Different strokes for different folks.. I now have the Cowboys for another week when I get farther In and the choices/competition gets a bit tougher. Wouldn't be much fun if everyone took the same few picks just to play it safe.
 
Some good games played today, hard to predict the outcome. Knocked out about 47 people so far I believe. Was a tough week for some.
 
Wooh I survived one week! And I picked the Panthers...anyone else see them win the game in the last 2 seconds of the game? It was pretty damn near amazing. I thought I was out for sure!
 
Oh well, another season, another quick exit from this type of pool. My season was almost as short as Tom Brady's :lol:!

Indeed. Besides the fact that it would be boring if we all picked the same team (or, at least, extremely funny if we all lost with that one team), you need to pick 16 different teams through the season. Eventually, you have to pick some average teams, and no matter who they are playing, it's going to be a toss-up.
 
Arizona won but it was ugly. At least I got them out of the way. I'm in another knock out pool and picked San Diego last second heartbreaker. Thats 50 bucks down the drain. I could get back in for $50 more and can't pick SD again not that I would. But I'll forget that pool and hope I stay in this one a bit longer.
 
Hey at least i picked a not so great team. Im saving the better ones for later. Anyway's im only playing for kicks. It's not like im out right.

I shouldn't be saying this as I am giving away some strategy and it'll hinder my chances but oh well...

The thing is that although that may be true (and of course on any given Sunday:cool:) that eventually you need to pick the stinkers...

Later on as the season progresses I would imagine that you can better determine which one of those stinker teams would pull the upset/win as you go on and weigh in on the injuries, current performance, team they are playing etc.

But I agree, different strokes for different folks...

if I'm not mistaken, being placed on injured reserve means you're out for the whole season, including playoffs (if they make it)

Week 2 is now open for picks. Sorry for the delay but it's primary day in Delaware and I was doing volunteer work.

Get your picks in by September 13th, 8PM EST.

Check the list and week 1 results above to make sure I didn't screw something up. With so many players it's easy to miss something.
 
Give me Da Bears....for now.

Edit (9/13) Going to change my pick to the Bucs for week 2. Hopefully this doesn't bite me in the ass for going with my team.
