I feel for Duncan, this man had a 5th ring in sight and thanks to questionable coaching and dumbass teamates, had it snatched away. Lol Can't believe how many scrubs are now 2 time champs or have a ring. Rashard Lewis , Birdman are now champions ladies and gentlemen. Juwan Howard, Chalmers, Flopier is are now 2 time champs.
 
the only bright spot on the spurs team is Kawhi Leonard.
Yup, he played like hes been to the finals before and despite what espn dicksuckers would want you to believe played excellent defense on whoever he guarded. Now espn is gonna be unwatchable for about a couple of months. Tebow on 1 end and lebrontards putting this guy in Jordans atmosphere on the other.
 
 
atleast leborn james didn't chock this time in close games. But his teams 3 point specialists did bail him out in those close games tho, guys like mike miller, ray allen, shane battier really came through. Danny green is a streaky shooter, espn hyped him a little too much with the most 3 point made record stat. Realistically, spurs are going to have to go into rebuilding mode starting next season. It will be naive of them to think they can win with the core of guys right now. I am actually surprise by the performance by the overweight boris diaw in the finals. He did well/ better than i thought.
 
the heats can probably compete for a championship in the weak eastern conference for the next 3-5 years, as long as dwyane wade stays health. Chris bosh was not much of a factor in the finals.

if the clippers go through with the doc rivers, and kevin garnett trade. They will be making a big mistakes. It is still not enough to help them win a championship, or even making it to the western conference finals. Doc rivers is a overrated coach, before the big 3 was assembled. He was not doing too well with the celtics. I still cannot believe doc rivers is now trying to weasel his way out of his contract, he knew rebuilding mode was coming. IF he did not want to be involved in it. HE should of never signed the contract extension for 5 yrs. Rumors are swirling around that he will sit out next year, if he is not with the clippers next year.

Spurs should have won the championship. But they lost it in game 6, and even in game 7 they made stupid turnovers, and danny green wow... he really turned from a positive into a super negative for the spurs in the last 2 games. Its a shame really.
But now Lebron ranks up there with Adam Morrison as a two time NBA Champion.
Bosh should be traded. He really doesnt do much for the heat aside from block and rebound. I kind of feel bad for the guy. In Toronto he was the man, now he isnt even the 3rd wheel in the super friends anymore. All i see him do is not fit in and get yelled at by teammates.

danny green i justs a streaky shooter, he brings nothing else to the table. THat is why he bounced around the league for a while, before spurs took a chance on him. Chris bosh is basically useless, if he is not your first option, or second option in offense. He is most effective being the focal point of your offense.

The issue with bosh is that he's playing out of position. I hope the heat pick up a center and let bosh go back to his natural position.
Wow that was a really great series. Game 6 is the craziest damn thing I saw in basketball. Rayray saved lebrons ass bigtime on that 3. As for game 7 i almost thought Heat gonna choke the ring after Chalmers missed those 2 freethrows. I have never yelled the word

I actually think that is a good trade for clips, Deandre and 2 first rounders for KG, Doc and Lee or terry(or was it pierce?).. Clips have no coach doc can solve that, Jordan and Blake cannot play together, 2 picks on a garbage draft to send to celts.. Clippers "window" is not as open as most people think it is. And the only way to keep that window open (while tha lakers are about to undergo rebuilding) is to sign Cp3 longterm and a solid coach to make the franchise more attractive to future free agents..

Haha I thought the exact same thing. I can't stand Bosh, but last night when Wade was yelling at him for not setting a pick, then Wade literally just dribbled/lost the ball out of bounds, all I could think of was, "that poor velociraptor gets no respect". It happens at least once a game I swear.

Or trade him for someone like Z-BO or Lamarcus Aldridge, someone who is not necessarily a real center, but someone who would fit in Miami's system better. Nothing against Bosh, I've been diehard since birth but really started watching the Heat in '04 when Shaq came in, and as much as 3 trips to the Finals and 2 wins is a big deal I don't think we can 3peat with Bosh, but hey my team never ceases to amaze me. Regardless of who stays or goes at that position I think we can all agree a paycut is the minimum that needs to occur. Do you know Bosh makes as much as Lebron? That's

I actually think Coach Pop does the best press conf in all of NBA.. The dude is godly in trolling reporters and he knows it LMAO.
As for bosh... I really do believe Miami needs him to stay, but boy he is overpaid AF this next season. The best thing for the heat to do is to ask someone from the big 3 (or all 3 of them) to take a pay cut (if that is possible in nba's cba). They need bosh as he can somewhat stretch the floor for lebron and wade. I doubt someone would want to trade for bosh after that performance and that huge contract. But if trading bosh is inevitable I would want the heat to go after its KLove. Think about all the possibilities on a lineup with James, Wade and Love gdamn. (uh oh there is a hidden joke on that lineup lol)
They key for heat 3peating like lebron said is guys taking improvement this off-season very seriously.

Lebron took over and showed the world yet again he is the best player alive right now. 2 MVP's, 2 Finals MVP's, and an Olympic gold medal all within the past two years. It has been fun to watch, bow to the king :bow:

Clippers just landed Doc RIvers for a 1st rd pick. Not sure what their roster will look like yet but they now have one of the best coaches in today's game running them.
Doc Rivers is overrated, Lionel Hollins would of been the better choice. Docs rivers will have harder time in the stronger western conference, than the weak eastern conference.

While I am not questioning the fact that Hollins would've been a nice hire, I definitely disagree that Doc Rivers is overrated. In my opinion, he's easily been the 2nd best coach in the league (behind Popovich obviously) for years now. Dealing with change around his aging core over the years and keeping them competitive is not an easy feat.
This year's team specifically shows Rivers' genius. Had to fill Ray Allen's role, then lost his best player and floor general halfway into the season and still they finished over .500 with a 37 year old KG and 35 year old Paul Pierce leading the way. They didn't exactly have the best role players either but they earned the 7th seed and gave New York a much bigger fight than most people thought. That 20-0 run in game 6 was the fight I expect to see from a Doc Rivers team. I'm excited to see him run a young team (assuming they keep most of that group together)

I'm not a guy that likes to talk about the Heat too much, ESPN has that covered, but I do want to say two things about them: (1) LBJ is a great player and with the exception of game 3 (bizarre but everyone has off nights) had to carry that team to a title with help from a random player each game; (2) Miami, while the best team in the league this season, does not deserve a shoutout in the "greatest teams of all time discussion".
It just goes to show how different the reg season is compared to the playoffs. If the Heat roster is the exact same, they are still the favorites, but there are many contenders esp if Westbrook and Rose are healthy. Last thing about them, which is what others have said on podcasts and articles, is how did they win 27 games and yet still have no shows in the playoffs. All the talk about them and the non-stop ESPN promotion/shock (when lose it's because they didn't play hard) created this perception that they were unbeatable, when they truly were beatable in a few ways. Hell, they should've been beaten by the Spurs this series.
All credit goes to the crazy quarter LeBron had in game 6 and the weird dynamic of game 7 with Battier hitting 6 threes and Chalmers hitting that crazy almost-half-court shot at the end of the 3rd. Oh god, Chris Mihm. I forgot about him. At least we got a lot of great names out of that draft (Scoonie Penn, Hedo Turkoglu, Keyon Dooling, Mateen Cleaves).
I found it crazy when I saw that rumors were circulating about the Cavs loving Alex Len, which seemed to be such a stretch for the #1 pick. I'd have to think it'll either be Otto Porter or Nerlens Noel. It would be nice to see them get a potentially great SF instead of just sticking with the guy that's clearly a better option than Omri Casspi.

Also, there were talks a couple days ago about Dallas and Cleveland swapping the 13th and 19th pick, with the Cavs absorbing Marion's 9+mil contract for next season. Gives them the SF they need along with another lottery pick. That was out there along with CLE offering two 2nd rd picks for Paul Pierce. Not sure how Boston feels about that but they have less than a week to decide to buyout that $15 mil contract for $5 mil...Either way, CLE want that SF.
I personally would really hate losing Matrix if it doesn't result in a huge FA (like a Dwight perhaps

From the article I read earlier about the Doc Rivers trade, it was suggested that Boston's going to buy out the rest of Paul Pierce's contract, so anybody that wants him just has to wait for that.
I heard about the Dallas trade, but there wasn't much concrete about it since there were other rumors about Cavs trades floating around that made it seem more like a smokescreen than a likely thing.

I REALLY hope that Deng Wizards trade goes through for my Bulls. Jimmy Buckets is on the up and up and offers everything Deng does with limitless energy to boot. Oladipo or Mclemore at 2, Rose, Butler, Noah and whenever we dump Boozer with any other potential signings would make the Bulls contenders, especially in the East, for the next half-decade.

I highly doubt that Dallas does anything with Marion except maybe have him opt out and sign a longer deal. Dude is a beast and one of the best glue guys in the NBA. His defense slipped a little last year, but I think that had more to do with having everyone else play less than stellar defense. Dude plays the 2-4 and always guards the other teams best player. He also is still a quality rebounder and can put up buckets when needed.
If Washington goes through with that trade, that team is going to compete very well in the East last year. Once they got rolling, they were a pretty good team. They could win a playoff series next year if everyone is healthy.

Looks like Thomas Robinson is on his way out the door with the Rockets. I've read that they have deals on the table with both the Bulls and Cavs, with the Rockets getting either the 19th or 20th pick in the draft. This also clears cap for the Rockets to go after Dwight Howard.

And coincidently (maybe/maybe not), T-Rob was in Cleveland last night for an LL Cool J concert.
According to Alex Kennedy, Cleveland has offered New Orleans the No. 1 pick for Greivis Vasquez, the No. 6 pick and a 2014 first-round pick...would you take that move if you were the Pelicans? I feel that CLE is overpricing the value of that top pick.

Damn. Boston trades Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Jason Terry to the Nets for the 2014, 2016, and 2018 1st round picks along with Gerald Wallace and a few other pieces to even out the money part of it. It won't actually happen until July 10, so all of the details will be worked out by then.

Holy shit is that a crazy trade. Assuming everyone can stay healthy, the Nets should have a damn good line up next year. Now I'm really interested in seeing what Jason Kidd can do as new head coach.
I don't see it as that smart a move on Bostons part though. Why make this trade with someone in your own division? And a team that went to the playoffs this year no less. I don't think those picks are going to be worth much either.

I know this is a weak draft, but I'm still puzzled at how the Pacers passed on Hardaway Jr. or even Crabbe. They could have easily traded for Hill in the second round. I know he is probably a more well-rounded player but they need more scoring badly.
