Man, last night's game was so great to see the Skins fall again to the Cowboys. We really have their number and it seems like they can never beat us.
Some of the Skins fans were whining all night long about how the refs were gift wrapping the game for us. Well, it's funny because they like to forget about the times when the calls went in their favor.
This was a good win for the Cowboys who are now 2-1 while the lowly Skins are in the NFC East basement!

That was a good game, I love Parcells... 2nd best coach in football.
I can't wait for Dallas to get Drew Bledsoe after Testaverde retires, imagine Bledsoe and Terry Glenn with Parcells again... He'd probably have a heart attack.

I dunno what game you guys were watching but it was a pretty weak game, both qbs were blowin, as well as their respective rbs. The D was decent as well as Cowboys Wrs thats about it.

Dude, you don't understand. The rivalry between Dallas and the Skins has been very heated in the past and goes back a long, long time. Yes, the game wasn't very "good" to most fans, but to us Cowboys and Skins fans, it's always a good game when the two play each other.

Now, after the game is a different story. The Skins have traditionally whined about them getting robbed about this or that. Very few Skins can acknowledge a beating by Dallas. Now, Dallas certainly didn't "beat down" Washington last night. In fact, Washington outperformed us on offense.

The skins got ripped off with that PI call in the first qtr. that was def offensive PI. That could have been the difference in the game. Dallas has been lucky cause the newer guys have been making major rookie mistakes

Well, Gardner was pushing off big time on Reeves on that long bomb at the end of the game. If it wasn't for Gibb's bad use of his timeouts, he could have tied the game on that play.

Also, the refs gave Portis the catch when the ball very obviously touched the ground and they let him get up after he was tackled on the ground and run for about 10 more yards.

The roughing the passer call on Wiley was pretty weak, too. That set up some points for the Skins, too.

Overall, the refs screwed the pooch on both sides. Some went for Dallas and some went for Washington. In the end, the better coach won the game, IMO.

I grew up in DC, and having said that have been a Redskins fan since then. The rivalry between these two teams is legendary. Dallas is the only team that I pretty much know ahead of time that the Skins will lose too. I don't know what it is, they just have no skills against them.

Good to have Gibbs back though.

agreed

As a Cowboys fan, I gotta say I loved last night's game. I agree the refs sucked, but it did work out in both teams favor. The Skins might have had a chance if Brunell was on his back so much or there wasn't a gross mis-management of the clock. (Gibbs should know better).

Who got hit harder?

A. Brunell hit by Dixon in the fourth
B. Coles hit by Williams in the first
C. Gardner hit by Williams to end the game

If that last reception was caught and able to go out of bounds, they could've kicked a field goal and tied the game. I think both teams did a shitty job and one team just got luckier than the other and ended up winning.

It was a good rivalry game, but the questionable penalty calls and Washington's horrid use of their timeouts in the second half made it look more like a classic Lion's game.
What's up with Coles?? Looked like he had hands of stone most of the game.

I'm not sure who I hate more...the Skins of the Cowboys. Living here in Va. I can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Skins fan, but man are the Cowboys assholes. I guess it's a toss up. Go Steelers!!

What a total lack of respect. That makes the Skins loss even more funny in my book. Gibbs didn't even have the balls to come up, look Parcells in the face and tell him good game.

He had to be a bitch and walk off without looking his rival in the face. A very bad show of sportsmanship.
