Man, all of the "clearance" games at my usually great location are still 14.xx.

They also seem to have removed the end cap for clearance and have just put a tiny "clearance" sticker above the usual row of Vita games.

 
Looks like some stores may be dropping the xbone controllers to $19.48 on Monday.

Just called one of the stores showing them at that price online and it still isn't showing in their system at that price.

Store about 40 miles from me claims to have 3 AC3 LE in stock...at $59.98 per brick seek. What are the odds it rings up cheaper at the $41.xx price?

I found an ultra sensor bar for the wiiu 50% off for 19.99 -> 9.98 207-00-1021 I didn't buy it but interesting item nonetheless. It's a sensor bar that can work wirelessly

Was coming in here to ask about/report a similar situation. Just came from the last Target in my area showing the Xbox One controller and play and charge combo. They have(had) just one. They actually have(had) 3, but one had different packaging from the other 2. The 2 with identical packaging scanned $74.99. The other one shows $32.48 on Brickseek, but scanned $45.48 in-store. I decided to pass at that price, but the mobile guy who scanned it for me decided to buy it for himself. Additionally, they had a Seagate 4TB external marked and scanned at $90-something, but Brickseek shows it at $38.98. There were 2 of them, and I decided to go ahead and buy 1 and try to change payment method later. Every other store in my area shows it at $129.99 on Brickseek. Can any Target/Brickseek veteran comment on the pricing inconsistencies we are seeing? I thought Brickseek was usually right on the money (pun intended), I don't think I've ever seen or heard about it being wrong before.

Others answered this question for me last week. These prices hit their systems on Thursday or Friday, but will not activate until someone at the store marks them down.

I had mixed results last week. None of the stores marked the prices down until at least Monday. One store was Monday, one was Tuesday and another Wednesday.

Thanks. I had a feeling that was the case. I didn't feel like it was worth trying a return rebuy on the controller, since it was the last one in their system I don't think they'd follow through with the markdown if they are out of stock. The hard drive could work out, since I left one (and I didn't see a clearance sticker on the one I left, making it more likely to stay on the shelf long enough for them to activate the discount). When this happens, is there anything one can do to get them to activate the markdown, or is the only option to wait?

Agreed, no force feedback is a deal breaker. I've been keeping my eye out for a wheel myself. I still may pull the trigger if this drops down to $15 or less until I can find a legitimate one on sale.

pretty sure i saw that wheel at the liberty target, if i remember right it was marked as clearance but still regular price, pretty weird actually.

Seen some black style ultra sensor bars last week, could only find the 1 white style ultra sensor bar while in the store today, which I already own (gamestop sells it pre-owned for the same price, if you can find it, can't believe it used to be over $40 originally new). You can also hook it up with the wire, if you don't want to buy batteries. Wish I picked up the black style when I had the chance, the white looks off in front of my TV.

Yeah but I only seen a few at my store. Smyrna TN shows 91 in stock for $5.98 but I'm not that much in need for a cosmetic switch to drive to get one.

 
managed to pick up the xb1 controller and charge pack for 45.48 yesterday.  They were very confused as to why the shelf tag scanned at 45.48 and the box scanned at 74.99 but gave it to me for the lower price.  Im just unsure if i will keep it.

That's the price I want to pay for one; however the closet store has it for $30. No thanks, lol. Did managed to pick up a Western Digital External HDD 500GB for ~$15.
 
Store 30 miles away has 8 Gold Dualshocks and Brickseek says $16.48. Is it worth going today to see or does that price not actually change til tomorrow?

My local store supposedly has five of them, though three reps in the store couldn't find them anywhere. Called the store and spoke with the MOD and she said that she had people looking for them and couldn't find them. She chalked it up as likely theft and would adjust the inventory counts to put them out of inventory.

Five days later, still showing as 5 on Brickseek. Thankfully another store has them for the $16.48, though I'm expecting more of the same if I go out there to check, with them being nowhere to be found in the store.

from what i've learned, if you cant find the items yourself anywhere in electronics or toy clearance endcaps, dont even bother asking the employees to find it, its the same story every single time and they been asked likely already 50 times for that item, "don't have any"

if they are really hiding them for themselves, you still have no shot at the item, might as well at least save your time and trouble

the only cases where this hasn't been true was for NON clearance items, a lot of times they will have extras in the back of NON clearance items

 
I've had great results asking for an item if it shows in-stock. I normally tell them another store told me it was In-Stock at that location and I've had several items pulled from the back.

My store has one at this price too but I'm gonna risk waiting to see if drops tomorrow. I already have 2 XB1 controllers so not a big deal but I would love one at sub $30.

 
local Target had some oddball ones:

:360: Lord of the Rings War in the North $27

:360: Max Payne 3 $7

:ps3: Puppeteer $11

:ps3: X-Men Destiny $25

and tons of shovelware. It was honestly the biggest clearance rack I've seen in awhile, even though the prices suck

There are 3 at my store still, but not seeing it on Brickseek at that price. In Franklin TN I am seeing it for that price though. Trades for $40.49 on amazon (as mentioned by someone else at some point).

They claimed it was shrink / loss / theft, though if they really were items they couldn't find, why leave the inventory count as showing them as in-stock?

Probably is employee hoarding, which I guess is one of the "perks" of their job, hiding items from customers so they can buy them at 75% off. :bomb:

When I worked at Target, they were so ridiculously strict on hiding clearance stuff. I saw 2 people get fired over related incidents. If they are hiding them, management must not give a shit.
