I can't tell you how much time i spent hemming and hawing over whether to get this, when I found it. The fact that it can be hacked is what pushed me over the edge

There used to be a thread about Gold Editions that have merged into the standard editions at Target.  I cant find it anymore.  Is this still a thing?  I see AC Odyssey is $20 at Target right now and I'd love to get the gold edition for that price.  Thanks.

Just checked and both the XB1 and PS4 editions are still separate SKU's.

Saw some in my store as well.. thin few of these have been mentioned but saw the following for X1:

Know there were a couple others that just didn't stick in my head as they didn't seem notable.

For  those interested in Lego Marvel Superheroes 2, consider getting Lego Marvel Collection which has Lego Avengers, Marvel Superheroes and Marvel Superheroes 2 along with all their dl content. I got it from GS a few months back for $20 so chances are it'll be around $20 during black Friday.

Man if I didn't already own most of those games, that's such an incredible list of games for dirt cheap.   Great for anyone who is just getting into current gen gaming for whatever reason.   That's easily 20 or so of the top100 games on the system.  All for ten bucks or less.

My local Target finally made use of their clearance rack and marked down some more titles to put there but they weren't anything special. Call of Duty Ghosts, MLB The Show 18, Mass Effect Andromeda for XB1 (both regular and deluxe were priced the same), a couple kids games. Really tiny rack though.

That Sega Genesis Flashback is the one that Atgames quietly released in 2018, without SEGA's permission. They did fix the audio, and it has an SD card slot, so you can load an SD card with SEGA roms and play practically every SEGA Genesis game upscaled in HD.

How is the hori left joycon? Looking for one that is good for sega classic and fighting games. Why didnt they make a matching right joycon?

Someone commented on the sega system on clearance. Can someone tell me the dcpi? Cant see it clearly. Can it play full size sega Genesis carts?

There wouldn't be any reason to. The only reason they made a left Joy-Con is to give people a real d-pad instead of the direction buttons.

Reviewer says it does take carts, but there are some games that don't work.

That's a review of the 2017 model. As far as I have read online, the 2018 version can play more games than the 2017 version through cartridges. And, because of it's SD card slot, it gets firmware updates to make it run better than the 2017 model.

Woo managed to snag Yakuza and nnk two revenant kingdom. The joycon for Zelda doesn't ring up the right price but they have a sign saying 1498 for it and a Pikachu one. I even saw dq11 s in the clearance section but didn't check the price. I assume that is a mistake.

Not sure how good is the Zelda metal case but I was planning to get it once it gets another price drop.

I just tried out the Hori D-PAD Joy-Con (Lf). It feels light on your hand but it's hardly noticeable once you install it to the system. Another thing is it fits pretty good with my clam shell case. No blocking on the shoulder button at all. But yeah so far I like it for the $15 I paid for it. I only got it mainly for Mega Man 11 and Tetris 99. It made my gaming more enjoyable and easy to play now because of the D-PAD.

My local store just completed remodel last week. The few usual clearance spots were replaced but I just found them elsewhere in the store.

Was in a different Target last weekend that I hadn't been to before, it was like stepping in a time machine. They haven't remodeled in years, they still had the old camera cases at the electronics counter and the old style cafe and sitting area, no Starbucks. I used to work for Target 10ish years ago, so seeing it like that really took me back.

Scan them just in case as Yakuza is in a section like that and it was on sale for 1/4th the price. Honestly finding something that actually rings up the price shown seems to be an oddity. Or at least for all 3 items I bought none were the price marked on the shelf.
