nintendolink007

CAGiversary!
Well they are re-releasing The Big O Collection, which btw is cheap over at DeepDiscountDVD.com then i seen anywhere, but can anyone tell me if they announced a Anime Legends for The Big O II as well. I want to avoid picking up the volumes if they are gonna release the boxset later.

No boxset for Big O or Big O 2. Only you get is CRAPPY BRICK complete Collection (Anime Legend). That's why i rarely buy anything from Bandai.

I haven't seen anything yet about Big O Collection II Anime Legend, but they would be crazy not to release that as well.

Can someone explain to me what "brick" means? I dont even have any Big O dvd sets, been trying to get the previous collection sets brand new for a good price but having no luck.

"Brick" refers to the large Anime Legends dvd cases, which hold multiple discs (like the one used for Big O collection I. The packaging feels fairly cheap, and it doesn't come with a lot of the bonuses that some people expect from anime sets. However, I personally like them, because they are pretty cheap and give me the opportunity to see shows that I would not buy at full price.

haha thats what i got for Big -o even though i dont like the box set the show is awsome

Ah thank you people for helping me out about the sets. I picked up the first season on webnesday and at this moment just finished watching the last episode. Its nice to finally have the set and cant wait to pick up Season 2, but i do agree with you, the set is unneccesary bulky. I might track down the single volumes for season 2 and one if they are cheap, then i can sell the bulk set off, i just wish they were smarter and know that the thinpak are alot better. Getting Big O II shouldnt be a problem but finding the volumes of Big O is.

Or even better i might just buy the thinpack dvd cases and just transfer it to that, does anyone know where i can find a templet so i can make Front & Back Cover along with the side Title for Thinpacks?

I agree. Brick sets also take up less shelf space than your average box set. Sometimes it's cool to have the original releases due to the amazing art work (Last Exile immediately comes to mind), but overall I like these brick set releases much more because they're cheap(er) and take up less shelf space. But, that's just my opinion.
