One of these days I'll actually play some of my games online. Two months into my Gold account without a single online play.
What do you own that you can play online? I find it odd that wouldn't just try something out to see how it worked.
She has actually never played any games on it. She bought it as a fancy DVD player. Then she bought a PS3 because it was a Blu-Ray player. She also has a 64" DLP HDTV that the PS3 is hooked up to, and a 32" Samsung LCD HDTV that the 360 is hooked up to.

I, on the other, have no HDTV's and the most Next-gen console I own is a Wii, and that doesn't count.
Dang your Grandma is into tech. My Grandma was afraid of it. I mean, problems we had with my Grandma were:

-She refused to get a color TV for a while.
-She refuses to operate a VCR
-She refuses to operate a pushbutton phone (she only wanted those old dial phones)
-She refuses cable TV.
-She refuses using a microwave since she was afraid they'd give cancer.
-She refused to allow anything hooked up to a TV since she was afraid it was going to break the TV.

This was stuff she said back in the early to mid 90's while she was still living. She was afraid of any technology (she was very old fashioned). This was just some of the things she refuse to use/have.

My grandma does pretty well. She has a computer w/ internet that she e-mails with and even plays some simple online games I think. She also has a DVR that she can work. Mom was telling me she sometimes hits a button repeatedly when it doesn't respond fast enough and then stuff gets screwed up, but she's not shy about calling the cable company and demanding they fix it.
Damn, the SMG deal on Amazon went by quick.
What was the price?
This CC ad made me think of you TMK.
No offense. ;)
Doesn't really look like me IMO.
See, if you posted that in the GGT, you couldn't tell us about your steak, T-bone.
I post that stuff all the time in the GGT. I can't remember if I one time posted complaining about my food tasting like crap.
COD4 is the best Multiplayer game of this generation so far. MGO is probably second.
I tend to dislike most FPS, but I actually really liked CoD4. Not sure if it's my favorite multi-player game, but I do like playing it. My level is still quite low though. :whistle2:(
What do you own that you can play online? I find it odd that wouldn't just try something out to see how it worked.
I have COD4, Halo 3, Burnout Revenge, GTA4, Gears, and I'm sure a few more that are XBL compatible. I've had COD4 for a about a month now, and it still isn't even unwrapped. I probably haven't logged more than 20 hours on that thing since I moved down here in April.
Why? It is my personal opinion. What would you say is the best MP game of this generation?
I'd probably have to say Gears of War. COD4 is a fine choice, but MGO? You're out of your mind.

The funny thing is, my grandma knows nothing about technology and uses it very little. However, she is quite rich and always wants to have next greatest thing to show it.

However, she does retarded things like insisting on unplugging her cable modem when she isn't using the computer, because she wants to save electricity. Also for awhile she wouldn't let anyone use the wireless router because she didn't like the "Waves" going around in her house.

EDIT: Well I haven't played GoW online yet, I want to, but I haven't. Also, I just like MGO, I have alot of fun playing it.
Forget the idea of getting my Grandma to use a computer. Heck, my Mom doesn't even know how to send emails/check emails. Some of my Aunts are the same way too.

I think it reminds him of you because of the expression...kinda like the one you have in that one picture of you in a raft.

A source who wishes to stay anonymous (should strongly be treated as a RUMOR) has informed us that Microsoft has teamed up with Samsung to release its Xbox 360 in other electronics (TV sets). He provided us with what he deems to be the X-Series LCD (XS40R360A model to be exact and claims it will feature the following - built in Xbox 360, 4 USB ports, 512MB HDD space, power button right of light and is set for a November 2008 release in US and Europe.

Now you have to worry about your TV getting a RROD too #-o
Why? It is my personal opinion. What would you say is the best MP game of this generation?
My personal opinion is Team Fortress 2.

But no one cares about my opinion.

Although the $14 credit doesn't show up on my Amazon account yet. I guess I'll give it until Monday at least before contacting them about that. The e-mail made it sound like I should already see the credit.
dallow: http://www.stootsi.com/

Go go go!!!
Nice, but I just bought plane tickets for about the same price.

I'll pick one up after the price drop.
Getting a used one on CL, there's lots of deals on there everyday so I shouldn't have a problem.
Amazon gave me back $14 on my SSBB purchase from the prior sale.

So I got SSBB + a $10 GC for $26. :whee:
Nice...I knew I should have bit when they had the GC going. Oh well....$26 still good.

It's not for me, its for an upcoming B-Day gift.
Yeah I would never buy a TV with a built in console. Dumbest idea ever.
Yeah i wouldn't either.

How's that TV/VCR combo working out for ya?
Why? It is my personal opinion. What would you say is the best MP game of this generation?
Stranglehold
Yeah i wouldn't either.

I avoid those as well. Keep it seperate and then you don't have to replace everything when one thing breaks.
I think it reminds him of you because of the expression...kinda like the one you have in that one picture of you in a raft.
When looking at it more carefully, it kind of does. Also, the person was holding a PlayStation controller, which may be why dallow thought of me.

I have since bought a cheap SD card and just keep it in the card reader to copy over saves occassionally.

All of the above TMK/LP.
They should have made the drive external too.
Bitches.
How much was it?
They wouldn't tell me either.

I did some digging and I think it was $35.

Nah, it's because dallow is a racist and thinks all black guys look alike. :shame:
You only have to pay $19 to get the Map Pack too! What a steal!
I know! $20 for maps to a shitty mode!

AWESOME

Almost as awesome as releasing a map pack for free for then charging $10 after a week ala TimeShit

I think my ISP upped my connection speed. Before the max I could get on a torrent was maybe 150 kB/s, now I easily get 350 kB/s on most well seeded torrents.
I need to sell my copy of SMG before too long. I have 14 stars left until I've collected them all.
How much are you going to sell it for?
