Morning OTT

ViQueens lost last night, all is good up in these Hinterlands...

------------------------

Got my new laptop last night.

Spent the night dealing with OS reformatting, driver downloads, and 64-bit incompatibilities

:bomb::bomb::bomb:

Also, trying to figure out what I have on this new computer and what I need to put on it is a pain...
offer sent.

feel free to counter.
That trade stinks...SJ is a top 5 pick in most FF leagues, AND you want Curtis? :nottalking:

But it's Wubb's team...I'm just the highly paid advisor to the team.

What's with the incompatibilities? Software? Cause if it shipped with 64-bit Vista or whatever, all the hardware/drivers should be 64-bit too.

It's mostly software right now.

But after I reinstalled the OS, Vista couldn't find the wireless-N card nor the ATI video card.

5 minutes after I plugged an ethernet cable, all was right with the computer...

Hey BooBerry...wanna hear a story?

Wubb wanted a top tier WR for SJax. I offered the best I had, the first WR I took. To make it more even, I added a starting RB in Jones for a high-risk WR who is still injured and "hopefully" will return before the bye.

Housh is a Top 5 WR in most leagues.
And Julius Jones is now the unquestioned starter in Seattle.
Curtis is expected back week 5, MAYBE, and even then, he's not going to be in top form, which was average at best last year.
SJax is on a HORRIBLE rams team that looks to have picked up where the Raiders left off.

I had a feeling you'd be sticking by the book and wouldn't like the offer, which is why I said to counter if I had anyone you liked.

I sorta feel like I should use my YF360G credits on RB2... but I'm not that interested in RB2 and Chika isn't in much of a gaming mood lately. :\ To save them for something else... or just say fuck it, get RB2, export the RB songs, and sell RB... :whistle2:k
Played it on the PS3.
That'll do it.

So far I've been making easy work of any guards with just the long sword so I haven't felt the need to switch.
And all the assassinations have been easy one hit kills with the hidden blade either while they aren't aware of me or while the target is running for his life away from me. I'm not 100% sure I had a full DNA bar for the 3rd assassination as it was after a big fight with his guards and then I chased him down and took him out with one hit via the hidden blade w/o thinking to make sure it refilled first. If I miss that achievement I'm gonna be POed.

I do like using throwing knives. Makes getting around via the rooftops a lot easier.

On Ass Creed, the short sword is undoubtedly better if you're fighting a large group. The only difference is the time window for countering. From what I understand the block of time you can successful counter goes:

long sword - 5
short sword - 3
hidden blade - 1

A hidden blade counter is an automatic kill, but I can only successfully do it about 25% of the time (and if you miss you get whacked).

The only achievements I have left are the Templar, a few cities flags (got all of them in the Kingdom) and the Conversationalist (missed an early one before I knew about it).

Ah I notice you got the one I'm slightly concerned about wow:

"Disciple of the Creed - Assassinate all your targets with a full DNA bar."

Did you make sure of that one or did you just happen to get it?

The full DNA Bar just means you did all the sidequest things. Like saving the 8 guys or whatever. I made sure to get it.

I hear that Curtis coming back in the week before the bye, which would be Week 6 I think. Knowing Andy Reid, he will hold him out till after the BYE. Even then, a sports hernia is tough to come back from in the same season...look at McNabb and LJ on the Eagles.

However, I just have a feeling when he does come back, he's going to be important in the playoff push.

RB's on bad teams still get more points than wide receivers on bad teams. And JJ is a RB in a pass happy offense (that doesn't have any receivers). If he were more elusive and have better hands like Westbrook, it would be intriguing, but I'd have to advise Wubb that he can do better.

That's why we brought #83 in. He's a bulldog. :D

Ah well I've been doing that so hopefully I'm good.

How many cooked wings would probably be in a pound of wings?

Wholefoods had a section of smoked meats and the wings looked great but if $9 per pound means it's some ridiculous total per dozen then I'll pass.
How many cooked wings would probably be in a pound of wings?
With or without sauce? And is the sauce hot or mild? Bleu Cheese?
With or without sauce? And is the sauce hot or mild? Bleu Cheese?
They looked pretty dry. And I'm pretty sure it would be weighed without sauce + bleu cheese would need to be bought separate.

Found something that said usually 8 per pound. That's fairly pricey but not completey ridiculous I guess. Still it's a market not a restaurant...

The scallops (uncooked) were $22 per pound.
Maybe 10 wings Wubb? I dunno, I would go ahead and buy like 5 pounds or so though.
$45 in wings?

Budge is rich! :whee:

I would say a dozen wings, wubb. I think I'm over. :whistle2:|
Maybe 10 wings Wubb? I dunno, I would go ahead and buy like 5 pounds or so though.
Dang.

You're insane.

I dunno, I just know that one pound of wings would never leave me filling satisfied and I am assuming you would be making it for yourself plus at least one other person.

Then explain why Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson decimated Tatum Bell and Kevin Jones on Detroit last year? :p Also, I seem to think that a healthy Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin would, on average, do more than Edgerrin James... though that ones closer to a push. And how did the Houston RBs do last year, hmm? Certainly not as well as an injured Andre Johnson.

I'm guessing the Seahawks were a little pass happy because they fell behind so quickly. In the blink of an eye it was 24 to 3 or something to that effect. The Seahawks haven't been the same since Alexander was injured and Steve Hutchinson (or whatever his name was) defected to the Vikings, but Shaun would like to have a few words with you about his former team being "pass happy". (As I mentioned, pass-happiness is probably a direct result of losing Hutch and Shaun's injuries.)

Anyhow, Mr. Advisor, you're the man if you find me a cheap HS... and if you see players you like on me team, make a counter offer to make wubb happy. :p

If he finds you a copy of HS you have to trade us a WR for peanuts. :D
Mrs. Wubb, perhaps? :whistle2:k
Yuck. Girls have cooties.
Then explain why Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson decimated Tatum Bell and Kevin Jones on Detroit last year? :p
Easy. Mike Martz was thier Offensive Coordinator, The archetect of the Greatest Show on Turf.

Also, I seem to think that a healthy Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin would, on average, do more than Edgerrin James... though that ones closer to a push.
Agreed...closer to a push, but Edgerrin James 4 years ago would be the feature in Coach Ken Whisenhunt's (former Pittsburgh O-Coordinator of "The Bus"). He's half the back he was when he was in Indy...The push is that Anquan and Larry have no one to throw to them this year.

And how did the Houston RBs do last year, hmm? Certainly not as well as an injured Andre Johnson.
Again, it comes to coaching. Kubiak is a former QB turned Offensive co-ordinator turned Head coach. He learned under Shanahan, who only had the greatest QB in the history of the NFL, but didn't win until they had...Terrell Davis.

Seattle is a West Coast offense. And Jones is no 36-West.

Only way I can make Wubb happy is if I let him get Steve Smith. ;)

My 360 has been delivered...:whee:

Now MS, please send me a refurb and send it out today, before Texas gets destroyed by Hurricane Ike.

Thanks!

I just realized I went to sleep at 2 last night and I woke up at 6 this morning. Aside from the drunken dizziness, I feel fine after somewhat running 4 miles.
Someone go to their Sears and pick me up one of them memory units for like $7 or less :whee:
Show me what you're looking for. Or what I'd be looking for if the mood strikes.
Stick to your guns, frosty.

NO RB2 IN THE HOUSE OF FROST!
What's his name has one in his swag bag. I'm trying to figure out how to steal it from him, seeing as he's so impressed with GH4 now.
