The Combined EA Games Price Drops(Goldeneye, LOTR, Urbz, DJ:FFNY)$30 All Systems
how is golden eye (gamecube version) and is it worth the price that is set right now.
Sir, I couldn't even justify it at a $9.99 price tag. It's that bad.

okay, I am going to wait like I waited XIII.
XIII was worth 50.
Yaeh I agree. After paying for it at $13 and playing through it, I would definitely have paid more had I known how good it was.
how is Def jam: FFNY? is it worth the 29.99?
s
Yes it is...Has some longevity with multiplayer (gotta love throwing someone into an oncoming train or out the window) and a load of unlockables and create your own wrestler...officially licensed clothes from Air Jordans to Fubu...8 - 10 hrs in story mode (watch out for Ice-T he's tough) but with a lot of different combinations....I highly recommend it...My favorite fighting/wrestling game I've every played....

I completely agree. I'm looking to pick this up again for Xbox very soon.

Def Jam: FFNY is tempting... I'm going to try to wait till a $19.99 price drop or I'll try to get one of those ea online store coupons.

LOTR:The Third Age wan't bad, but only so-so. Once you see through its visuals and its good music, there's only a very average RPG system that gets pretty boring. Still it has certain moment (the Balroq is pretty damn cool). $29 isnt too bad but watch out, there isn't a whole lot of replayability. Im glad I traded this off with that EB $10 bonus deal.

XIII was worth 50.
Damn, I traded it in to EB for a buck!
well you can buy it from EB's site for 6 shipped, if you dont have it i highly reccomend it...it plays alot like goldeneye on the n64 and, deus ex timesplitters2

I did some trade deals and got Def Jam FFNY when it was full price.. it's GREAT. I strongly recommend picking it up.

Yea, Def Jam FFNY is a great game. I paid full price for it and I def. got my money's worth. Lots of characters, clothes, bling, etc you name it. Plus the fighting engine is pretty good IMO. Too bad they changed up the whole back-grapple thing from the first game.

Hmmn... Getting a used Third Age for about $20 is pretty tempting. Though I'm a LotR nut, the whole "We're like the fellowship but not really them" thing grates on my nerves. Still... That or WoW. And I think I'd be better served with WoW.

Yeah, I'll join the chorus of voices proclaiming the dopeness of FFNY. I also thought I was the only person who even noticed the missing back-grapples, let alone cared. Still, easily worth the $30.

Hmm..

Def Jam Fight for NY, very good game by AKI. I actually purchased it in full when it came out, prior the Evil EA buy out. Although can't say too much against EA since I just bought MVP in full.

I played my friends Golden Eye... utter crap. I'm waiting for it to hit $10 just for a few laughs on Live/my friends.

I heard Lord of the Rings Third Age wasn't bad. Might be worth $30 new.

EA has three good games: Burnout 3 (Criterion), Def Jam (Aki) and MVP (EA) and possibly Oddworld. I would recommend Def Jam.

I was in EB 2 days ago and got Goldeneye for Xbox. I'm usually not this like this but that game is utter garbage. I even tried to give it a few stages to see if it would get better. Took it back and exchanged it the next day. Good thing it was used.

... A lot of cursing for that game for some reason. Not that big like Halo 2 online, but is decent at most. You can probably find a game if you have a bit of patiance.

Def Jam:FFNY was a decent game. Got it on the EA sotre price screwup. I beat it and traded it in. It was a good time killer, but I didn't see myself playing it again. Wasn't realyl THAT tough....but a bit of a challenge. It was the best fighting game I played in a while.....but I'm not a big fan of the genre

GoldenEye was OK......I like it better than most, but it was still not GREAT. Just an average game....$20 at MOST. LIVE was a little stiff or something....I think the animations sucked balls on LIVE

Bigger than Dead Man's hand ;) It's ok, theres usually a few games going on. Not too many. Not as big as Wolfenstein's.
