I saw a lot of posts on Eb deals so I thought I would combine them. Let me know if I missed any. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO POSTED THESE DEALS. I have had no luck this far with these deals. If anyone could get me a ninja assault or the thing let me know. THESE ARE NEW GAMES NOT USED.

If someone could find a Dark Cloud 2 or Fatal Frame 2 for me.... I'd sooo appreciate it. I've been to every Best Buy in the area and have had no luck. Wah!

I saw Zoocube for GC for $1.99
Also spotted was NCAA Football 2004 (GC) for $14.99 or $19.99. The tag was messy and the place was busy do I didn't confirm which one.
 
BEWARE: Most of these "NEW" games are floor copies. I swear, they've tried to pimp more floor copies on me than I'd care to remember. No thanks, getting a game thats been opened and touched by hundreds of people, with a bunch of pricetags on the case isn't my idea of new. And they try to tell you "Oh it's still 100% new, you understand why we do this right?" Don't treat me like a newb EBgames, I'm better than you AND your family!

that's the reason why I go to the store and specifically ask for sealed copies, not their floor copies. if it's a rare game and the floor copy is the only one left, I take a good hard look at the disc before buying it. it really pisses me off that EB opens up a factory sealed game and then tries to resell it as new, leaving on the original factory strip after it's been slit w/ a razor, then resealing it w/ their own machines. I was particularly pissed when some of the ones I received a few months back from ebgames.com were actually floor copies.

there was actually one EB B&M store near me selling a game w/ all sorts of crap on the disc, and the guy told me I could just clean it off. yeah, cuz that's why I'm buying it "new", right? :evil: :evil: :evil:
 
I recently purchased Cubivore for 9.99.

Oh, about the floor copies. I remember buying a new copy of Super Mario Sunshine for 29.99. As I got to my car, I saw a receipt in the game. I went back to exchange the game for a new copy and the female working there was such an ass. She gave me dirty lirty looks and even tried to convince me that the game was still "new". What really pisses me off is the fact that the tellers constantly sell me re-sealed games. I must spend at least fifty dollars a week at EB and they still hand me re-sealed games even if they have a factory sealed copy. I got to the point where I only cared about the condition of the cd. Why do these workers at EB constantly give me dirty looks when I ask for a factory sealed game. WHY..WHY...

most of the employees at the EBs I visit now know that I'll usually only take a factory-sealed copy of their new games. I always ask about their remaining "new" stock, and if they only have 1, then you can almost count on it being a floor copy. I appreciate that they realize I'm picky about it, but I'm still infuriated by this "policy".
 
I have been lucky so far with getting sealed games from EB on these cheap games. WSB 2K3, ESPN Final Round Golf and New Legends were all factory sealed. Shadowman 2nd coming was not.
 
If it is a game I really want, or insanely cheap (2.99 Dark Cloud, for an example of the latter), I am willing to take a pristine floor copy as new (the really funny part is, if they sold it as preowned, it would be more expensive). I have been to 2 EBs that were down to the floor copy of Jet x2o, and I wasn't willing to drop $6.99 on it. BTW, Jet x2o (PS2) is $6.99.

"Pristine" and "floor copy" can't really be mentioned in the same sentence when you're talking about EB. :D

I also saw "Rippin' Friends" (didn't buy it) for GBA at EB for $4.99.

Confirming Dark Cloud, Dual Blades, and Robotech Collector's Edition for Cube. Got 'em all yesterday afternoon, at the prices mentioned in the first post.
 
I picked up ESPN Final Round Golf 2002 for $3. I had traded it in when I picked up Tiger Woods 2004, but I think ESPN is a much better game, so I was happy to get this for so cheap. Thanks.
 
Yes, the Thing is a great game! I rented it and loved it. And now that it is 6.99 I may just have to pick it up! Great, great game!
 
I think some of the games may be a YMMV thing because I found bombastic in two EBs in LA but they were both 19.99 and I also saw nightcaster 2 but for 29.99.

Did you have them scan it? Most of the time they are tagged incorrectly, but the right price will be in the computer.

Yeah, I even bought it but then thought it over and would rather wait until I see it for 10 and save some money so I promptly returned it. The clerk did mention something about joining their eb card club thing and if I signed up, it would knock 10 bucks off bombastic, the problem is, it costs 10 bucks to join, so I would be out 10 dollars I would rather not spend
 
Ok, here's one that's hard to find. APEX for Xbox $14.99 new. This game is similar to Pro Race Driver but has even better graphics. If I didn't already own this game, I would have snatched it up in a heartbeat.

New Legends 14.99
NightCaster 2- 19.99
Ninja Assualt- 37.99

Yes i was mad when i found they raised there prices but it may be YMMV

the recent price changes seem to be temporary, as I found out when I tried to buy an XBox Robotech CE, and they'd changed the price to $25 instead of $10, which it was selling for the previous day.

once a price change goes into effect, it apparently changes for all the stores. unless an employee is willing to honor an old pricetag, you're gonna pay whatever is in the main EB computer.
 
I was just at my EB and they had a buy two select GBA games and get 10 bucks of instantly. the games were

Golden Sun 19.99
Advance Wars 2 19.99
Yoshi Island 29.99
Metroid Fusion 29.99

I got the two 19.99 games for 30.00 dollars total. Aslo another cheap game to add to the list is Zoocube for GBA 1.99

That sucks about them raising the prices. I can understand the first 2 prices, but 37.99 for Ninja Assault???
 
I snagged the 2nd to last copy of Ninja Assault for PS2 for 10 bucks 2 days ago. The reason why it's so cheap because they said its being disontinued, unless they're getting new shipments and jacking up the price? :roll:
 
I have a question for you all. Yesterday I picked up Robotech Battlecry CE for $4.99. I went back today to the same store to pick up another copy and the guy scanned it and he told me the price was $21.99. Could the game go back up or is the guy just jacking up the price so he won't have to sell it for so cheap?
I hope that the guy is not trying to be an a**hole.
