Target Clearance Thread XXII

EDIT: the cartwheel discount doesn't work automatically any of the level, team, or fun/starter packs unfortunately. Also had a bit of a challenging time getting customer service to scan the cartwheel app in conjunction with the pricematch on the starter pack, as they pointed out the line in some printout of what they allege to be the official policy (updated as of October 31st, according to them) which stated pricematch cannot be combined with cartwheel or target coupons. I countered this by debating that the large sign directly behind them stated simply "Maximize Your Savings with Competitive Price Matching, Cartwheel, and the Weekly Ad" and that the terms Maximize as well as the use of AND in place of OR didn't merely strongly imply that all of those tools could be combined, but that it clearly defined and laid out that it was expressly so. They capitulated the point as a one time courtesy at their discretion yadda yadda yadda so I managed to get it against the PS4 version.
Yeah, the target policy is no cartwheel for price matches.

Waits after xmas or new year for 70%. Target getting smart this year fot put out 30% off clearance on holiday toys and xmas tree, etc. Stop peoples holding off 50% - 70% off after x-mas and new year.

Yeah, the target policy is no cartwheel for price matches.
Indeed it is stated as so. Yet, the system allows pricematch and/or Target coupon and/or Cartwheel discount automagically.

Even more significant, in large bold printed signage in the Guest Services/Relations section of each and every Target store I've visited recently whether Super center, regular, or City Target, there is a sign that states only the following:

"Get the Lowest Price"

"Maximize savings with our Price Match Guarantee, Carthwheel and our Weekly Ad."

"Obtenga el precio mas bajo"

"Ahorre al maximo con nuestra garantia de igualacion de precious, Carthweel y nuestro aviso semenal"

The usage of MAXIMIZE as well as AND indicate that any or even all three of those methods can be combined in conjunction to maximize savings and, as stated clear as day, GET THE LOWEST PRICE.

In any case, I got the triple dip I was going for on this one. I didn't even bother with filler items outside of a Prima guide to Majora's Mask that was "as is" for $3.56, not bad given the original price indicated on the tag was $24.99 (though not as good as my usual target price on guides of 1-2 pennies a piece).

I used some of the 10% off giftcards I bought on Sunday (unfortunately that deal was only available this past Sunday), so that was a nice little bonus discount and cap to the deal trifecta. $41.99 before taking that into consideration, not too shabby on the Lego Dimensions Starter Pack, though I would have preferred to have been able to PM one of the $59.99 prices I believe it has been or even $49.99 I believe at Meijers (not that we have any of those within a thousand miles or two of here). I'm sure these starter packs will be sub $50 soon enough. Now to wait for a good price on the fun packs, team packs, level packs etc. because those current and recent sales still seem way too damn high. I believe they were previously discounted in a former cartwheel coupon, and I'm sure they will be again. Hopefully that will coincide with another choice pricematching opportunity.

I didn't realize target pennied guides out. Do all guides share the same dpci or is each guide a unique number? I will need to start monitoring these on brickseek if I can

Indeed, sorry.  They don't however other retailers still let some slip through the cracks on occasion.  But I figured this was a decent price for it.  There were another pair of them however they were tattered and torn up.

What's the DPCI of  The Crew  "Limited Edition" that is unlocking wild run?  PS4/XBOX..  I was only able to find vanilla and wild run versions of both gamse.

Found a :ps4: Tomb Raider Definitive copy for $10, since the DPCI for this game already gone from the store system, they slapped Thief barcode over the original barcode instead.

Grabbed a Moga pro power bluetooth controller for $30 today. Was mistagged as the hero version. I've been waiting to replace my original free pocket version from launch ever since I had a set of batteries leak and ruin it.

PS3 Move Bundle - Epic Mickey 2 - 50% off $124.XX

None anywhere within 50 miles of me in L.A. and surrounding areas.  Ah well I really don't need another.  Hopefully you are right though Gedemer, given the older bare bones 2DS clearance and now this report.  Anyone feeling up to checking the PSV console DPCIs or other system DPCIs?

EDIT:  Checked the 2 PSVita systems' (standalone and Borderlands Bundle) DPCIs, not on clearance at any stores nearby.

You can get Blu Ray players for $20 now, if you just plan to use this for Blu Ray, it's not worth it. Though, you could probably sell the move controllers, the game, and the camera, and make a little money back.

This may be impossible to find but a month ago I found Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City Special Edition new on clearance for $20. I think I may be the only one who liked that game :/

My sister went to Target today for Christmas stuffs clearance, those prices were 50% off but Brickseek still shown full price. I don't know if we can rely on Brickseek.
It's usually not accurate for this stuff. Guess I'll try to check early on then since it's supposed to get nasty and icy tomorrow.

Noticed some new games as part of this 100s of games clearance. Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition was $9.98, so was the Dishonored game of the year edition, Darksiders 2 for Wii U was $9.98 at my local store. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean was $9.98 also. I noticed some games that were $9.98 before, had suddenly dropped to $4.98, but mostly Wii and DS games. There was a Devil May Cry 4 and Dead Rising off the record two pack for Xbox 360 for $17.48. Some games that I could swear were marked $9.98 a week ago, had been bumped up to $14.98. Batman Arkham Origins with exclusive PS3 DLC was $9.98. Also, my Target had all six Star Wars films on Bluray in special edition steel books as "repackaged" for $12.48 each.

Those muffin tops are hilarious! Lol

Went to an out of the way Target that had an insane amount of games on clearance - but hardly any had price tags.  I grabbed anything I'd read on here and elsewhere and checked them - and they were mostly $40+... bummed me out.

New Cartwheel coupon today for 15% off clearance toys. It may work with toys to life figures, if you can find any on clearance, but that is YMMV. The coupon lasts until January 2nd.

I missed out that because I wasn't following this thread. I have enough consoles though, lol. We're all consoles on clearance and what were the prices?
It was all YMMV depends on what your store had but here's a list

Special Edition 3ds xl's consoles were $100 including
- Gold Zelda 3ds xl
- Blue Smash 3ds xl
- Green Yoshi 3ds xl
- Silver Mario/Luigi 3ds xl
Possibly some others I don't remember

Wii U consoles were $150 including
- regular 32gb w/ no games
- Zelda Windwaker 32gb

Xbox Ones were $200 or $250
- Madden Bundle $200
- Titanfall bundle w/kinect $250

Xbox 360 Call of Duty Holiday bundle was $125

Playstation Vita consoles were $100 including
- Regular Vita w/no games
- Assassins Creed Crystal white Vita bundle

Also Glacier White Playstation Gold Wireless headsets were $50.

Yea it was pretty crazy. Only PS3 and PS4 were not included.

And I JUST started to use the WiiU after it sat dormant on my shelf since then.
