Welcome to the Official CAG Blockbuster/Gamerush video game deal thread.

SPECIAL NOTE (B1G1 free on $14.99 and under used games through August 4th):
All used games under $14.99 are buy one get one free through August 4th NOW OVER.

The second post has games that you may want to trade in to Gamestop to transfer some credit from BB to GS. Unfortunately with the end of the $10 extra promo at Gamestop this is much less useful than before. Some people may have the $15 bonus coupon or want to use the current GS deal (trade 3 get an extra 10%, trade 4 get an extra 20%, trade 5 get an extra 30%) so we'll keep that post going until the B1G1 free ends at Blockbuster.

Even though the B1G1 sale is now over, I'm leaving this info up for a few days for those who bought stuff and still want to trade it in to Gamestop (you have till the 10th there).

SPECIAL NOTE #2 (DS Lite's and new DS games now available at most BB stores!):
Starting just on July 15th, most Blockbuster stores got shipments of DS Lites and a wide assortment of new DS games that they've never had for sale in the past. Titles include NSMB, Professor Layton, Mario Party DS, and High School Musical ;).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ALERT: Preorders available for a few select games at most Blockbuster stores

Most regular Blockbuster locations (in addition to Gamerush stores of course) are currently taking preorders for NCAA 09, Madden 09, Star Wars Force Unleashed, Fallout 3, Soul Calibur IV, and a few others (YMMV on the cashier knowing about it). $5 is required for a deposit.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is this thread for?
The primary function of this thread is to discuss current trade-in and sale promos and to post any trade-in values you have obtained. Please post trade-in values with the date of the trade (or quote) and system. One of the CAG Wiki editors will then add them to the Wiki.

It is also permissible to discuss system availability, credit issues, etc. As long as it is related to game trades or sales at Blockbuster it is generally OK to discuss it here.

Unlike more tightly focused clearance threads, it is OK to discuss more general Gamerush/Blockbuster issues here as well as trade requests as long as they are kept to a minimum (and usually just during specific deals).

Due to the questionable stability of the Gamerush brand, it is also permissible to discuss ways of converting credit from Blockbuster to other stores (ie, which games may be used for trading in to other stores such as Gamecrazy or EB/GS). As of right now, we have no indication of Gamerush's imminent demise, but given Blockbuster's ongoing financial difficulties we need to be aware of the possibility.

What is this thread NOT for?
Please do not discuss the flipping of games from one Gamerush store to another should another such opportunity arise (through trade-in deals which we haven't had recently anyway). It is one thing to "play the market" with trade-in values from one chain to another (GR to GC to EB) - free market buy low/sell high and all that. But taking advantage of loopholes in a single store's policies/promos is frowned upon and has, in the past, led to trade-in bans from GR.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blockbuster Game Trading Info
- You must sign up for a trade account in addition to your regular Blockbuster account
- You must sign up for a new trade account at every store you wish to trade at, even if using the same main account
- Trade-in credit can be placed onto your store account or onto a "Value" card
- Credit on store accounts can only be used at that one store
- However, credit can be transferred from the store account to a card at any time
- Value cards can be used at any location
- Clerks at one store cannot see your trading/purchasing history at another store via your account
- Gamerush stores often do not get new game stock until the Friday of the release week, thus a few days later than most retailers

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gamerush vs. regular Blockbusters
All Blockbuster game-related discussion belongs here. Most threads created in the Deals forum will be merged in to here. There seems to be the impression by many CAGs that if they don't have a Gamerush store near them then this thread does not apply to them. However, regular (non-GR) Blockbuster stores often run the same promos and generally have the same trade-in values. I'm going to elaborate on the last sentence as people apparently don't understand that when I say regular BB's have the same trade-in values as Gamerush that it means [hightlight]regular Blockbuster stores accept game trade-ins just like Gamerush stores.

The key differences:
- Only Gamerush stores sell used video game hardware and generally have a much wider selection of new hardware. Many regular BB stores had a PS3 bundle available over Christmas and since then they have expanded their hardware sales. As of right now (Spring/Summer 2008) most Blockbuster stores are now selling PS3's, Xbox 360's, and Wii's. They just started in mid July selling DS Lites at most stores as well. As a result of not selling used hardware, however, regular Blockbuster stores will not take hardware in for trades.

- Both Gamerush and regular Blockbuster stores take preorders for new games for a $5 deposit (or you can pay any other amount beyond that). Gamerush stores will get many more games in than the regular stores but unfortunately a preorder at either place is not a guarantee you will get the game. Sometimes they do not get certain titles in even if you preorder them months in advance.

- While many Gamerush stores have cut back on their new game stock, some regular (non-GR) Blockbusters have started selling new games. They usually have a very limited selection of top-selling new 360, PS3, and Wii games. I will be maintaining a list below here for those with Blockbuster credit but no access to a GR store.

- Trade-in values are controlled centrally and are uniform across all Gamerush and Blockbuster locations EXCEPT if the Blockbuster is a franchise location. You can tell from the receipt if your store is a franchise store. All Gamerush stores are corporate-owned so they will have uniform pricing.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New games that may be available for purchase at non-GR Blockbusters
For those with access to only regular Blockbuster stores but wanting to take advantage of the decent trade-in values Blockbuster offers, this is the list of new games being sold by many regular Blockbuster locations. Note that they will generally not get new games on the release date. They will most likely have them a few days to weeks later. Stock is usually very limited and they do not seem to get restocks of most games. So once something is sold out they will most likely not get it back. Many of the "older "new games in the list below may be hard to find at this point.

Guitar Hero On Tour

yesterday was my first day of flipping so i put in a good 100-115 to start off with a quick start. ended up today with 320 in GS credit, could of had more if i used the NCAA coupon but i cant be that greedy.

For those of you with like 700+ in credit, how long have you been flipping? i got like 320 now and wanna try to get it up just to see what i can do, but im tempted to buy up all the old ps2 games i want

I currently have about $350 in BBV credit and $210 GS credit. It is all basically FREE. I have invested $150 over the last month(the amount of time I have been flipping), however I have picked up MGS4, DS3 Controller, some candy, some sodas, and a set of Rockband Drum Silencers over that same time. If you add all of that up its more then the $150 out of pocket that I have spent.

So basically I currently have $560 in credit between the two stores and I havent touched the B1G1 yet. Planning on doing that tomorrow and hopefully finding some more stores with bigger game selections. Im debating if I want to go through the trouble of going to different GS's for each pair transaction but if I get like 20+ games to trade in I think Ill just do it all at 1 or two GS's.

Be weary though, BBV disks vary in condition, got a not so great condition game, went to a GS that doesnt often check games for condition, and I still got hit with referb fee =/ Eh, a two dollar lost, didnt feel like coming back after a day out.

I noticed these two had gone down since IO put them in his list (well actually, his big 'ol CSV data has them correct, but the other list doesn't.)

These are GS TIV after edge and $5 per game promo:

Juiced 2: $11.60
Monster Madness: $10.50

Yes you can exchange an item for something else similar in price. While at GS tonight i ran into a manager. I tried pulling the $15 coupon and it was a no go had to reserve NCAA. She tried charging me for refurbs and i took those games back home with me. She also didn't accept duplicates what a *****. I will avoid her at all costs.

TIV @ GS (all 360)
Avatar- $5
Spiderman 3- $5
Spiderman Friend or Foe- $5
Shrek 3- $5
Virtua Tennis 3- $6
NBA street homecourt- $5
Conan- $5
just got back from a day of flipping..originally invested about $100 cash, turned it into $180 BBV credit, and turned that into $340 GS credit. Only downside, i should have put 5 bucks down to get the NCAA coupon, ill get over it though cause i made out pretty nicely.

Here are some side stories/notes:
-Ended up buying a couple games taht had no disc in the case so i gotta return them to BBV
-One disc I bought had "the red ring of death" according to one GS and couldnt trade it in cause it was burnt, so i took it to another GS and they took it.
-Delco. PA BBV will not look at you funny if you are a 20 year old guy buying 4 copies of pirates, and a crap load of other crappy games
-Wiggers will eye you up and think of robbing you if they see you with 12 or so 360 games in your hand at BBV. (dont worry they are just wiggers)
-Sticker prices are often wrong. Ask for price checks! a few games on the list here may be priced higher in store, but should ring up as the lower price posted
-Do not bring your gf. she will make you buy her shit because she sees you making all this money in store credit.
LMAO at your notes. Very nice. And good job on the credit building...almost double your money is always nice!

Whn i buy games from BBV i alway ask them to let me check the disc before they bring me up. If the disc look mess up i'll make them get the decent copy for me =) thy will have to get it from their renting inventory if there aren't anymore. I got screwed whn i made purchase of Juiced 2 at BBV didn't check the disc and it hs a nice circle of scratches on it brought it back asking for exchange for other game they wouldn't let me and took out a copy from rent inventory to give me.

It looks like everyone is focussed on BBV to GS conversion of credit. I cleaned out my local Blockbusters. Now time to do it in reverse. I can't wait to see the next big flip from GS back to BBV. Any advice?

It's really hard for me to avoid being noticed during trade-ins. Ever since I bleached my hair, I'm instantly recognizable. X-D

Oh well. Will try to flip credit from Blockbuster to Gamestop this Saturday. There will be a long run back and forth from the mall to BB back to the mall (where GS is), but it'll be worth it. The only problem is I don't have that $15 coupon. I may have to make do with the $10 trade-in addition to avoid any suspicious glares. :(

Maybe I'll preorder NCAA 09 first before I mention the coupon, then hurry to BB? My only opportunity!

Io, you are the man. Thanks for all of the work you've put into this thread - I've got $60 in leftover BB credit that's going to become GS credit in the next day or two (which'll probably end up as BB credit again). The girlfriend appreciates all of the TV shows I've rented for free. :)

i have agree with gs being uber picky today for the first time ever i got hit with refurb fees blah . all in all i basically doubled not bad for 2 flips could have been better but ehh how can i complain.thinking about giving it one more go not sure yet.

No one think about flipping F4 from TRU to BB anymore? XD they're still getting $20 a piece which isn't bad imo. Going to do just 1-2 more copies to build up some more credit in BB for the B1G1 Flip to GS.
Anyway I've forgot to say this this entire time but better late than never. THANKS ALOT IO! I OWE YOU BIG TIME! Keep up the good work bud! You're my idol XD

three different BB, picked up 32 games for $259 BB credit including tax....traded those into two GS for $396 credit. Ratio of about 1.5. (AVERAGE BB credit is running about 4 to 1)

So about $65 cash to almost $400 credit at GS (which is MUCH more valuable than BB credit not only because there is more to buy at GS, but there is ALWAYS another BB/GR flip right around the corner...)
aahh you guys are amazing. How much of those are from your pocket guys? I'mma take best advantage of this b1g1 and 10$ extra to build up some decent credit between GS and BB
I started with $40 in BBV credit about 2 weeks ago. The first week I didn't do any flipping. I've been flipping for about 1 week or so(maybe even 10 days) and I have $75 in GS credit and $48 in BBV credit. I'm hoping to hit the magical mark of $500 in credit between the two stores by the end of June. I could have easily had another $100+ in BBV credit if I did trade in 2 of the same game. Currently, I only have one store that I can trade games into.
Be weary though, BBV disks vary in condition, got a not so great condition game, went to a GS that doesnt often check games for condition, and I still got hit with referb fee =/ Eh, a two dollar lost, didnt feel like coming back after a day out.
My BBV's discs are almost perfect. I've gotten one that was scratched, but not even heavily. Just mildly scratched. Either they resurface them or they clean them very well.

Wow. Reading some of these $500-$700 credits is making me jealous. I don't have the time, energy or intial money to do that kind of flipping, but dang....

I also try to do flips when I really want something and keep a low profile.

$84 out of pocket into $734 GS. It took me all day long with multiple accounts and cleaned out all my BBs. I did spend about $50 in gas alone, but so worth it. So $134 to $734, aint bad at all. Now im just going to wait to find a solid 2x flip back to BB and call it quits, or maybe just a break ;P

So I went out this afternoon and hit up 4 stores. I was focusing (wrongly) on $15 titles which ended up getting me as much as the $10 titles did. Turned $297 BBV which cost $36 out of pocket to start with into:

360
Avatar
Armored Core 4
Moto GP 06
Moto GP 07
Sega Rally Revo
World Series of Poker 2007

PSP
Dead Head Fred
Dungeon Siege
Field Commander
Killzone Liberation
Parapa the Rapper

DS (surprised to find this complete at BBV)
Star Fox Command

and $311 in GS credit. Tomorrow I'll flip some back and accumulate more, plus post trade-in values. Got to go to work now though. :cry:
People are looking to pay less for games on ebay so dont know how that will turn out. I cash out by buying ps3 80gb bundles or wiis that way you not only cash out but pocket atleast $50 in the process. Or you can buy the 40gb ps3 which gets you the retail value minus the tax on ebay but still good IMO. Trying to move that much credit:drool: You must have plenty of gas to burn....The only time i sold games on ebay was this past week during the FF4 from TRU trade. Bought a couple battlefields for the ps3 for $10 + change (thank you ff4) and sold them on ebay for $60 shipped a pop.
I just paid $65 for BF:BC at BBV. But it was with credit.

TiV's
All :ps3:.

UT3- $30
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion - $13
Stuntman: Ignition -$9
Assassin's Creed - $16
Warhawk - $26
man 500$ credit that's nice. How much of that was from your pocket? I hope one day i can make my 42$ credit @ GS and 30$ credit at BB to around 200-300 lol
Working with what you've got now I'd say it's entirely possible (rather easy to be honest) to clear the $200 - $250 mark in one day depending on your lists, store locations, how much time and gas you can afford to lose, how well you map out your hunt, how reasonable the clerks are with coupons and how lucky you are in terms of what's left when after your competition leaves. I'd say I spent about $115 - $125 out of pocket on the first day because I didn't have any trade accounts to speak of in any BB and took advantage of nearly every copy of Viking and Condemned 2 in my area. During the same day I managed to end up with $250 after a 5 - 6 hour hunt.

Now I have $327 after today's events (out of pocket only about $15) and am aspiring to clear $500 tomorrow with another hunt so I can finally purchase my MGS4 PS3 Bundle. Then after I recover my funds and the next great combo deal starts a 360 is next on my list. Then Wii (maybe another one for my family + nephews) and finally I can start stockpiling credit for what most flippers do with it - Preordering/buying new releases.

But yeah, I'd say with a little elbow grease and a whole lot of patience you're in great shape to start making some money. Hell... if I (a total greenhorn) just started Monday and is a mere 8 games with $25 BB TIV away from a $500 PS3 after three days of only spending close to $150 out of pocket then just imagine what damage you'll do by the end of the week from now.
For those of you with like 700+ in credit, how long have you been flipping?
Seriously. School us sometime. We could all use a lesson in advanced flipping because next time I want to clear $500 (provided I can for the first time tomorrow >__>

I traded in Xmen (360) and only got $1 for it, so it wasnt eligible for the sale. Sucks because I bought two of them, but I guess I can give the other away as a gift.

I stopped at 4 Blockbusters today and spent about $500 credit. Check the spoiler for the values I received:

360
Arcade Unplugged: $6.99 -> $7.20 ($3.70 profit per copy)
Armored Core 4: $14.99 -> $12.70 ($5.20 profit per copy, woot)
Call of Duty 3: $12.99 -> $9.40 ($2.90 profit per copy)
Conan: $14.99 -> $10.50 (it dropped X_X)
Crackdown: $14.99 -> $9.40 ($1.90 Profit)
Crash of the Titans: $14.99 -> $11.60 ($4.10 profit)
Fantastic 4: $9.99 -> $9.40 ($4.40 profit per copy)
Golden Compass: $9.99 -> $9.40 (4.40 profit)
Juiced 2: $14.99 -> $11.60 (dropped, but still $4.10 profit)
Lost Planet: $14.99 -> $10.50 ($3 profit)
Monster Madness: $14.99 -> $10.50 ($3 profit)
Sega Rally Revo: $14.99 -> $10.50 ($3 profit)
Spiderman Friend or Foe: $12.99 -> $10.50 ($4 profit)
Spiderman 3: $9.99 -> 10.50 ($5.50 profit)
Stranglehold (LE & Reg): $14.99 -> $10.50 ($3 profit)
Superman Returns: $9.99 -> $7.75 ($2.75 profit)
WWE SVR 07: $9.99 -> $9.40 ($4.40 profit)

Some good money makers in there. I got a copy of Pikmin & Paper Mario (GC) for myself. I still have left to trade:

Armored Core x3
Fantastic 4 x2
Sega Rally Revo x3
Monster Madness x1
Conan x4
WWE SVR 07 x1
Stranglehold x2
Test Drive Unlimited x1
TMNT x2
Cars x1
C.O.D. 3 x1
Lost Planet x1
EDF 2019 x1
Superman x1
PotC x3
Farcry x2
Spiderman 3 x3

Gonna be a busy day tomorrow. I've still yet to hit up the gamerushes, which I know have boatloads of 2x profit games. They keep all the discs behind the counter, so I knew it'd take a really long time if I bought a lot of games. I kinda want to dump what I have first because I dont know when GS drops their values. Dont want to be stuck with a lot of crappy games.

Don't need to post all the details since all the numbers have been posted on the past 2 pages, but i flipped about 200 in BBV credit for epic win :)

unfortunately my big problem is not with competition...it's with availability...i got 1 GS and 2 BBVs within 5 miles of my house...the rest are within 30-40 miles...so it kinda sux for me :(
Thanks INK. It wasn't the free game, Tony Hawk was. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get something a little more expensive though. I'd like to get Double Agent or Bully.
I was trying to play Double Agent the other day and sort of enjoying it but I think MGS4 spoiled me >_

Well... I'm not entirely sure what to make of this,but... here it is:

Edit: just wanted to add Seth_Gecko009's name to the quote, so he can get some of the credit if this is true and, more importantly, be the one torn to shreds if it isn't!

It's $12.70 after EDGE and bonus so it'll be a good game to flip. Can anyone get this confirmed? I'll be checking it out in the morning if no one knows.

thanks again to all the CAGers who have contributed to the knowledge or TIVs involved in this flipping addiction. i haven't run the numbers, but i think, from june to now, i've turned $150 into about $750. i went to 5 bbvs and got these x360 games:

armored core (x2)
bullet witch (x3)
cars
chromehounds (x3)
conan (x2)
golden compass (x3)
juiced 2
just cause
lost planet
perfect dark zero
pirates of the carribean (x2)
sega rally revo (x6)
spiderman friend or foe (x4)
test drive unlimited
virtua tennis 3
wwe smackdown v. raw 07 (x4)
xmen

if any bay area cag wants anything, let me know quick, before i trade these in.

couple follow up questions:

1) it's really freaking hot - i'm not used to triple digits. should i really run around and dump these at GS now, or can it wait a few days? some people say TIVs update at GS nightly, but will these titles really change that much?

2) combine the $10 or $15 GS promo, with the 25% off GS promo, with the b1g1 BBV promo, and you get the perfect storm. how often can you actually flip from BBV->GS? is it rare, or will i have other opportunities to turn my $300+ BBV credit into GS?

I would say that you should trade in as soon as you can, prices do fluctuate, so it might drop $1 in a day, or even as much as $9 in some cases. Of course, there are those times when it rises, but thats even rarer than a $9 drop.

2) combine the $10 or $15 GS promo, with the 25% off GS promo, with the b1g1 BBV promo, and you get the perfect storm. how often can you actually flip from BBV->GS? is it rare, or will i have other opportunities to turn my $300+ BBV credit into GS?
I wouldn't be surprised if some TIVs got lowered at GS. A lot of games were traded in today...

Trading from BBV to GS doesn't happen very often. If it does happen it is usually at a loss or a very close 1:1 ratio. Right now we're getting a 1:1.5 or greater which is awesome. The last time I recall being able to trade from BBV to GS is using Super Smash Bros. with a +35% TIV coupon. I'm not even sure if that's correct, but that's what I remember. Or was it Halo 3? Blah, too many threads ago.

i think most of us who have more than 700 in credit at either store used clearance games at other stores to trade in, not just going back and forth from gs and bbv, cuz you can only do so much between stores during certain promos
thanks again to all the CAGers who have contributed to the knowledge or TIVs involved in this flipping addiction. i haven't run the numbers, but i think, from june to now, i've turned $150 into about $750. i went to 5 bbvs and got these x360 games:

armored core (x2)
bullet witch (x3)
cars
chromehounds (x3)
conan (x2)
golden compass (x3)
juiced 2
just cause
lost planet
perfect dark zero
pirates of the carribean (x2)
sega rally revo (x6)
spiderman friend or foe (x4)
test drive unlimited
virtua tennis 3
wwe smackdown v. raw 07 (x4)
xmen

if any bay area cag wants anything, let me know quick, before i trade these in.
You impress me. $150 to $700!? You must teach me your superior ways... soon. Like... now. Before I threaten to kill you so that you may never pass on your elite flipping skills to your future children. If I was within the area I'd take a few off of your hands easily.

How many BBs and GS do you have within a reasonable distance of your home? Everyone defines 'reasonable' differently I know but I'm working with 7 BBs (one I don't trade at because of Mr. Why So Serious? though ironically enough he was the manager that allowed me to exchange my first game so he's skating on thin ice instead of scraping the bottom of the ocean right now, haha) and only 5 GS.

aah good old Two Worlds...my BB has a ton that I traded in back when it was $20 on Gamefly and netted $32 at BB. never thought I would be buying Two Worlds again. lol

Yeah i think it is totally possible for me to turn those credits into 200-300. Competition in utah? Believe me XD you can find almost anything posted on this forum here XD There aren't really many CAG or SD in utah i guess. I know few BB that has multiple copies of those games on the list and I am going to keep use all my credit tomorrow to flip over to GS. Looking to spend around 50$ credit @ BBV tomorrow and hopefully making it into 100$+ over @ GS. You know what suck is that I don't have an EDGE card =( so i lose 10% ever game today. I'm going to get one tomorrow because they're offering 9.99 for the card and 12 issus of GI.

smacks is UT3 for ps3 really 30 tiv at BBV? i bought a copy off of gamefly for 20 bucks used.

I wish I had a GR around here, I wanna keep flipping my credit but i doubt ill be able to get my credit back to GS if i flip my 320 gs credit into BBV credit.

Ahh fuck...got a couple games but according to the op I can't get in on the 2 games get the $10 bump

Games I got:
Golden Compass
Jumper
Monster Madness
Cars

Total would be $35.40 but after this line I'm unsure:

This denotes games that are eligible for the $15 bonus for 2 games at Gamestop

Would I be able to get in on the +$10 at GS or am I sol?

$100->$240 at GS via Target and other clearance using +$10 promo (total $240 GS, $0 BBV)
$50->$360 at BBV via F4:RoSS (total $240 GS, $360 BBV)
$160->$240 at BBV via GS 25% promo (total $80 GS, $600 BBV)
$280->??? at GS via BBV b1g1, with leftover $320 at BBV

i've got 5 GS and 5 BBV within reasonable distance. really like 8 BBV, but a few don't trade and a few didn't b1g1.

where in the bay area are you located? and i'm assuming u go to ucla? enjoying our triple digit weather?

Im amazed that you guys have found this many games at your BBV.... I guess though with the expanded list its a lot easier. Ill be making my trips tomorrow so hopefully I have the same success. Looking to end up with around $500 in GS credit at the end of the day. I have $210 GS right now and $350 in BBV credit. So if I can find enough games to spend around $200-250 of the BBV credit and turn that to $300-400 of GS credit Ill be in great shape and very happy. :D

oh yeah weir thing today. When i flip my BBV credit to GS. The dude @ gs put the credits on a EDGE card for me but i didn't buy any edge card. He just put my credit on an edge card that he sells. Do you guys think that my edge card will work for the 10% bonus? o.o

Thank you.

So Chunky was right on the money. If only I had fucking double and triple checked the TRU I originally hit when I found out about F4. I think isometime between the three days I had neglected the store a clerk piled them into the THEN COMPLETELY BARE clearance bin for all to see. By then I was so discouraged after the clerk I had chatted with assumed they were selling them on Ebay her jaw damn near melted off of her face when I corrected her by mistake.

Ah well. Regardless the TIV remained stable and none of the local stores had their inventory counters corrected so all was well. Live and learn I suppose plus I did get to experience at least one F4 flip yesterday at the original 30 TIV which was nice. But you can guarantee for damn sure I won't let another $5 > $30 flip pass me by and that's real. I've got to seriously invest in a color printer. ._.'

south bay, ucla alumni, freaking heat and humidity (i am originally from chicago, but cali has turned me soft and i can't stand cold or humidity (extremes) now)...

Instead of doing any real work, I spent half the day flipping games. My main goal was to move credit from BBV to GS but i found copies of Condemned 2 and History Channel and Fatal Inertia and couldn't resist.

In any case, I am picky about the games I get from BBV to flip to GS cause I don't want to get turned down at GS.

So I started out a couple months ago flipping American Idol from Target ($15) to BBV ($35). I bought a bunch of games from Target and Kmart and now I have $702 in credit with a cash outlay of $200. I think when I hit $1000 I'll quit. Mainly cause the game isn't as fun as it was when I started and because I have nothing to buy. I have a 360 and a wii and I don't want a ps3. What the hell am I gonna do with $1000 in credit, a backlog of like 20 games, and no time?

nope not unless it has a barcode sticky + an account number (not to be confused with the card number which all edge cards have preprinted on them)

i lost my edge card, and noone can reprint a barcode for me. so i have to use a gamestop business card with my card number written on it until january comes.

with all this talk of ppl get all this credit, i guess im gonna do a second run tomorrow and clean up my area BBvs for crappy games. I should be able to pick up a copy of sega superstars and that F word (fatal? final?) inertia game after work.

Its more about the hunt than the actual game. I dont have time or the resources to actually make a killing off of this, but it builds up minor credit for the few items that I get here and there.
