The bad retail experience thread

I was explaining to a couple buddies on COD the other day how I bought the Hardened Edition for $80, Kept the Game and Elite and put up my old MW3 game, the Founder code and book on Ebay and it baffled them.
 
I always wondered if CAGs usually have that problem with people not listening to them about prices. That happens to me ALL the time. What usually happens is that they want to buy a game for $60 somewhere and I tell them they can get it for 20 to 30 dollars less at another place. They usually respond by saying "oh well" or "i don't care" because they would rather pay the $60 to get it quicker.

One time a friend of mine wanted to take the train to a Gamestop in Union Square to buy a game for $60. I told him that if he would just wait 2 days he could get it for $30 at the Best Buy a few blocks away from our school. He refused and still got it for $60. I just don't get it... I mean.. sure people can do what they want with their money but I don't see how it isn't a good idea to just wait 2 days. He could've gotten 2 $30 games instead. Oh well. :)
