I saw a lot of posts on Eb deals so I thought I would combine them. Let me know if I missed any. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO POSTED THESE DEALS. I have had no luck this far with these deals. If anyone could get me a ninja assault or the thing let me know. THESE ARE NEW GAMES NOT USED.

I saw the actual price list w/ the change to $25, that's just how EB does it. seems like you have to be pretty quick, unless its a universal price drop.
 
If that's the case, is there another place where I can pick this game up. I wonder if either CC or BB carry this title. It would be nice to get it pricematched.

unfortunately, I don't think you'd be able to get it price-matched. the store you're trying to price-match at would call EB, and they'd say it's their current price, which is more expensive.
 
But I would just show them the receipt that I got yesterday. Last time I did that they didn't even bother to call they just saw the receipt.
 
oh yeah, forgot you mentioned purchasing it the day before. good idea, I bet you'd be able to do it if you found it at BB or CC.

Yeah I went to a couple EB's today and found a CE but it was marked and rang up at 21.99. Damn, one day too late. I walked past the same store two days ago but didn't realize it was ebgames because its an "EBX" store. Must be an "extreme" ebgames.

They put things on a crazy sell to move merchandise that hasn't been selling well to the company as a whole. If you hear of a sell here at either store and want that title, go out today and get it. Most of the time they raise it once they have sold so many. I remember picking up Nightfire and Rygar for 5 a piece and they went up in price the next day.[/u]
 
Maybe I'm mistaken here, but I thought the point of a CLEARANCE sale was to CLEAR out items that aren't selling? Not clear out a few then just hang onto the rest.

I'm sorry, but this is bull shit. What is the point of EB doing this? Do they really want to keep these POS games or what?

Anyways, Dual Blades is 10.99 now. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is, I believe, 19.99. Meh, EB won't get my buisness until the sales go back on!

That's exactly what I was planning to do and now I'm pretty much guaranteed to miss these deals. Is Dark Cloud still $2.99?
 
The fear of the three games I was after selling out was what motivated me. I honestly never thought they'd raise the prices again this quickly.
 
Checked Dual Blade for GBA yesterday...I bought it a few days ago for $2.99(and it wasn't even worth that much, but I traded it in to a local store for $10), but the price has gone back up to $10.99. The guy looked at me like I was an alien when I told him I'd paid only $2.99 for it at that same store just a few days before.
 
Talked to the eb guy at my store yesterday, just about all of these low prices were part of a short term price drop...which is over...so there aren't anymore 2.99 deals...Crap...I waited too long to get Dark Cloud.
 
Robotech was by far the best deal I got out of these price drops. Dark Cloud is all right, but after you boot up Dark Cloud 2, you'll never want to see the first one again.
 
I wish I bought several copies of Dark Cloud and Shadowman last week. I could have got $60+ store credit at an FYE store for about 8 copies.

Ah well.
