The $10 off worked for me on top of the b2g1 but the selection was pretty meh this time. Wondering if there’ll be new ones added throughout the week. Last of us and gif of war need to be available for pre order asap

Mine said that on Friday (release date), then shipped out yesterday (Saturday). I’m in New York, if location matters. And yeah, I had it pre-ordered for a while with 30% off too. Not sure what the point of pre-ordering it was if they’re gonna send out availability warnings.

How in the hell are you guys finding games to buy anymore? Every time I try to even look all the new games are on Game Pass. :shock:

 
Is there an easy way to filter the list to show titles that are both part of b2g1 AND a specific platform (Nintendo Switch)?

I thought there was, but I'm failing to get the filter to work on platforms.

The offer with the free Apple memberships was supposed to end on 6/17/22, but it looks like the expiration dates have been extended to 9/26/22. I'm still going to redeem mine today once I figure out how to do it on my Apple TV. I haven't turned it on in over 6 months. Every time I click the offers on the Target website, it won't go through. Help?

I tried to redeem my code last week and Apple was saying the code had expired. Even Apple chat wouldn't help me. Luckily I remembered that PS5 owners get 6mo free anyways.

Has anyone received emails from Target before on preorders where it says they had issues with payment and it needs updated by a certain date but it was in error?  I have received two so far today from two different preorders but when i check my account both of my preorders look fine. I know my red card is fine because i just used it a few days ago.

There’s been a lot of spam/junk emails going out lately. I’d call to make sure everything is good.
 
This morning, I saw that I have a new offer in my Circle to get a $10 gift card with a $50 video game software purchase.

Online, it works on selected games including some first-party Nintendo Switch titles, but not all.  Digital downloads and gift cards don't qualify.  Maybe I'll use it if I can do a good price match before the end of the week.

I also got this promotion and noticed it works on a large number of preorders currently. Not as great as some of the other ones they offered (30% and 40% off comes to mind), but it'll do if I dont see any other offers.

So I can't speak from past experience but I would be wary of doing it on a pre-order. They state that the promotional gift card isn't provisioned until the item ships or is picked up (which certainly makes sense from the standpoint of combating potential abuse), so A) you could be waiting awhile to receive it and B) what happens if there is an issue with the pre-order or it gets cancelled for any reason? These are good things to consider before jumping in and relying on a pre-order as a means to score a promotional credit.

I got like 3 pre order codes from target email for DNF duel wtf. I cancelled two and my copy is backordered that’s weird lol. Recently I haven’t been receiving pre order bonuses from target

When I went to customer service a few months back, they swore up and down that they never price match GameStop. Those damn liars! :shock:

Many don’t know how to price match correctly. There’s some place on their devices to go and I’m pretty sure it has links to all the stores they pricematch.

PM'd them today through online chat. Too bad the game I ordered :)switch: Tokyo Mirage Sessions for $30) wasn't one that qualified for the Circle gc. Free shipping still made it cheaper than ordering from GS.

After the chat person left me on hold for about 10 minutes, she denied my price match with GameStop because of the Circle deal. So, I didn't buy anything, and I let the coupon expire. :bomb:

I figure that I have too many games already, and I was only buying more games since I had the coupon. These coupons are meant to entice you to buy, even if you didn't plan to buy. And GameStop had better prices. I just hate shopping at GameStop because new games sometimes arrive gutted even when you buy from the website. Oh well, easy come, easy go.

In other news, I had a new Circle offer this morning for 30% off Switch and Xbox controllers. :roll:

First person I talked to yesterday disappeared while checking if they could pm. I closed the chat after 20 minutes of no response. Target cs is usually good though. Second chat rep was able to pm without issue. My game didn't stack with the Circle deal, so no conflict there.

Got it too. on the Switch side of things it seems to work on Joy-Cons, the standard Pro Controller, the Hori Split Pad Pro (Black), and various PowerA controllers including the Fusion Pro.

Picked up the fusion pro. Any opinions? Most reviews say it’s a good controller but not worth 100 bucks given the lack of rumble. Hopefully it’s worth the $45 it cost.

They're probably not marked clearance, but they're 249.99 retail and if they're in stock at a store near you they probably ring up for 75$ clearance. The store I was at last night had about 4-5 in stock in the glass case and they rang up at the clearance price, no issues.

They have a built in mic and all that jazz so I'm sure it would work for any of your gaming/streaming/whatever needs. I'm not a sweaty audiophile but I've been looking for a good set of headphones to use for switch/steamdeck/whatever when my GF is napping or its late at night. I don't know much about what makes "great" headphones, but they have noise canceling and a "clear sound/transparent/active listening" mode, sound good, and come with a case. I dig em. Just a tip for anyone interested.

I don't have great luck at Target with game clearance, just the Buy 2 get 1 deals they've done recently

9 something years ago was probably the best prime day. I got a bunch of psp titles they were getting rid of like p3p, so1, so2, tactics ogre for 4$ (though they shipped it like 6 months later) trails in the sky, tear of vermillion, jeanne darc for 10$ each new.

Honestly their sporadic promo credit/coupon deals like that 15$ off x2 one from back in january are generally better than their prime day offerings.

15% off on whatever’s in ur cart is not bad but then again when ur used to b2g1 cancel it’s not so good but really depends on what ur buying. If u really want something now it’s definitely good

I feel like I definitely missed out on some glory days. Still good deals to be had, but I feel like everyone wised up a little.

You've probably missed some but there's still good deals to be had every so often. Though awd and psn used to be better. pcgamesupply used to have at least 1 discounted psn code each month and there used to be 1-3$ flash sales and dealseeker used to share multiple games every day. The last good deal was on ps5 controllers for I think 35$ and ps4 pro controllers for 18$
