"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson Wrestling Thread
You missed Edge being in 2 Elimination Chamber matches in a PPV. Lost the one he had the Title he had then won the Heavyweight Title. Jeff Hardy actually was the World Champ for a short time. Orton is in a fued with McMahons in which he has punted Vince & Shane then he RKO'ed Stephanie which has lead to him being in a fued with HHH. Cena is about fued with Edge over the Heavyweight Title which means he will be back on Smackdown soon. Jericho actually punched a fan who spit on him outside a venue because the security wasn't stopping anything.

These are the main things that I can think of at the moment.
Thanks for the update. :D

For the first time in many, many years, I am thoroughly enjoying each Raw. Mostly because of Orton's storyline.

I'm also pretty happy that Kane has been off of my TV lately. If only Mike Knox would follow his lead.
Thanks for the update. :D
The sad thing about Jeff losing the title was that Matt Hardy was the reason for him losing because Matt hit him with a chair during his match. They used a storyline that someone had a grudge against Jeff but you didn't know who it was doing things to him outside of the ring but Jeff thought it was Edge and people around the web thought this was going to be the way they were going to bring Christian in. It was a nice surprise when ended up being Matt.

Matt Striker is reason enough to watch ECW, I hope he get the promotion he deserves to Smackdown during the draft. IIRC, wasn't there an episode of Smackdown or a PPV where Striker did commentary with JR because Tazz had some family issues? I'd love to watch that again if anyone remembers when it happened.
I don't get Christian's appeal and never will. He's an average at best wrestler and his much touted 'mic skills' come off as incredibly phony and forced. His re-debut speech against Jack Swagger was painful to watch in it's delivery and unfunniness. The funny thing is originally he and the WWE knew it too. The nickname Captain Charisma was supposed to be ironic.
I hate the Captain Charisma nickname - it was funny for a brief while...IN 2003. It's far too corny for a regular one, and his face act doesn't do much for me - he's worlds better as a heel, and his promos are generally awful when they're just nothing but strings of catchphrases, but that's also a universal criticism I have against those kinds of promos. Still, as either a face or a heel, he can deliver a really good match. He's not, however, someone who has done much (even including his TNA work) to make me think that he deserves anything more than an occasional main event shot in WWE. His TNA run really exposed him for me, especially his first feud with Monty, where Monty looked like more of a star and talked like more of one than him, the BIGGEST ACQUISITION IN TNA HISTORY!!

And the best part of his NWA Title runs was the Paparazzi Production with Mitchell following his wife around, and that hilarious bit with Abyss being struck with a big water cooler in Christian's home. He did have a string of really good matches in late '07 and early '08, but his whole act just reeks of "upper midcard" guy - he's like a B-rate Tully Blanchard in that regard, and Tully's act was far better defined and more enjoyable, and taken more seriously as a main event-level one if needed.

Are there any good promos anymore in a wrestling world where everything's so pre-written? Jericho's a lousy actor, but was great with ad-libs. And, sure, Santino may be funny, but you ain't buyin' a ticket on account of him.

Sure - there have been plenty of great promos on a fairly regular basis in the past year alone from Jericho, HBK, JBL, Joe (from time to time), and Sting.

The 3 hour Raw for the draft will be in Atlanta. I'm willing to accept contributions for a ticket in return for updates during commercials.:)

Anyone read the Russo book? I was reading some of it over at Borders and it was pretty interesting. I might pick it up.
The guy behind 101 Reasons Not To Be A Pro Wrestler and New Jack: Hardcore put the full version of both on YouTube with a ton of other videos

http://www.youtube.com/user/slowdive626

Pretty cool, I always wanted to see the New Jack documentary.
I put that link up a few weeks ago, and it's a great resource to see some good documentaries for free...and legally.

I got the Starrcade set last night for $20 at Wal-Mart and loved the documentary. They did an excellent job covering Magnum's crash (the photo of the Porsche after it is stunned me - it's a miracle he lived at all after that), and even got into WWE making cable companies choose between Starrcade and the Survivor Series - with thoughts on it from David Crockett. There was also a Flair tour of the Greensboro Coliseum, which reminded me of the far superior scene from Heroes of World Class with Kevin Von Erich touring the Sportatorium for the last time, on the 19th anniversary of David's death.

The set itself has a bunch of stuff I haven't seen before. So far, I've just watched the Douglas/Steamboat vs. Windham/Pillman match, which had some really good stuff, but didn't quite live up to the billing from J.R. before it of being a high-flying match with Steamboat and Pillman. It did have some sick bumps though, including Douglas taking a bump off the top rope to the floor, flying 3/4 of the length of the ring in the process. Sting-Muta was really good, but short. It was pretty awesome seeing Muta break out the Cattle Mutilation though, and Terry Funk was great on commentary. Jesse Ventura's commentary is intact for anyone wondering.

Well let's hear it for TNA's continued great booking of their top faces. AJ jumps Booker from behind, Joe holds a giant knife to Steiner's throat.

THIS IS D-DUBYA AND I'M IN A RAGE, I WANT TENAY AND I WANT HIM IN A CAGE!

This show was so damn awesome for good, and mostly bad reasons. The knockouts tag opener was a big step up from the usual shit, although it still wasn't anywhere near as good as the Gail Kim-era, and had some funky-looking stuff. Debuting a character only to have her turn right then and there was a laugh riot - why should anyone care that she attacked Taylor? No one knows who Madison is, and no one cares about Taylor anyway.

Everything Booker did ruled - from his reactions in the "Mr. Huffman" skit, to ordering the cops around, trying to bribe them with donuts, and rattling off police terms in a Nancy Grace-level frenzy to try and get them to go after AJ and give him 5-10 for stealing his belt and damaging his photo with Ali.

Rock 'n Rave vs. Beer Money was decent, but the highlight was definitely after the match, with Rock's forced exit being secondary on commentary to shilling the KFC move of the night. Beer Money cheating to win these matches doesn't work for me - they're basically faces, just treat them as such and don't bother protecting the guys WHO ARE LEAVING THE COMPANY by having the champs cheat to win the matches. TNA might as well use these things to further build up Beer Money with some good double team finishers instead of just getting a belt shot over, which doesn't work in this company anyway since a thousand weapon shots never do anyone in. I do like Beer Money only cheating a lot behind the ref's back instead of just doing it in front of him - it's at least something that tries to add a semblance of rules to a company that never seems to have any.

Abyss wanting to be a teen idol and desiring a Jonas Brothers CD - awesome stuff. Hopefully he can be the Tank Abbott to a TNA version of 3 Count soon. Hardcore History served its usual purpose - it made me want to watch another promotion besides TNA. That is the point of these things, right? At least Mick didn't say his TNA match was his favorite - that did something to give his character some credibility. The Joe-Steiner knife thing was odd - like having AJ jump Booker from behind, but with much higher stakes theoretically, this really makes the faces impossible to like and turns the would-be heels into the sympathetic characters.

Really, there's no reason to like the Front Line - they're a bunch of pussies who can't win when it matters even when the deck is stacked in their favor, and to any casual wrestling fans who happen to tune into Impact, Booker's view of the company (and the Front Line) as a bunch of nobodies and wannabes is true. Beyond that, the MEM actually comes off like a cool group - you've got Steiner, who is always awesome on the mic and just wants to kick ass and get laid, Nash, who is the other cool cat of the group, Booker being all wacky and funny, Angle the gold medalist, and Sting, who people will just never boo.

The DW-Tenay rage segment was incredible. Don made a ton of good points, Tenay said very little, made a bunch of silly faces, and Don left to a chorus of cheers. I don't know where they're going with this angle, but it was a lot of fun to watch, and Don cut a better promo than every other face on the roster - and made better points to back up his viewpoint, too. I liked that he brought up that he and Mike called every single match in the company's history - that's the first thing that hooked me on the promo, it was true (but not completely, as it left out Ferrera, but that's fine since his tenure was so brief) and Don came off as really likeable here too. The fact that this got a replay while Joe PUTTING A KNIFE TO A MAN'S THROAT was treated like an afterthought amused me greatly.

Khan/Bolt vs. Kong/Saed (the first match in TNA history to not have Don and Mike on commentary) wasn't too horrid as long as Khan wasn't in the ring, but once again TNA has turned characters that the crowd has no reason to care about. For one thing, they had the heels vs. face tag match before Khan and Bolt officially turned - that was in the post-match. Again, TNA does things in reverse order to the detriment of its own product and in such a way that it make sure nothing gets over.

The four way ladder match between the Guns and Lethal Consequences came off as something that really should've been advertised advance. Beyond just being a ladder match - something that deserves hype anyway, this was a four-way one, and those are even rarer. Plus, it was for a title - if they ever want ladder matches, the belt, or the wrestlers vying for it to actually mean anything to the crowd, then they need to start building these things up ahead of time.

After just watching it last night, the '00 Starrcade three-way ladder match on the Essential Starrcade set, which I'm sure TNA will find some way to plug soon enough on their show, is fresh in my mind and parallels this match in a few ways. Each used multiple ladders in interesting ways (like forming a scaffold out of them), and a goal that SHOULD mean something but ultimately doesn't. With that match, it was a shot at the cruiserweight title. With this one, it was the X title itself, which neither the champion or his challengers seemed to care much about.

The match itself was full of fast action, but again, had some really contrived-looking offense that didn't make much sense (like a double team neckbreaker/sunset flip combo...in a ladder match), and like the Starrcade match, or the AJ-Kaz turkey head challenge match, it came across as completely meaningless. Fortunately, this one didn't feature guys doing tons of risky stuff for no reward - all things considered, this was a pretty safe ladder match, and it still featured some highlight reel-worthy stuff they can use to build up the Ultimate X (like the ladder-assisted sliced bread #2 from Shelley). The post-match bit with Suicide supposedly knocking Shelley from the ladder was hilarious, as Shelley clearly lept off the ladder before Suicide could make contact with it - and they went with a camera angle that pointed this out. I hope this leads to a five-way Ultimate X with Suicide winning, then unmasking to reveal himself as Daniels so they can both do something with Daniels and end this idiotic (even by TNA standards) crossover with their game.

The show-closing contract signing built up some things fairly well. Sting-Angle came off as important, while it also teased another Angle-Jarrett match. Imagine that Angle will win the belt at Destination X, leading to the Mafia against the Front Line with Jarrett leading the Front Line and Angle leading the Mafia, while Sting either joins the Front Line, or battles Foley as has been rumored. Given the shape Foley appeared to be in, I would hope they're just part of Lethal Lockdown, as that match being weapon-filled should help hide some of Mick's flaws and would put him in a high-profile match that should be good and that wouldn't require him to tax his body much.

I expected one of the worst Impacts ever going into this show, but the end result was a fairly memorable show with a couple of decent matches that built up a few fairly well for Destination X and beyond. None of the matches were horrid, and DW, Tenay, Booker and Steiner were gold here.

Quotes for the "Family Counselor Needed!" edition of Impact -
Tenay - As you can see, we are in an empty Impact Zone, we are hours before tonight’s broadcast - let’s review what went down last week.
DW - IT WAS A FIGHT! WHO CAN FORGET KURT ANGLE FALLING 15 FEET FROM THE TOP OF THE BLEACHERS!? WHO CAN FORGET KURT ANGLE HITTING STING WITH THE GIANT TRASH CAN!? AND THEN A CHAIRSHOT!

(cops enter MEM locker room)Steiner - SHE WAS 19! Jeremy, you were there…
Cop - Is there a Mr. Huffman here? (everyone looks around more confused than usual)
Angle - Mr. Huffman?
Booker - I uh…
Angle - MR. HUFFMAN!? YOU KIDDING ME, BOOK? YOUR NAME IS HUFFMAN! HAHAHAHAHA!
Steiner - YOU A FINANCIAL ADVISOR!?
Angle - MR. HUFFMAN!! HAHAHAHAHA SEE YA MR. HUFFMAN, BY MRS. HUFFMAN! HUFFMAN! HAHAHAHA
(after Lance Rock’s career ends)Tenay - THE MOVE OF THE MATCH IS SPONSORED BY POPEYE’S! WELCOME TO LOUISIANA FAST! AND JUST THAT FAST, BEER MONEY RETAINS THE TNA TAG TEAM TITLES AND LANCE ROCK’S TNA CAREER IS HISTORY!
(as he looks at his ruined locker room with the cops)Booker - DIS IS WRONG, DAWG! JUST LOOK AT IT! DON’T TOUCH ANYTHING, THERE BE FINGERPRINTS EVERYWHERE! HE STOLE FROM ME! MY MOST PRIZED POSSESSION! IT’S GOT DIAMONDS, RUBIES, SAPPHIRES! HOW MUCH TIME IS THAT, 5-10?! GRAND THEFT! ASSAULT AND BATTERY!
Tenay - THIS ALL STARTED AT AGAINST ALL ODDS!
DW - Yes, Booker T successfully defended the legends belt against Shane Sewell, and then AJ came out, took it, and was able to scurry away!
Tenay - On that note, bring us up to date on TNA live events!
DW - I CAN DO THAT!
Abyss - Dr. Stevie, I know I shouldn’t cut myself like that, it just gives me such a great feeling. It feels so good - it reminds me of Christmas morning, when you go and there’s the one present under the tree, and you walk around the tree, unwrap it, and there it is! THAT JONAS BROTHERS CD YOU’VE BEEN WANTING ALL THIS TIME! Do you think I could be a teen idol, too?! (Dr. Stevie shakes head yes) WOW! I SURE WOULD LIKE TO BE A TEEN IDOL, DR. STEVIE! I’d have to lose the mask… I CAN’T LOSE THE MASK, DR. STEVIE!
Booker - THIS GUY’S A MENACE TO SOCIETY! CLASS A FELONY! PUT HIS ASS IN JAIL, MAN! GO GET ‘IM! ALL POINTS BULLETIN! HE GOTS MY MONEY! 10,20, 30 THOU! HIS ASS GOING TO JAIL TONIGHT! (Sharmell spots AJ)
Sharmell - OH BABY!
Booker - WHAT HAPPEN!?
DW - Booker T was once again blindsided by AJ Styles!
Lauren - Scott, can you give us some insight as to what’s about to go down tonight when Mike Tenay gets in the ring to interview both Sting and Kurt Angle?
Steiner - What’s going down (censored)? You are. Later on. Back in the hotel room. DID YOU SEE THAT? THAT’S THREE WEEKS IN A ROW NOW THAT AJ STYLES HAS ATTACKED BOOKER T! I woulda stopped it tonight, but I was in the bathroom taking a dump. Speaking of dumps, the biggest piece of shit of ‘em all, Samo Joe attacking me, like da boogeyman or something. Attacking me from behind!? I could do that with a room full of donuts or twinkies, but no, we’re the Main Event Mafia - we say we’re gonna kick your ass and we do it! GO FIND JOE AND TELL HIM I’M GONNA KICK HIS ASS! (Joe comes from behind and puts a knife to Steiner’s throat) Don’t do it, Joe… THAT WAS A KNIFE!
Tenay - HOW ABOUT JOE’S NATION OF VIOLENCE!? Scott Steiner, the victim
Foley - I’m often asked what my favorite match was, and for many years, it was my 1996 match with Shawn Michaels. In Your House. I was at the top of my game, I was well physically conditioned. In 2004, that answer changed - it was WrestleMania XX, and I was with the Rock. I was okay. The match was good - good enough, but if you’re Mick Foley and you want to exceed your physical limits, good enough wasn’t enough. Fortunately, I was given a second chance to make a last impression and I had a singles match with Randy Orton under hardcore rules, and that good enough wasn’t good enough. I was either going to have the match of a lifetime or leave the body parts out there in the effort. By the time I got out, I was so high on Tori Amos music, and I know that sounds strange, but she sings haunting, beautiful songs that touch me inside, and I knew we’d have a match that people would talk about for years. Randy Orton was one match away from being the guy who was considered to be at the top of the game. After it, I was eating a donut in the parking lot and threw up all over Edmonton. Until I can top it, that match will remain my personal favorite hardcore memory.
Booker - Jeff, what exactly did you found? A company full of nobodies and wannabes?! (fans chant “TNA” passionately) Rumor has it that you started this company out of a flea market. You painted the damn building yourself!
Tenay - TONIGHT, WE’LL HAVE THE CONTRACT SIGNING TO THE MATCH WE ALL WANT TO SEE - STING VERSUS KURT ANGLE AT DESTINATION X. THAT’S BECAUSE OF ONE MATCH - THAT’S BECAUSE OF JEFF JARRETT.
DW - Mike, while you’re in ass kissing mode, why don’t you kiss Sting’s ass as well?
Tenay - EXCUSE ME!?
DW - You heard me - go TO THE BACK, man. Ask Sting to pull his pants down and plant one on him, too.
Tenay - What… THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!
DW - Oh man, don’t act stupid. You know what this is about! You know exactly what this is about.
Tenay - I don’t know what this is about! YOU WANNA EDUCATE ME!?
DW - You want it right here? I’ll be more than happy to educate you. In fact, I’ll educate you and everybody else here! There’s something that needs to be said! Mike, you and have been best friends for nearly seven years - we’ve done everything together. WE’VE CALLED EVERY SINGLE MATCH IN TNA! I’ve been to your house, you’ve been to my house SEVERAL times. Our wives are best friends.
Tenay - DON, WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT!?
DW - Let me FINISH, PLEASE! A few days ago, TNA management held some meetings, folks, and one of the many topics was my future at this announce table. And Mike Tenay, I heard you were at that meeting.
Tenay - SAYS WHO!?
DW - LET ME FINISH! You were at the meeting and said NOTHING in my defense! When your best friend’s topic came up, you had nothing to say. YOU WERE NEUTRAL! You wouldn’t pick a side! Lemme tell ya something people, you put this man on a pedestal, you put him here (puts hand near head) , but I FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS MAN. YOU’RE NOTHING BUT A SELFISH PRICK! YOU COULD’VE DONE THE RIGHT THING, BUT YOU DIDN’T HAVE THE BALLS! I’ll tell you something - I don’t know what my future holds. But I know one thing - no, I know two things. For one, our friendship will never be the same. And number two, you can take this mic and shove it up your ass! (fans cheer wildly)

I actually watched Smackdown. I rather enjoyed it for the most part. The Jeff-Matt stuff is interesting and should have been done a long time ago IMO.

BTW, if anyone can get me some HD screenshots of the Bella Twins from tonight's episode I'd be grateful. Man, they wear red dresses VERY well.

I just watched Smackdown. It was a very good show, but they've blown their wad on a lot of potential WrestleMania or future PPV stuff.

Mizorrison vs. The Colons to unify the titles could have been a Mania match. I was disappointed to see Miz and Morrison lose. I figured the Bellas would turn heel, and my favorite tag team could have both sets of belts, 2 slammies, and 2 women. But alas, it was not to be. Maybe they can still have a titles vs. titles match at Mania.

Vladimir Kozlov (who, discounting the "I love double-double-E" phase, I've always liked a lot) and Undertaker had an awesome match. In any other year, without the previous 2 years' buildup to HBK/Taker, that would have made an excellent Mania match. The finish was one that I thought would work well, but I didn't think it would actually end the match. Bravo.

Matt vs. Jeff... surprisngly, they held off on this. I thought they'd throw the two of them in MitB.

Chavo/Shelton was awesome. Are they building to a 3 or 4 way where the Minorities Title might actually be defended at Mania?

I like Cena, unlike many people here, but I was still happy to be surprised when he was pinned pretty much cleanly.

Overall, a very good show.

I caught that Don West / Mike Tenay exchange, this morning, and it was one of the best things I've seen on Impact in months.
I caught that Don West / Mike Tenay exchange, this morning, and it was one of the best things I've seen on Impact in months.
That's also one of the only thing you've seen on Impact in months, isn't it?

Bryan Danielson gave a postshow speech saying he was never supposed to make it to TV and then gave several reasons why (causing a "best in the world" chant), then says he's suffered a lot of injuries and doesn't know how much longer he can do this, but he's had a lot of friends come and go, but he says today they have one of the best locker rooms in ROH history, but the people who have supported ROH for seven years made this company and thanks them for making it possible to have this first television taping. He said there was just one thing missing, and had the sound guy play the Final Countdown as the ring filled up with wrestlers to close the show.

End of an era
He's retiring again? What number is this?
No.

That quote was from the first TV taping and this is the last time they can use The Final Countdown because Europe sucks.

February 13th: ROH Officials have heard the comments of several fans as it pertains to the ring music used by Bryan Danielson. Rest assured that ROH has exhausted itself trying to find an economically feasible way to keep the loved “Final Countdown” playing at live events, on PPV, and on the upcoming HDNet Television Production. We, unfortunately, are at a standstill. Royalty fees are astronomical, and we need your help. If you are a musician, or know a great band, please email [email protected]. We know that music is a huge part of any event, ROH notwithstanding, and we want to do it right!

The music thing is the same reason PWG stopped selling their DVD's at HighSpots - all of the PWG guys use commercially released music, and on their DVD's they've decided to edit out the entrances entirely to save on the royalties.
That's also one of the only thing you've seen on Impact in months, isn't it?
The word "months" can imply more than two, android.
Is their show going to be on every week?
I think so. Reports are saying the show looks every bit as professional as TNA. They taped the first three episodes of Ring of Honor yesterday and they're taping the next three episodes right now. Show started at 3PM. I think they're going to set up the shows to be a lot like the old syndicated ECW shows. A number of matches to show what the company is about and then they're going to pimp the DVDs and PPVs.

ROH Episode 01

1. Jerry Lynn vs Delirious
2. Kenny King vs Sami Callahan
3. Brent Albright vs Rhett Titus
4. Tyler Black vs Jimmy Jacobs

ROH Episode 02

1. Kevin Steen vs Eddie Edwards
2. Sara Del Ray vs Daizee Haze
3. Claudio Castagnolli vs Sugarfoot Alex Payne
4. Nigel McGuinness vs Jay Briscoe

ROH Episode 03

1. Erick Stevens vs Sterling James Keenan
2. Dark City Fight Club vs Cheech and Cloudy
3. Chris Hero vs Necro Butcher
4. American Dragon Bryan Danielson vs Austin Aries

Looks like a bunch of amazing match ups, esp Danielson V. Aries. What channel (and time) will these be airing on?

Also, didn't know Lynn still wrestles, thought he retired in TNA a few years ago?

So when does this start airing? What day of the week and time slot will the show have?

Jerry Lynn has still been taking indy bookings since eh stopped wrestling actively in TNA. I think he came to ROH last year, but someone else here could give you a better answer to that question.

The show is supposed to debut on HDNet on Saturday, March 21.

8PM.

More match-ups.

ROH Episode 04

01. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Brent Albright
01. Austin Aries vs. Kenny Omega
02. "Dirty" Ernie Osiris vs. Delirious
03. Sara Del Ray & Sassy Steffie vs. Daizee Haze & Neveah
04. Jerry Lynn vs. Brodie Lee

ROH Episode 05

01. Kenny King & Rhett Titus vs. Cheech & Cloudy
02. Eddie Kingston vs. Sami Callahan
03. Bobby Dempsey vs. Orange Cassidy
04. The Necro Butcher vs. Jimmy Jacobs

I'm surprised they brought in Eddie Kingston.

Announced for Raw tonight:

Kozlov vs. Michaels
Randy Orton makes his WrestleMania choice
MITB qualifier: Rey Mysterio vs. Mike Knox vs. Kane

Hmm, Kane or Mysterio. Neither are doing anything right now, and Mysterio's going back to Smackdown following 'Mania. I vote Mysterio just because we're a month from the PPV and he'll be working somewhere on the show. Wouldn't surprise me to see Kane get in as well on some sort of "second chance" match next week or something either.

See, the obvious thing story-wise would be to put Kane in MITB and then have Mysterio/Knox at WM.

Problem is, no one wants to see Kane in the MITB, nor do they care about Mysterio/Knox (the very absurdity of even putting it on the WM card notwithstanding).

So, my prediction will be, uh, that I'll end up not giving a shit either way. ;)

HHH/Orton's segment was cornier than Iowa.

Didn't see anything else, I was watching Heroes. I did catch Maryse taunting Melina, who she evidently attacked at some point. Guess it's the twat title unification match at WM. Snore.

I thought the HHH/Orton segment was pretty good. I'm actually interested in their match even though I've seen them fight like 100 times already.

What was the point of of having HBK fight Koslov? They just wasted that guys undefeated streak which could have been used to put somebody over.

^ It's WWE. That's why. Wasted opportunities are their thing. And, since it's the WWE, you can expect to see five video recaps of that wasted opportunity before tonight's main event.

Bill Watts? Wasn't he one of the reasons behind the accusations of discrimination (and possible civil suits IIRC) at WCW?

Also, awesome to hear Gordon Solie's voice.

They just keep proving how dumb these brands are. Half the Smackdown guys are showing up on RAW tonight. Jesus.

I still think they're doing a good job of making him a credible threat and hiding his weaknesses fairly well. They don't seem to hand out clean wins over Taker too often, and HBK made him look great.

I think Edge is working with an injury, he's still limping from when he stepped awkwardly doing a move (i forget which) against Jeff Hardy on SD a few weeks ago.
