well that was quick..the suspensions have been issued...8 players ...the suspensions will be staggered so that no one is really short handed. That is a little shaddy imo. You

up, you break league rules then your team should suffer the consequences. A bunch of

ing bullshit. Lester begin serving his immediatly, crisp appealed.
redsox..
crisp 7 games
jon lester 5 games
sean casey 3 games
tampa
shields 6 games
gomes 5 games
edwin jackson 5 games
crawford 4games
iwamura 3 games
some shockers in there...crisp deserves a lot, due to charging the mound, but shields should get equal time IMO. He has come out and basically said he was trying to hit him, and it wasn't like he wouldn't have knocked crisp the

out if he had made contact in that first punch. Both were at fault, both should get the same imo.
Lester deserves some time because of allegedly throwing at a rays hitter later on in the game after warning have been issued. No problem with that, but imo they should have given warnings at the begining of the game. They knew that there was bad blood from the night before and the umpire crew should have taken some precautions.
Sean casey kinda suprised. Granted we have only what the cable channel decides to show, but he is allegedly one of the most easy going liked guys in baseball. His nickname is the mayor. In the footage he was in the middle of it, but from what I saw he looked like he was trying to seperate people.
IMO shields deserves 1 more game
IMO gomez deserves as many if not more then crisp/shields. He has a history from this season of jumping in late and looking to

someone up. You can easily see him throwing several haymakers at crisp who was on the bottom of the pile a good 2 or 3 bodies in between them. No reason for it, and I know there isn't a rule in place for the additional guy fighting but imo it is just wrong.
crawford came in late, and was throwing punches, a little steep IMO as he wasn't in it for long, but I can understand.
Iwamura I have mixed feelings about. You clearly see him practically tea bagging crisp, but he didn't look like he did much.
Pretty lame about Lester. It was a curveball that didn't break. It was going like 60 MPH and barely hit his knee. The replay of it was pretty clear he released it poorly.
