Target Clearance Thread XXII

Found and got Resistance and Gravity Rush Vita for 7.48 each at my Target (Anderson, SC). Also saw both the light and dark Skylanders sets, grabbed the dark one to price check it and by the time I went back to grab the light set, it was gone. What the hell?!

Gravity Rush is only about 80 cents on the PSN until the 23rd. You may want to return it, and just buy the digital version.

Grabbed Terraria CE for $10 and got Anarchy Reigns ($3) for free.   Not sure how the free game works cause it wouldn't give me Sly for free.  Anyone know how the free games work??  Is it just random titles?

When you scan it it should show "special purchase" but not all the games are working even though they are apart of the promo. Have to get an override.

Yes. DPCI: 207-34-0577 I believe.
Yep, however I don't believe it's quite as limited as the PS3 version is (which is limited to an individually numbered 15,000 print run). It says "Special Edition" on the packaging...then again, VERY few stores are showing it in stock ($29.99) and all of 1 if they are. There's an XBone one as well (its DPCI is 207-32-0577, as expected) however there are even fewer stores showing this in stock than the PS4 one. Here's what they look like:

maxresdefault.jpg

There's also the X360 Limited Collector's Edition, however it doesn't look like Target carried it (at least, the DPCI you would expect it to be, 207-22-0577, doesn't match up to it). Gamestop has it New for $39.99 (or $18.99 used), but not a single store within 100 miles of L.A. has it...while plenty of Gamestop locations show the PS3 version new in stock, for $39.99.

My Target had all of the VITA games on clearance, ranging from $8-$20. Every single one. Is anybody else's Target like this? I'm worried that they are going to stop carrying the games. My Best Buy got rid of all of it's VITA games 5 months ago. Not that my Target had a huge selection to pick from. I can't remember them all, but Unit 13 was $8. Sly Cooper 4 was $10. PlayStation All Stars was $20 (Down from $40, the sticker said), the Jak and Daxter collection was around $15, Soul Sacrifice (the original, not Delta) was $10, the Resistance game was $8, and Lego Batman 2 was $19.98 with a whopping clearance savings of one penny.

Virtually company wide as far as I've seen online. However, I've seen some new PSV games still in the plastic prisons at MSRP, not on clearance...as well as the newer PSV system bundles.

I just looked at the unboxing for the next ten version, the pros it's a disc copy. However the extras are incredibly lame (stickers, patch & some picture card). The ps3 version is a digital code, but comes with a 2GB axe pick flashdrive, stickers and it's numbered and it's $20 cheaper. Even cheaper if you stack another promo game with it.

I don't know if this has been posted, but my target has the PS4 and PS3 editions of Wolfenstein New Order on clearance for $14.99.

Saw many copies of wolfenstein at all my area targets.
Also a great deal of vita games at one (ymmv)
Gravity rush
sly cooper
Jak trilogy
Soul sacrifice
Darkest dungeon
Little big planet
Smart as...
PlayStation all stars
Uncharted
Resistance

I grabbed jak. Picked up most of the others when bb blew em out 2 months ago.

I did see the walking dead season 2 at 70%. I left it since I can just get it from the library. Maybe if it rings up as b1g1, I would buy it, but it seems like they aren't doing the sale at my targets. I scanned 18 games (clearance and mostly non clearance) and nothing came up with any promo.

Definitely a select few. All 20 locations nearest to me still have it at $29.99. But thanks for the heads up anyways! :)

My target had the buy one get one free sign up and they have a  lot of games to choose but none tickled my fancy. They also had wolfenstein for 14.98 for ps3 and 360 and 19xx for xone and ps4.

I also noticed that there are new copies of Lollipop Chainsaw at Target for $20. Possible reprint? I bought it for $6 about 3 months back and then sold it

I checked around North OC today, my findings:

Whittwood Mall Target:

:360: + :ps3: Inversion $5.98

:xb1: Project Spark $27.98

:ps4: + :xb1: Wolfenstein TNO $27.98

:360: FUSE $13.98

:360: The Bureau XCOM Declassified $10.48

:360: Gears of War Judgment $13.98

:360: Wolfenstein TNO $14.98

They had :ps3: Lego The Hobbit on the shelves, I didn't check but probably out of the system.

Also bumped into World of Nintendo Samus; got her and combined with Cartwheel 10% off coupon.

La Habra Target:

Pretty much the same stuff seen already but this store was lazy AF, almost all the games weren't tagged. They just shoved everything off to the corner shelf and put up a 50% off sign and called a day.

 Buena Park Target:

:360: Wolfenstein TNO $20.98

:ps3: Wolfenstein TNO $14.98

Vita/psp stuff holding strong at 50% along with murdered soul suspect ps3

Couple questions:

Is Terraria for PS3 still working as part of the deal, so that I could essentially pick up two copies for $10 total? And if I order them online for in-store pickup, will the deal apply?

Yes it's still working as part of the B1G1. When ordering online, it charged me the individual $10 each price (deal did not apply). However, my order was cancelled because this was at the store that magically has 4 copies that are nowhere to be found (West Hollywood...still showing the four in stock but good luck finding them).

I haven't even seen this out on the sales floor yet at any Target. I ended up getting it by ordering one off the website for in store pickup. Couldn't apply the B1G1 unless they allowed a return/rebuy and since it was unclear what other games they had that were eligible I just said fuck it and took my $10 Terraria.

So I have three copies waiting for me. Is it worth completing the pickup process and then doing a return rebuy, or just being happy with the 3 for $30?
Do you like paying more for an item, or less for said item. If you pick the former, then simply pick up the online order at $30. If you choose the latter, then perform the return/rebuy....and see if you can find another $10 game in said store while you're at it so you can have 4 games for $20 instead of 3 for $30.

Think I may try to grab one more copy. Have you ever done a return/rebuy at Target before? Are they generally okay with that?

Have I? Heh heh heh...

This isn't clearance so they should be perfectly fine with it. Just tell them you want to pay for it with cash or with a different credit card after you've picked it up, or better yet go check for another copy or some other $10 game that is part of the promo in store, then take it up to the customer service counter when you go to pick up your online order and tell them you want to purchase them all together because of the ongoing promo.

Did the samus world of nintendo figure have a different dpci than the first world of nintendo series?

Can any of you tell me what this might possibly mean?

This is for Hot Shots Golf Vita btw.

For a moment...I thought some Vita games were going down to 70%. Oh well. Thanks anyway. Wonder why some of those stores showed up with "N/A" for est. price...
Any store that shows N/A will come up in the store as "Item Not Found" meaning they will probably check the last retail price or someone will randomly guess what they should sell it to you for. Either way I have never gotten an "Item Not Found" price for less than retail, however, YMMV.
