Where is the weekly ad?
They ended the weekly ad for more rotation of deals. Please check the homepage and deal link for the current deals.

I can't find a trade in value for an item?
It might not be tradable or calling a store to find the value may be the only option.

How many copies of a game can I trade in?
You are allowed to trade in 4 copies of the same game (same system) within a rolling 30 day period.

Are there trade limits?
Yes, $500 cash minus some electronic trade ins and or $2000 trade credit in a rolling 30 day period.

Can I use the $5 monthly coupon on gift cards?

Yes you can in store but not online please note not all gift cards will apply to this rule.

I have a $XX.xx pre-owned reward certificate, and I want to use it on a B2G1 transaction. Should I?
It depends. If the three games are equal value, do not use your certificate. The value of the certificate would be applied to the free game, which would not benefit you. If one game is more expensive, you can use the certificate to make it the same value as the other two games ($5 reward certificate applied to transaction with two $10 games and one $15 game would make all three games $10).


TERMINOLOGY AND LINGO:
ASL/SL: Assistant Store Leader, Store Leader; manager positions at GS.
B2G1: Buy two, get one free.
GS: GameStop
JD: Junior detective, an employee who is out to get someone
LP: Loss Prevention; this is the department that actually bans accounts after being flagged.
TC/TiC: Trade credit.
TIV/TV: Trade in value, or what a game currently trades for. When posting a TV for a game, always use the base value.

Order 1, $78.33: Silent hill 2 remake, LOU part II remastered, epic mickey rebrushed (Sw)
Order 2, $69.33: Cyberpunk ultimate edition (Xbox DLC on disc), rise of ronin, metroid prime remastered

Some of these games will also be on sale at Walmart on BF and brand new, but I have GS credit, so I would rather use that.
 
Hard to decide. Silent hill could be $30 again and brand new. Thinking of pulling the trigger on SH2, x2 astrobot (one as a gift) for $30 each. Rise of the ronin, dragons dogma should be $30 somewhere. Already got fantazio, sparking zero and stellar blade. Star Wars outlaws? I’ll wait longer lol. Just hope I have some luck getting the original cases
 
Man the B2G1 is tempting, and if I could get a PS5 disc drive, even more so, but I just don't want to deal with the potential used game, incomplete or not working properly bullshit. It wasn't worth my time last year.

Is Brothership one of them? It happened to me and then I removed that game to get the error gone. I’m assuming Brothership preowned sold out.

That was the case for me too as soon as it went live. I had to switch Mario Wonders and Echo of Wisdom to local pickup, and kept Brothership as shipping (and get charged the shipping fee), in order to continue with checkout.

Just recently finished Stellar Blade, it was a really great game overall.

Strong nods to Nier Automata, which I loved. I am curious to see how this new DLC turns out (for Stellar Blade).

I will say, the last boss almost ruined the game for me. The next to last boss was pretty difficult also, but I was able to handle that one after a bit of practice and looking up suggestions on setting up your character for the fight. But wow, the last boss was pretty ridiculous with a gigantic spike in difficulty.
 
Ordered 6 games in the $17-20-ish range... now to see how many of them actually come with their cases (think they're all manual-less games) for the PS5: Elden Ring, Star Ocean 2nd R, RE4, Infinite Wealth, P3 Reload, and Jedi Fallen Order.

Wanna get Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate but not sure what to match it with. SMRPG and Rise of Ronin are two I was thinking about. But also feel like all of these games are headed for the $20 bin within a year anyway so not sure I wanna jump on them...

Just a heads up, the PS5 version of cyberpunk ultimate has the dlc as a code and not on disc so the used version likely would not come with it. Xbox version is all on disc though.

anyone know for sure if all the alan wake 2 dlc is on disc for ps5? i see online some conflicting information, but seems that it's just an unlock after a download...just wondering in case it comes back in stock used.

The free shipping threshold discourages buying games that are less than $40. Not many are going to find 6 cheap games they want for free shipping and don’t already have that are also relatively good deals.

Pretty sure only the first DLC is on disc, while the 2nd one requires a download

So not ideal, but at least it's not a voucher, so still worth buying pre-owned

Incorrect—I can confirm that both DLCs plus the Deluxe Edition bonus content (outfits and weapon skins) are on-disc for PS5. The only voucher is for the PS5 version of Alan Wake Remastered (the first one).

There was someone affiliated with Remedy I recall speaking on this months ago that the 2nd DLC would require a download/update, and then this website (they're also on Twitter, been really useful for other games as well) further confirmed that that ended up being the case.
