[quote name='Spruce']I know I'm a little late on this part of the conversation but for some reason I always feel compelled to finish reading what I started and just got around to wading through the last dozen or so pages of the last OTT...
That actually brings up a different question: When the hell (and why?) did breasts become PG-13? I'm sick of all these movies that look interesting in the teaser/trailer and then end with "this film is not yet rated." It might as well just say "we still have to cut out the good parts to get a PG-13."
I'm sick of this
PG-13ization of American media. What makes it all the more frustrating is that it wasn't always like this...check out
The Beastmaster. Now, one can argue whether this is a great movie or not but that's not my point. My point is that this sucker is a PG movie and has 2 topless slave girls bathing in a waterfall. Did seeing this wreck my fragile prepubescent mind? No...it took years of emotional abuse for
that to happen.
This whole "safe for the family" bullshit has to stop. I have no intention of ever adding to the population of this planet by creating any more heathens and don't want my luxuries (be they games/movies/public environments) stifled because of them.
Oh, and by heathens I don't mean the whole lacking religion thing. I'm using it in this context: One who is regarded as uncivilized, or unenlightened. That's pretty much how I see all kids and have yet to be proven wrong.

It's actually kind of funny what you see if you go back and watch some older movies or tv shows.
I was watching an episode of the Andy Grifith show, and near the end of the show, Andy basically tells a spoiled kid's father to go to the woodshed behind the police station and whip the kid's ass.
It's amazing to see what was so accepted then, but people shy away from now.
