plug in your zip and it should work.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing in-store as often price tags will not be correct:

1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to BigDirty for that^

I am starting off this new thread going back toOctober 1st, 2012 February 2013.
Please refer to the prior thread for any items before then.

Whaaa?

They were $1 to begin with!
Haha. Was it some type of game-related promo where you had to buy something to get them for $1? In the bin, they were tagged at $4.99 normal price, on a 50% clearance shelf, but they rang up for $1.50.

Edit: Just googled the $1 pac-man figures. My bad. These were different. Foil pouches, each containing 2 small figures and a stand. The K'Nex ones.

Stopped at Target today to pick up Game of Thrones blu and saw the 8GB Nook HD was on clearance at 50% off for $64.50.  DCPI is 057170061.  I'm betting this one started the cycle at 15% so 50% is probably the lowest it will go.  I picked one up.  If any Pittsburgh CAG's want one the Harmarville store had at least 3 left.

Netgear Neotv prime time with google tv $70(30% off) 008-06-1533

edit: candy was 70% off(signs said 50%)

Also saw three ps4s, should I make a thread about it?

Saw:
:360: Borderlands 2 Add-On Content Pack $20.98
:360: Sleeping Dogs $16.80

Best catch today; More ABBA Gold CD for $2.66!

My local Target (Burlington, NC) had a stack of Zelda: Skyward Swords on clearance today for $5.06 each.  There had to be at least 20 on the shelf.

So you bought them all to share with us?
I picked up four of them. Traded one at Best Buy (18.00) towards a Titanfall controller, and one at GameStop (28.00) towards Titanfall itself. I plan on stopping at a different GameStop after work today and putting another towards Thief.

Been to 3 Targets in the Pittsburgh area looking for dat $3.xx PS3 Dark Souls. Nothing but $19.99 everywhere.

My first Target find in quite some time, and first one good enough that I felt was worth of sharing.  (I know it is an online item, but still a good find!)

Tagged Price: $174.96

- 5% Pharmacy Rewards Card

- 5% Target Red Card

= $159.71

Zelda w/ CD also worked out to be $16

Not a bad afternoon!  Just wanted to share

(if the pictures look to big, let me know and I will adjust.)

Amazing deal, congrats!

I'm jealous of all these clearance finds.

I went to target today and they had absolutely zilch on clearance
I don't think I've found a thing gaming related in many months (of any worth that is) but the clothing sections are bursting with stuff right now and there's been good finds in lots of other departments as well. Good time of year to take the time to poke around the store and check all those areas you never wander into.

Ya, I got some sports bras pretty cheap, but I was all psyched for gaming deals. (I have a "little" bit of a gaming addiction)

I'm going to go to biglots tomorrow though, the one by my house never realizes what they have half the time so it should be promising.

Then you probably shouldn't be here. Run, run while you still can and don't look back... RUN!

Oops, too late for you now. Guess you're one of us, your permanent backlog/pile of unending shame will be installed between noon Tuesday and 6 PM August 2017.

Not to go too off topic but since the new year I've dumped 12-15 of my retail PS3 games and a couple WiiU ones to go digital with various sales and it makes me kind of sad to see the big empty chunk in my shelves.

Ya, the AWD page has been trouble for me, I bought 6 games this week >>;

I don't even want to think of my backlog pile, or should I say Mountain of Doom?

Or think of what will happen when my hubby finds out I got more games as he'll just point out my backlog as well. I guess that's what happens when you marry a non-gamer lol

Just checked my local Super Target here in Greenwood, In. They have like 5 copies of RE: Revelations on 360, but they are still $29.99.

A few days late to the party, but awesome find!

I find the "Over $165 in value" on the front of something that retails for $250 to be amusing. Clearly I know they mean the extras, but that's some poor phrasing...

Late to the party....did these go on clearance previously and I missed it? Shame on me if I did. This is the cheapest price I have come across new at retail to this point.

I am still using my launch 60gb PS3 without any issues whatsoever, but when I saw this and the price I could get it at, I wanted to snag it to give myself a few days to decide what I want to do. The games have decent trade/resell value, and I am trying to decide between keeping my 60gb backwards compatible system or this newer one. It is been probably 9ish months since I have loaded a PS2 game and haven't really used the backwards compatibility feature since...and may not again.

Either way, I look at it as though I will not lose money...just need to figure out which way I am going.

You are right though...the "$165 in value" is true based on the retail value of everything included at the time of release, but still could be worded differently

Oh no--I meant that I was late to the party since you posted a few days ago--no other clearance I've been aware of--I think they were on sale at Black Friday a few places for a similar price if I remember right, but that's all I know of. You should definitely keep it to have as a back-up if nothing else. That's a sweet find.

Didn't see any good clearance, but for the first time I found a quality game (Super Mario Galaxy 2) that wasn't shovelware or overpriced at $13 in the used section.

The Evesham, NJ store had Sleeping Dogs :360: at 30% off, a single copy of Arkham City :pc: for $5.06, and a few as-is'd Blu-rays:

Knight and Day $2.56
From Paris With Love $3.76
A View to a Kill $3.76
Haywire (+ slip) $5.06

I saw a bunch of Vita Start Kits on clearance in Culver City. I can't post DPCI since I didn't bother to take a picture. I believe it was $27 and change. Included 4GB Memory Card, Pocket Pouch, Protective Film, Card Case, Headphones, Cleaning Cloth

It is 207-00-0144. My store had it for $27.98.

They also had the DSi XL Starter Kit, 207-00-1022 for $17.48. Typical kit with car charger, extra styli, case, screen protectors, etc.

St. Charles, MO location had 2 of the Nikon D3100 camera kits for $424 down from $499.

Also had a Bose Sound dock 2 for $140 from $200 original price.
Cameras can go real decently low in price if someone doesn't buy it first. Seen the same camera kit at my local target for the same clearance price as well.

:3ds: Skylanders Giants Portal Owner's Pack $34.98

Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Empire of Ice Adventure Pack: Slam Bam, Empire of Ice, Anvil Rain, and Sky-Iron Shield $17.48

Wish I could find some of those adventure packs for the original Sklyanders discounted at some local store.  Only see them now online at regular or inflated prices.

Anyone with a lot of Target experience? I am using the DPCI number for TLOU PS3 bundle (207-23-0040) and I found a store that says they have 2 in stock. The rep couldn't "find" them and I talked with a manager that said they don't know where they are. My question is could it be possible that they never "updated" their system to say that they either sold or got rid of their systems, or are they just being lazy? I'd go myself but it's 40 minutes away and I don't want to drive all that way for nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

if you are referring to the LOU bundle from a page back that says online item then yes its in the system. that person just got it for that price because someone purchased it online and returned it in store. they usually give a big discount when online items are returned. If something is discontinued it stays in the system and can be sitting in the back room. just because something is discontinued doesnt mean they dont have it, it just means they wont be carrying it anymore. That bundle was a black friday bundle and i know at my store we still have like 30 in our back room discontinued.
