AFAIK they scrapped the stop motion since no movie company would pay for it when you have computers. It's made to look like the Stop Motion Tim Burton films of the past though. Look at the lighting when the dead bride comes out of the grave...cant do that with stop motion, and its hard to redo lighting on already flattened images.

It's stop motion, most likely with CGI help. Hell, look at the fountain in NBX, that smoke was done in real time and later composited in. Also, with enough patience and knowhow, you can do anything with stop-motion

It makes me very happy actually. I like both mediums VERY much, so seeing both get this far (Incredibles/Corpse Bride) makes me wish i had gotten into this stuff earlier in my life
