Oh, I doubt that.

One of the the new basic level bots looks like Kaneda's bike from akira in it's vehicle mode.

These guys have already been there, so you'll have to fight them.

But you know what they say about guys who sound like trains, right?

Maybe I should write out a shopping list next time I ask my boyfriend for 4 items at the grocery store.
The four items asked for: 1. Hi-C or Koolaid; 2. Cookies and Cream Poptarts; 3. Rice Krispie Treats Cereal; 4. Ice Cream

What I recieved: 1. Hawaiian Punch; 2. 3 other types of poptarts; 3. Smart Start Cereal; 4. Chocolate ice cream, which I do not like, but he does.

The excuses: 1. Didn't care enough to ask; 2. they had the kind I wanted but he already picked out three for himself; 3. They didn't have the Rice Krispie Treats cereal, but teh guy he went with recommended this non-sugar coated cereal; 4. didn't discover this until he left for work.

Now I don't know if I'm being a bitch, but it's not the first time he's asked me what I wanted and then completely taking creative rights on my requests. Maybe I'm just insane because when I go out to eat with my parents I'll order something we'll both like and take some home to him, even if there's something I like better. Maybe you all can't relate but it's been driving me nuts lately. It's not hard for me to remember his likes and dislikes but he can't even remember to get a cheeseburger plain.

:sigh: Sorry needed to vent.

I'll go with the "you're insane" option. :)

I kid, I kid.

I'd swear someone's been partaking of the sauce this evening.

If you were that concerned about the completeness and correctness of the list, yes.
:)

Why would that be, oh wisened elder?

4 items... and I don't get one... it's odd. And he did ask me what I wanted... I might as well have told him I wanted a live lobster.
Because you're not being your "usual" self, Sweeney.
What is "usual" for me, Shrike?
4 items... and I don't get one... it's odd. And he did ask me what I wanted... I might as well have told him I wanted a live lobster.
But you did get similar items.
Your list was very specific... you do have to give him credit for actually getting pop-tarts. It is possible that they didn't have Cookies and Cream in stock at the store he went to, as I've notice variances when I've been out shopping.

He was at least thinking of you, as his discussion with the clerk shows.
Not this.

So I'm normally moross, sullen and generally depressing? :D

Nah...you're usually somewhere in between.

What brought on this "Ultra-Happy Sweeney" night?
So I'm normally moross, sullen and generally depressing? :D
Not what I said, though not quite as manic as you're acting.

No, no... I asked him about the poptarts. He said they had it but 3 poptart boxes were enough. He found flavors he was interested in. I scolded him for that one. I mean WTF, I ask you for a brand of pop-tarts I've been wanting to try, but he goes and picks out 3 for himself.

Quantity over quality, maybe?

What flavors did he choose? If he got Wild Berry, then the trip wasn't a total loss after all. :D
So everyone is upstairs playing poker ... and I'm in the basement watching Degrassi.
And none of you even care ...

It was an Ellie heavy episode, meaning it was great.

Yeah, as much as I'd like to defend him, you really can't defend that... what's one box out of three? That's just a boneheaded move.

Actually, no, I don't care. Enjoy the TV.
Maybe he's trying to tell you something, dear.
Hah, yeah right. He's not the one to be giving me advice on healthy foods. The man won't touch fruit... only fruit-flavored crap.
Maybe he's trying to tell you something, dear.
Wow, those saved from banning by the grace of the powers that be should politely keeps themselves silenced, save the tides turning the other direction.
Maybe he's trying to tell you something, dear.
Ouch. A tad bit harsh, don't you think?
I mean, if he's buying 3 boxes of Poptarts for HIMSELF, then there may be some issues on the other side of the fence too...

fuck you old man. :oldman:

I think they're breaking out the liquor now ... more for me not to participate in.

I'll go easy on him since he did get cookie dough pop-tarts.
Dammit, I just wanted to taste the cookies and cream poptarts.

apples, bananas, and celery too,
we love to eat healthy snacks don't you?

All the more reason to hide with the TV.
Too late. Ostracized, you are. Foolish choices of TV, you make.
I know.

That's probably my worst guilty pleasure, though. When I do watch TV, it tends to be things like Scrubs, Lost, The Daily Show, and (tonight, at least) Battlestar Galactica.

I can only insult my intelligence so often, after all. :)

Sweeney failed the Oompa-Loompa auditions when he was twelve.

Obviously, the witty rhyming trauma hasn't quite left him yet. :D
All the more reason to hide with the TV.
Why? So long as you don't have issues in your past, alcohol is a very, very nice thing.

I either need to buy the DVD set or get BBC America. I so want to just sit down and watch a bunch of episodes of Flying Circus.

Actually, not that much.
I have it on good authority that I'm a right bastard if I'm overserved.
However, a couple few beers or drinks makes for a nice happy medium.

Hey...that's quality TV right there, mister!

That said, have you seen how much that box set runs?
All the more reason to hide with the TV.
Actually the TV is off now that Degrassi is over. I think I'll go stand in the corner and watch or something ...
Why? So long as you don't have issues in your past, alcohol is a very, very nice thing.
I've only drank once and I ended up dun dun dun: watching TV in the other room while everyone else played card games. In other words, it really didn't do anything for me except make me a bit tired. Stupid vodka. :bomb:
