Target Clearance Thread XXII

A Target I visited tonight in Canton, MI had Final Fantasy XV Deluxe Edition for Xbox One in an endcap, and it scanned for $49.99.

I looked at their games behind glass, and FF XV standard was also $49.99.

I checked out Amazon and Best Buy, and the Deluxe was still fetching $70+, so I picked it up for the cool $49.99 price.

My Target has started some weird remodeling, and the entertainment section is almost completely gone. No more clearance at all, and what once used to be about 14 mini aisles of stuff, has been shrunk down to about 10. It's basically all cell phone stuff, and movies now. The video games and music CDs have practically disappeared overnight.

That does sound weird but I've seen some targets actually add old games but still mark for full price

I picked up the deluxe edition with the codes unused like new for $25 on offerup. Turned around and flipped my vanilla PS4 copy for $20

Did you see the price of those Color Tops figures? I saw them but they weren't ticketed. Also saw the Mass Effect Andromeda FigPins for $6.47. Didn't get the DPCI though.

This thrustmaster wheel for PS3/4 is down to $50. It's kinda eehhh but for $50 it's okay. 207-00-0563. Good hunting.

And btw thanks, I was able to catch one of those XBO controllers...to probably never use. :lol:

I managed to grab a ThinkGeek Mass Effect Andromeda shirt for 7.48, and 2 Playstation themed shirts for like 3.50 today. A lot of the gaming merch went on clearance. Almost caved on that Winter Forces controller as a PC controller, but decided against it.

Snagged one of those Winter Forces controllers today. $35 ain't bad and it's a nice looking controller. Thanks, OP.

Almost bought the Stealth 420X headphones, but then realized that they are not surround sound. That's a nope.

Saw the Winter Forces controller but ending up passing on it. Looks nice, but new Xbox One controllers go on sale frequently for around $35 so its just an okay deal.

Brickseek shows like 10 Targets in my area with those in stock for $34.98, HOWEVER 3 different Targets had em Ring up for $65..

Any idea what happened? Brickseek has never been THIS wrong...

The price might have just dropped this week and the stores may not have updated their prices yet.

It's probably safe to buy one and then go back and have them do a price adjustment when the discounted price reflects in store.

Yeah happens all the time. They have to put the clearance sticker on them. Walmart is way better as they are marked in the system and ring up price bs shows them

I went to a Target near my job after work yesterday just to browse, but I ended up grabbing a few items pretty similar to what Jawwaad1 got.

[attachment=27793:IMG_1630.JPG]

Wii U Game Traveler Sillicone Glove - $9.99 => $4.98

Dualshock 4 Deluxe Travel Case - $19.99 => $9.98

Rock Candy Wired Controller for Xbox One - $39.99 => $19.98

PlayStation VR video games PSVR Drive Club - $39.99 => $11.98

I also saw that the Party Bundle of Guitar Hero was also on clearance for 50% off, but they only had the Xbox One version and I'm looking for the PS4 version. I'll post both links here, however.
Guitar Hero 2016 Update for XBOX ONE - $79.99 => $39.98
http://brickseek.com/target-inventory-checker?sku=207-32-1620
Guitar Hero 2016 Update for PS4 - $79.99 => $39.98

I should also mention that the DriveClub VR game was officially out of their system, so I had to go to guest services for them to actually sell it to me, but they honored the last known price of $12. It also helped that the Target app on my phone was still scanning for the $11.98 price.

I won a Porg on Force Friday at Target.  Best store ever.

creepy framed pictures of stuffed animals in the background....
Indeed. The "teddy painting a child's portrait" pic in the middle is bad enough, but what the holy hell is the one to the right doing? Is it sitting on top of some victim it has decapitated, coating its snout chest and arms in blood?

It's art by Luke Chueh. He has been one of my favorite lowbrow street artists for several years. He likes to juxtapose things like his cute bear with the macabre. Most of his works exhibit twisted, melancholy, and depressing situations and he titles them with puns.

All good. I didn't even notice them or anything else besides the ginormous Porgy prior to TNG pointing them out.

This reminds me of the situation years ago with the guy that dressed up the dolls and posted pics of them.

THAT was creepy!

This was $5.98 at my local store. Most of the other things were reduced as well.

how well does that work, I thought nintendos voice chat setup was supposed to be overly hard to setup

DPCI is 207-00-0610 fyi, 9.99 at every target near me, and in stock at all of them

The voice chat portion is handled by the phone. That squid adapter thing was to add game audio. In theory you plug it in to your phone and can chat with it, though I suspect the idea was to have a headset plug directly into the Switch which is why its clearanced.

Surprisingly it's a single store in Cincinnati that has the $5.98 deal. Meijer nearby also has it on clearance.
